Hahahahahahhahahaa. To be fair to him, it does not really mean that way. Some people could have so much money, but they don't just feel at home in the diaspora. He is even in the UK, yet feels like that. What about those in Estonia, China, Korea, Germany etc.,? I can understand him. One of my guys who I can see the potential of making money has stated he would return to Nigeria once he achieves his monetary aim. He lives a good life presently, but does not feel here is home. It is a means to an end, not the end.
Tbh, I don't fancy Japa too.

Nigerians with zero common sense.

He left Nigeria because of the opportunity to make money in UK.
He prefers living in Nigeria to UK but since he is looking for a better opportunity in making money, UK to him is better.
People telling him if you like Nigeria why don't you make money in Nigeria, you people don't have sense.
You that doesn't like your job, why are you still working there?
You guys should be logical, one can go and hustle in an environment they don't like, simply because you are hustling in a particular environment, that doesn't mean you should like it.
Nigerians always regurgitating same words "if you don't like it there, come back blah blah blah"
Can't you have other meaningful reply by repeating same words, get a brain for yourself
Exactly bro
How many people are doing banking jobs yet tired of doing it but they can't because they need to survive.
Many people hate living in Lagos due to the stress, traffic etc but just can't quit because that is where they can get a decent job to do.

I don't know how people prefer the life here over the one in Nigeria. I think it's just a defence on the syndrome using something like security, good life and others but I am not part of them. My goal is to make money here and establish myself in Nigeria.

I prefer an insecure Nigeria to a secure UK provided there is money. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. Our main motive here is to make money not that we enjoy life here.

You want men to respect you and your decisions, yet you expect them to provide and give you money? With all these your entitlement mentality? I'm ok with your decisions not to go down with any man until marriage but know that you're not better than babes that did that with their husbands before they got married. In fact, with the way you sound, the sex is your last card and you got nothing after that.

See, the world is too big for any single person. We won't even know that you didn't get married or that you died a virgin. Do whatever you like with your life

But don't come and call guys that are guarding their money from wolves like you stingy, not sure they called you stingy when you were protecting your body

It goes both ways my dear

Madam Celibacy or Picker,

Keep on with your negative attitude and you'll later realize the hard way that time and tide wait for no woman.

All the sentences about your experience has shown that you have pride and it seems you're already stuck and a prisoner of it.

You're very lucky that all those guys you were able to get close to, were all docile simps... Assuming, you were able to meet an alpha male, your Toto for don tear anyhow.

You cannot find true happiness in a relationship or forced marriage, I repeat, you're loveless.

My candid submission to you right now, in order to get out of this quagmire, is to enroll yourself as a nun in one of these Catholic churches which is certainly your root.

Give yorubas their own country and in the absence of igbos and fulanis, another hate will fill the void by hating on each other.

True. Do you now agree that Nigerians are poor?

Check the share of iPhone users by country. Nigeria isn't even in top 50 as they don't count fairly used and stolen hacked iPhones from computer village.. Majority can't afford a brand new iPhone 13 or 14.

Statistics don't lie.
North Korea?
I thought nothing in and out of that country and the citizens are massively shackled down with poverty by their dictatorial president.
So this country has a higher purchasing power than Nigeria despite the heavy sanctions on them?

I closed down my vegetable oil factory majorly due to power related issues.
For my milling machines to work, I need constant complete 3 phase lines to running the industrial machines.
Lack of it caused burning my electric motor, regular stopping and break to fix the power issue.
High cost of running biz because I have to buy diesel generator.
Occasional breakdown of generator - mechanic workmanship cost, spare parts cost after which it may not even work sef due to fake or incorrect spare part or incompetent mechanic all these causing regular financial loses untop say income no they enter and days run into weeks to bring back the factory to working level again.
Just pray you don't go into industrial processing that needs serious power to function.
A foam making factory in my place is near collapse because of power.
Anytime nepa takes light while they are on duty, whatever foam product they are producing currently in the machine becomes a waste and they have to clear the lines before resuming processing using expensive generator

how many Nigerians can even afford full fees. we are talking between 18 to 25m. i have to sell properties to raise this sum.

after payment of fees you still need about 6m to apply for visa n health insurance and alo flight... even fact keep 35m.
Omohhhjjj

These oyinbos really want to wreck Africa.
They will do anything in their capacity to see that whatever money we get from them through crude oil sales finds it way back to them.
We sell crude and buy back petrol more costly from them.
When they come to school here, they can do it virtually cheap but when we are to school there, you will have to virtually sell the family house to fund the expenses.
What about their football league? Most companies like DStv are always at the brink of bankruptcy just to get a license to broadcast their leagues. Hitv went broke due to this.
The transaction between a black man and a white man has never favoured a black man for once.
They always outstrip and loot us.

Omoh, I no go even try am.

I haven't looked at the numbers, but would solar installation by Daystar Power do the magic? Power is a major issue, but how are the Indians and Chinese still in business? That stuff bewilders me. huh
I doubt that bro.
To the best of my knowledge, solar can only power single phase machines or engines and not industrial 3-phase machines.
You only need 1 line out of the 3 lines in a pole to power a house but you need the complete 3 lines full 220v to power and run a 3-phase industrial machine.
Why are the chi ese and indians succeeding? Many are failing but you won't know since we are not among them or their clicks.
I know 2 or 3 indian companies that has folded up in my area and they have gone back to their country.
Also, most Chinese and indian companies succeed because they have huge cash to start and run a company which many Nigerians too do anyway.
A case study of my biz - many people are still running my type of biz in the north - Kano and gombe as case study and it is profitable and it's what they are using to feed their families.
It is all about working in clusters.
If you are starting a biz as a fresher, my advise is to start a biz and work in clusters. That way, you are protected.
A Chinese or India that wants to run my biz would have a huge warehouse where they store groundnuts at cheap season that will last them atleast a year to the next cheap season and have 2 or more machines running at a go there by avoiding mechanical breakdown of 1 with spare parts on standby in the warehouse to change immediately and continue processing.
They will have a technician and electrician on standby to fix any power issues, mechanical issues and milling engine problems.
For a SME who is just trying to start something and feed his family, you don't have such financial muscle to stay in biz and compete with these guys.
Most Nigerians entering small and medium scale biz are you average Nigerians with 2 to 5m trying to start something. Not someone with 50 to 100m cash on ground to hit the ground running

As pain increases, the sellers of 'painkillers' will definitely thrive and multiply.

Agreed and the more prosperous a country is, the more the churches shut down.
So invariably, pastors codedly don't pray the country gets better because it won't favour them.
What most people go to church to pray for like God I need visa, I need job, I need car or house etc will sort themselves out with a good economy thereby reducing the number of people going to church
