Trump himself discouraged his own followers from voting through mail in ballot while Biden encouraged democrats to do so because of covid—19, even before the main election day, election officials which most were Republicans projected that democrats were beating Republicans by like 80:20 so why won't the mail in ballot which is counted last overturn the election. The catholic church in USA overwhelmingly supported trump and even considered excommunication for biden for his support towards abortion and gay marriage so i don't see why he will now consider being catholic as a criteria for supporting anybody that becomes president of Nigeria come 2023. Religious affiliation plays little role in world politics. There are a lot of Christian countries that are allies of Islamic countries. Even Israel is normalizing ties with UAE. Nothing will bring back this woman. Men and women please know when to quit an abusive relationship or marriage. There is no shame in divorce. You guys will be like "he/she beats me but i love him/her and i know he/she loves me cos he/she always apologize and says he/she doesn't know what came into him/her, infact i think someone is manipulating him/her spiritually so all he/she needs is prayers" and your father in the lord will affirm and keep dishing out prayer and fasting. My dear the day he/she kills you, those same fathers in the lord that preach against divorce won't be able to resurrect you neither will your strong believe in no divorce book you a seat in heaven. Those that have children will be saying "I'm staying for my kids", what now happens to those children when you die. You are of more use to them alive than dead even if you are separated from them because as long as they know you are alive, they will surely look for you I know it can be a hard decision but sometimes it's better to stop making excuses for your potential killer and quit. |

I don't know for others but i know that this girl's story has be spiced up. First they said that the mum cooked and forgot to switch off the gas cooker properly and when the girl went to boil hot water for bathing she got burnt. The girl actually died in hospital beside my house and a mutual nurse friend that works in the same hospital said that from what the girl told her it seemed she lit the gas burner, left and came after a while and saw that the fire has gone out, forgetting that the gas would have beem leaking out since then and coupled with not paying attention cos she was pressing her phone and didn't perceive the gas, she tried to light the burner again and that was when she got burnt. Which one do we now believe. |

overseer1:So you just rushed and concluded that it's all about a woman. The truth is that most parents still think that things still work as it use to back when they were growing up. They think education and federal government job is the best thing that can happen to someone. What percentage of civil servants that didn't embezzel money or had a side hustle built a good house without using their gratuity. How many civil servants can handle an emergency like sickness and still pay house rent or school fees without breaking the bank. Worst of all they think getting a federal job is easy once they know someone in one not so big position in a govt agency and you will see them complaining that the person doesn't want to help their son while the person in question is even having difficulty getting the same job for his/her own son. I know a PhD holder in my street that is yet to get a good paying job. Some parents are really ignorant and it's left for the child that is more current with happenings to decide when to take a good advice and when to put aside the misguided bad ones they give 6 Likes 1 Share |

I will never understand why some people for some unknown reason like to engage in video call in public, especially while walking on the road. The other day i saw a girl doing the same and if i didn't know better i would have assumed she was about to run mad cos of the way she was twisting and turning her head, she will walk small and stop under any form of shade and continue the video call, then after a while she will start walking again while still on the video call. If you get to the comfort of your home and make that call, will God send the angels to blow the trumpet. Now someone have filled his loved ones with sadness just because of video call. We Africans like to be emotional and religious about everything, disregarding the scientific facts and models. She said what she said but as a warning to Africans and its leaders not to take this as childs play or you all think what she said won't happen if we don't do what needs to be done just because we are overly religious. God help those who help themselves. If you drag and attack Gates from now till eternity without doing the litte you can to help flatten the curve then be rest assured that what she said will come to pass. Do you think Ecuador was praying for this calamity but because of the country's poor state which is the same as you find in a lot of African countries, they are where they are today. Out of close to 500k closed cases(cases that have had an outcome, that's those that have died or recovered), over 70% recovered and a little over 20% are those that died but because all over the world, deaths get more news coverage it seems as if everybody that gets the virus is doomed. It's most likely how they were trained. Hopefully this will open the eyes of the so called "progressive parents" that don't believe in disciplining a child when he/she goes out of line but will say "we correct our child with love", well their is no love like tough love. Their is this young mother that always come to buy things from my mom's shop and most times that i have been there and she comes, the small daughter will start pointing at sweet or juice and before you know she will throw a tantrum and the mother will buy the sweet/juice and most of the time she will owe my mom for that because she doesn't work and the only money she gets comes from N-power. Make no mistake, It's good to give your child the good things of life when you have it but it's bad to reward his/her bad behavior. Buying her sweet/juice because she is crying and rolling on the ground is just a way of reinforcing that her bad behavior and mindset that she can blackmail you into buying her anything by throwing a tantrum. Would you lather she went back, what if the parents are unable to see her through school and what if they force her into early marriage just so someone else will start taking care of her, would that be better than the prospect of being sent to school up to university level in exchange for her help at someone else's home.
