tensazangetsu20: Bros eh I knew the man will win. I voted for obi, they said we wasted our votes and it's true. Apc won the polling unit. Today before they even started announcing results they have started sharing asoebi. There are people who live a kind of life that they think it is normal and wonder why others are crying for good standard of living. Many nigerians are poor - No doubt about this. Drinking garri regularly, eba regularly, sleeping in heat, cadle light or lantern etc and they see it as normal. They also believe that is how it should be and wonders why you are yearning for more. I am tired of praying for Nigeria. I am tired of praying regularly for a good life - good roads, 24hrs electricity, good health care, good schools etc I want to go to where my prayer time will reduce drastically because those things are in place and they are NORMAL. i want to go to a place where i don't need to be lobbying people before i get jobs or my children need letter from my king or senator before they get a job. I want to go to a place i don't need to be going to prayer mountain or fasting or doing night vigil with my international passport for visa before i travel. I want to go to a place where buying and driving a car is normal and not a luxury or a bragging right. I want to go to a place where going on vacation, tours, hangouts are normal and not a luxury. I am tired of being a Nigerian and rather than complain, i know what to do. Alatise lo mo a tise ara e |

This is not the kind of country or environment i want my kids to grow up from. Itis obvious there are more stoopid people in nigeria than normal people and i don't want their decision making to affect my life nor kids. ObosiUkwalla: Hordes of illiterates and almajiris up north should desist from choosing the very wrong leaders for Nigeria.
Look at all the polling units in universities across Nigeria and see results for yourself. These re learned and exposed people.
Waec should be the minimum criteria to be able to vote in this country. Enough of people without future dictating how this country is governed. Honestly, i am tired of illiterates determining the future of others. They are poor, illiterates and uneducated yet want to impose their stupid useless lifestyle that kept them poor and uncivilized on us. I hate democracy with passion. |

And they have no animosity towards Nigerians at all. Maybe because it's French and our people are too lazy to learn a new language, and also because it's farther than Ghana.
Which makes it even better for me. The fewer the Nigerians, the better. I was ther two years ago. Community services that help them to improve accountability for the few that are allowed into public office. - How will their service improve the accountability of public office holders?
That will help you understand the rest - tbh, i really don't |

As in do they pay taxes properly and fully? Do they work on community projects like public schools, public health facilities, public libraries, public museums etc?
Are these things not the differentiator for backward black societies that export their people and resources to the oyinbo societies How much of their doing fine, is at the expense of everyone else in the community/country? - i don't get your question. How is their own enjoyment affecting others? are they the cause of their misfortune? As in do they pay taxes properly and fully? - I can't say but i believe they do and i do too and my question back to you is how useful as the tax collector used the tax so far? you need to blame the tax collector and not the tax payer. Do they work on community projects like public schools, public health facilities, public libraries, public museums etc? - It is not their duty to do that before enjoying themselves. It is still the work of the tax collector to put the tax collected into such use. Afterall, that is the reason he is collecting the tax in the first place. Are these things not the differentiator for backward black societies that export their people and resources to the oyinbo societies? - So how is this the problem of a common man/individual who decides to go and whine down a bit through flexing? |

Your first paragraph is apt! Even if na twice annually, after having emergency savings o admist the retrenchment these days. Yes, they do. Kollatunez tour is one of the groups I am and he shares the daily event on the WhatsApp group. Very very interesting. Also Wan tour, Naija Explorers etc. The 10 guys that went through Kola just came back yesterday. 7 days tour to Rwanda for 700k per person sharing including flight to and fro, accommodation, feeding etc. it was really fun. Would have loved to go such tour as a single but for family it will be really financially draining. About savings, yes you are right. Someone must have good backup funds nowadays because of unforeseen events like retrenchment etc |

Also, are there no operating costs in lifting this crude from beneath the earth's surface? They are always quick in pressing the calculator and doing exchange rates 1 barrel is around $70-80 presently if am right. It takes nigeria about $26 to drill a barrel of oil (total running cost) and the sharing formula between nigeria govt and IOCs is 60/40. So roughly, nigeria government is making about $30 per barrel currently. |

Mstravelindiva: I also don’t use a travel agent, I book everything myself. Google and YouTube allows me to do all the research I need for FREE so I can save my coins on my travels, thus why I share it on NL for free. I’m not endorsed or sponsored, all travels are paid for by me, myself and I!
Safe travels friend! I love this and will really take advantage of YouTube going forward. Thanks for this idea. Many people think until they have good cash before they travel or go on tours but this is a big lie because if you wait until you have enough before traveling, you will never have that enough and one day you look in the mirror and see that you are either old or already in the grave. There will always be a bill to pay everyday so you have to squeeze out from it and catch your fun and experiences. There is no perfect time. Also, i noticed that many nigerians go on vacations alot but you won't know this until you change your circle. I am in a tourist group and i know what is going on. There are 10 nigerians presently in rwanda on vacation and will so be back soon while many more have gone or yet to go to countries like kenya, rwanda, south africa, Mauritius, Seychelles etc Nigerians are really goingon vacations. Do enjoy your trips sis. |

Mstravelindiva: Don’t let other peoples opinions or misconceptions discourage you. You have good intentions, and if you truly wanted to show off, NL isn’t the forum to do it on, lol. You can show on Instagram, FB or TikTok where it matters!
Let them get mad, they are going to hate anyway, because they aren’t happy with themselves, so how can they be happy for you? So you might as well do what makes you happy and post away, because many will appreciate what you do. I love to travel, nothing more nothing less. I don’t put others down or make them feel inferior, I want them to know that black folks do travel well like others, so please don’t feed into the stereotypes that only other races or ethnic groups travel. I’m BLACK and proud and I belong in the same spaces as others!!!!
I simply ignore the trolls and haters, and don’t give them what they want which is attention. Continue to post because the world is watching and we’re proud of you and your accomplishments. No hate…just love…I love to see my people succeed and successful…I’m clapping for everyone! You matter!!!! Yes, you are right sis. I noticed you mostly travel solo. Do you prefer that to going in groups like using a tour agent? Networking and socializing? Why going on tour solo may cost less, I find it a bit boring for me because I will struggle to know the right places to explore and enjoy unlike a tour agent with vast experience of where to take us to. So far so good, using your agent within nigeria for hangouts and daycation is worth it but the cost of using them for foreign trips to Dubai, east Africa etc to name a few is too expensive |

Mstravelindiva: I agree which is why I posts my travels on NL!
Happy Travels! I also like posting my travels, tours and hangouts here, but some people think i am showing-off or feeling big or rich, but this is not the case. Some of us just enjoy vacations, tours etc. and like uploading it just like the whites do but it is a totally different mentality down here Africa. |
