Buhari Orders EFCC To Probe Aisha Buhari and Her Family

•First Lady Seeks Asylum In UK

Reliable information revealed the troubles bedeviling the 1st family of Nigeria maybe far from over judging by the demeanor of the President of the federal republic of Nigeria and the body language instruction dished out to the various anti-graft agencies in the country.

A highly reliable source stated that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] has opened a comprehensive probe on the person of the 1st lady over her interaction with the many lobbyists looking to reach her husband for a favor.

Source revealed that the relationship between the 1st lady and the President had so much deteriorated to a near none existent following a few days after the swearing-in as the President of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Chief on the top reasons why the President turned away from the 1st lady was her desire to play the role of the 1st lady in the manner other 1st ladies had played – in the likes of Stella Obasanjo, Turaki Yar’Adua and Patience Jonathan.

Aisha Buhari wanted to have the type of influence over her husband as the other 1st ladies before her. She wants to influence who is appointed to certain sensitive positions in her husband’s administration, and to effectively control certain aspect of the government. According to the source, Buhari was not comfortable with the information from friends and associates concerning Aisha’s mingling with politicians and businessmen who were interested in meeting with the President. Reports have it that he raised amounts in excess of N500million within a span of six month following the presidential elections. The President was not happy with Musa. He directed for Musa to be bundled out of the Presidential villa and banished from Villa. A source from the villa told 247ureports that he was handcuffed an escorted out of the villa.

It is to this point that the presidency took to action. The President, according to the source instructed for all information of financial wrong doing by his wife and her siblings should be directed to the EFCC for further investigation. The Chairman of the EFCC – who is presently battling to impress the President – is reported to have been instructed to begin a broad investigation into the financial dealings of the 1st lady and her siblings.

247ureports is unsure the extent of the investigation. But it is certain that the 1st lady has taken her fate and abandoned Buhari’s home for the United Kingdom.

Once upon a time ; There was a Nigeria where people go as far as engaging in human sacrifices and rituals just to get presidential appointments.
Many others resort to bank loans, borrowing and mortgage to finance their lobbying. The residences of known political godfathers turn to pilgrimage Centers and most competitive opponents meet with sudden accidents or sometimes were brazenly assassinated.
Potential nominees were forced to swear oaths of allegiance to the powers that be.
Godfathers paddled the offices of the ones they installed and dictated to them on appointments, award of contracts and disbursements of funds. At a stage in that Nigeria, this act of thuggery became almost a right.

Today, in this same Country, people are not even consulted before nomination. Their records, antecedents and integrity speak for them.
Some just wake up to a call for screening by Dss or NASS or both. It's nothing but a miracle and answer to our prayers ( both Christians and Moslems) that God should give us a leader that will redirect the dangerous course that this Country was headed.

So why are people no longer killing and lobbying to get appointments but are rather running away even when appointed. And I ask why?

Is it because a new guideline that ensures accountability has been put in place?

Or is it because so many powers like award of contracts have been stripped?

Or maybe the anti graft agencies have woken up from their deep slumber?

Or maybe, just maybe, there's someone now at the head that asks questions?

For instance the Onitsha - Enugu Federal high way is a still a death trap several years after the contract has been awarded. Is it an Hausa or Yoruba man that got the contract? Assuming it's one of them, why has no one asked questions even with all the timbers and calibers we had in Nigeria politics and Government in the last dispensation.

Before you argue either in favour of the recent arrests of some judicial officers by the DSS, it is important that most of you know the following facts. They will guide you to argue intelligently and intelligibly. This is my part of contribution to the change agenda.
1. No judicial officer has immunity against, arrest, search, investigation and/or prosecution in respect of an allegation of crime.
2. The National Judicial Commission (NJC) is responsible for the appointment, discipline/punishment of judicial officers only in respect of breach of judicial ethics, and not crime.
3. Even where a judicial officer has been sanctioned by the NJC for any misconduct, the state still reserves the right to prosecute the erring officer if his misconduct amounts to a crime.
4. The Administration of Criminal Justice Act (2015) is the procedural law that guides the activities of all federal investigating and prosecutorial agencies like the police, EFCC, ICPC, DSSS,etc., as well as the Federal High Court, High Court of the FCT, National Industrial Court, Code of Conduct Tribunal, etc.
5. Any action taken by any prosecutorial agency either during investigation or prosecution must be in line with the ACJA
4. Under the ACJA, there is no time limit or time frame when a person can be arrested. There is no day that a person cannot be arrested.
5. Sections 12 (2) & 13 ACJA give a law officer the power to break into and out of any house for the purpose of arresting a suspect who fails to let the arresting officer in.
