Sorry, Implanon (1yr) does not last for 5yrs, it lasts for 3yrs for women below 70kg and 2yrs for women above 70kg. Jadelle (2 rods) lasts for 5yrs for women below 70kg and 3yrs for women above. This is my area of expertise so please go back to your physician or the nurse who inserted it for a check-up. There could be changes in your menstrual cycle when the implant was newly inserted and these usually regulate after a few months. However, when you have been seeing your normal periods for a while and suddenly miss your period or have delays, it is necessary to rule out pregnancy even though there could be other causes such as stress and infection. Being dark is regarded as a beauty trait in Ghana, especially if your skin has the rich shiny tone she has. Please, let's cool down about this religious thing. Not all Muslims are bad nor do all interpret the Quran the same way. Give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Most of us are not Muslims because we were not raised in the faith else we would be seeing things differently. Being a good Christian also means not being judgmental and instead praying for God to remove the scales from their eyes so that they see what they are doing is wrong. I've been reading this thread and silently weeping for hours now. The real problems here transcend religion. All I see is pure wickness and intolerance. I have so many muslim neighbours and friends who are decent, patient, kind and well-mannered so I can't imagine them doing this but you just never know.

Meanwhile, I have been imagining this kind of scenario at any of our own local shopping malls or a major event and God help us, it would be a pure disaster. If they took 20 mins to respond in Kenya, ours maybe up to 1hr. Please, we have to be vigilant on our own,o. Observe your neighbours, co-workers and all the people in the vicinity of anywhere you park, shop or eat out. Store emergency numbers on your phone, don't hesitate to report any overtly suspicious activities and get up and leave the place if your inner voice tells you to. This kind of situation will be every man for himself in Lagos. At least people were helping each other there but here, even a road traffic accident victim is stared at with little effort to help. I went on an AMERICAN rottweiler forum and American Rottweiler breeders are the ones who suggested the information I provided to Kingsley989. I equally provided the internet site's link where I obtained the info from. I also stated that it varies from dog to dog. Some Rottweilers go into heat when they are older than 12 months.

dasparrow: Rottweiler females go into heat for the first time on average when they are between 8 and 12 months of age. Mind you that this is the average age which means that the Rottweiler female can have her first heat when she is past 12 months old as well. It just depends from one dog to the next. Also remember that because Rottweilers are considered big breed dogs, they tend to go into heat later in comparison to the small breed dogs like Lhasa Apsos for instance.

Sorry to chip in but you should know that it is not the best to breed a dog on her 1st heat. She is still a puppy developing then. Ideally you should wait till she's 2yrs but if you must at least the 2nd heat will probably occur when she's well over 1 year. This will also help ensure she has healthy puppies that will survive.
