musicwriter: I was actually thinking about this type of endeavor few days ago but I wasn't thinking about it at state level.
Why can't there be the following:-
Igbo-Hausa bank Yoruba-Igbo university Igbo-Fulani agro-allied firm Ijaw-Bini fund for development Nupe-Ishekiri development bank Igbo-Hausa secondary school
You get my drift? That's how to begin to get the illusive unity.
See, if we're talking about setting aside our ethnic differences, it would take honest hard work of nation building. There ought to be deliberate effort for unity before you get it, not by wishful thinking as I told someone here on Nairaland few days ago. Sooooo true |

Fuckingmallam45: They are indebted to so many countries, like China. In essence, countries lend money to the US so they can consume more of the origin country's exports. For China specifically, the investment in US federal bonds is also a trade tactic to maintain their trade surplus by keeping their currency artificially low. Trade surpluses in theory are supposed to be self regulating because the more a country exports, the more profit it receives which should reflect a rise in their currency value, thereby making their exports less competitive. What China does with their export revenue is reinvest it into the US to keep their currency low and for it to be circulated back to China again in even more export revenues.
I'm no Greenspan, but with a good dose of common sense, anyone can see that this is clearly not sustainable and creates an unhealthy reliance on China and their unabating channel of loans to sustain the US economy. I guess this is one of the reasons US has been fanning the ember of war between china and Taiwan so that if china fall for the trap, they quickly sanction them and wipe off china's debt they are owing just as they have done to Russia, Iraq etc stealing in broad day light while giving a fraction of that money to the other party as war equipment like tanks to fight their main rival. But this type of politics is getting glaring and we now know that the number one thief in the world is US |

EmeeNaka: Who are all these countries indebted to? The Bank Cartels The banking family like the Rothschild's family etc They control virtually everything in the world. There are rumors that these families were the descendants of the knight templars who saw a misery book at the Solomon's temple underground that made them soooo rich but these group went underground and operate from there as an ocoult group called the illuminati They are the one that form the modern day banking system and they made their money from borrowing royal families, countries, corporation money from thin air. |

BlessedOne01: The USA and other advance societies borrow to make life easier for their citizens by providing welfare and building modern amenities!
But Nigeria and other "3rd world countries" borrow with the sole purpose of "looting" the money!
What an irony! And go make it worse, the money they borrowed and looted would be kept in offshore accounts abroad which would be gathered and given to them back as loan when they apply to reloot. Walahi, black race is a curse |

That was how one moniker opened a thread that “of what use is money when you can’t travel “ - literarily, he believe only those with foreign passports can easily travel out of the country. Such a mentality. Give me the most useless country passport in the world and give me $150,000. You will be shocked the number of countries I would have gone to in 6 months. I mean just 6 months. With that money, in 6 months time I will be applying for a new passport because I go don use my 64 pages /10 years passport finish in just 6 months. Enter this country use 4 days, stamp in, stamp out and I will continue doing that for 6 months. Even person wey carry UK passport sef go shout if e see stamps wey dey my passport |

Yhemzie: Sis, your partner isn't stingy, just trying to let you be responsible for yourself. Most rich guys hardly spend for their partners at the initial stage of relationship, they don't spend to impress like the broke guys and exactly why broke guys keep wallowing in their brokeness. All they want is a lady that could be responsible for herself atleast and be productive. Tell him you have a business plan that will cost you 1M naira to execute and you already have 700k with you, I can bet you, he will to hesitate to support you with the remaining 300k. Then you know is not stingy. The question is - Do you think she has 700k to start with? If she lies to get the 300k and with time the guy noticed she hasn’t started the biz or struggling with it because she only enters it with the 300k instead of the 1m, don’t you think he will see her like a scammer? |

You need Simps who will validate your smelly mentality that he's stingy. You've presented yourself as a liability and he doesn't want that. It's a smelly habit to ask for money for hair, cream and soaps from a guy.
You didn't even ask for money to help your business but hair. He will dump you soon my dear. Expect that I don’t even know what broke ladies look for in relationships. For God sake, what you need is a job and not relationship. This is misplacement of priorities |

freddie009: Something about men with money, they are very bold and blunt. Even after telling you he doesn't have money, you still go nowhere because you know that as soon as you leave someone else is waiting to replace you.
Brothers in all you do make money Gbam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I endorse it. It is true. When I was still financially struggling, I see how my in-laws (SILs, MIL etc) always boast about their family members that married rich guys loudly, even the ladies talking about rich dudes they have met and all). If there is one thing I noticed about women in general, it is that the love rich guys. I mean all ladies whether rich or struggling ladies. They use these rich dudes to boast among themselves to feel better than the other. So I always feel uncomfortable when I find myself within their discussion because I always feel invincible and kind of inferior. As a matter of fact, they don’t even care if you are there. They don’t watch their tongues or conscious of their statements and discussions. Then my finance gradually improved and I became very bold among them too and I always gently and quietly dose out TRP statements among them like - if a man is financially stable, I don’t see any reason why he should marry. It is an unnecessary headache. I notice they all always feel uncomfortable with my statements. Sometimes they will put up strong arguments against my statement like it is because I don’t Love the person blah blah blah and then I reply them that who Love help? A Love that can’t pay bills, build house, buy car for me not get me job. As a matter of fact, the place have gotten to in this Life, Love has no impact on it because no woman wan date me when I Dey struggle. So they will all keep quiet and I noticed they have been watch what they say around me of recent. My MiL even said at a point that I am a very self-centered person and I agreed with her. |

peanutbutterr: you have a point though, but i don’t think language would be a barrier. we have Nigerians even in south korea and so many non-english speaking countries living and working there.
honestly now is one of the scariest time to be a nigerian, excluding the upperclass. i’m not trying to be bias but you saw how controversial the presidential election was, the risk of doing business in nigeria especially lagos just went from 50% to 100%. with the new government in power everybody is living in self-denial that the govt would do better. who goes to a fight when they have a fortune to lose?
do you know the amount of thugs on our roads with inked marker and 2*3 plank? cash and food scarcity is a topic for another day. what about electricity? if you don’t have an installed solar system, there nothing like enjoying 24 hrs light except you live in Bourdillon. even our fuel now cost a fortune to get and still you get cheated on your money.
I just gave you the situation report of things happening in nigeria presently. Most of us here crave for a relaxed life with the provision of basic amenities but what do we get in return ….. well this is the reason why lagosian are always angry lol. You can use Duolingo to learn Portuguese. Download it on playstore and it is very easy to learn. rezzy: I heard their money doesn't have value again.
I know a woman and her daughter that returned from Angola after spending about 17 years there.
She said when she sends money back home (Nigeria), its very useless. That is true. And things are a bit expensive here. I bought an infinix hot 12 play last week at Luanda when my iphone started having issues and i got it for 92,000kwanza which is $200 black market rate here which becomes 150k naira black market rate. This phone i believe will get it between 100 to 120k in nigeria. So i think angola is more expensive than nigeria

Bullman: I have lived in Luanda for bout three months in 2019. Angola is a very nice place if you can speak Portuguese. Very few people understand little English. Most Nigerians live in the capital Luanda, Luanda looks exactly like Lisbon the capital of Portugal really beautiful but bloody expensive. Angola economy is massive .. they have alot of white Portuguese and mulatto people living there .. angola girls are really pretty.. your only challenge will be the language , Portuguese is difficult it is not easy to read or speak like Spanish. Electricity is almost 24hrs daily Above all the country is really safe and less populated. Why did you leave the place bro? where are you now? I stayed briefly at talatona. It is their presidential lodge and office area. Kind of like the most beautiful place in Luanda |
