I didn't actually know that they have their own community called ECCAS (Economic Community of Central African States), and their overall GDP is not even up to Nigeria. But again, the combined population of the overall ECCAS member state is not up to Nigeria.

Given the resources and potential they have, their GDP is disgraceful. ECCAS is bigger than Ecowas in landmass and has more resources.
