Music/RadioRe: Who Is The Best Musician In Nigeria: 2face Or Dbanj by emmke(m): 12:31pm On Nov 04, 2011
PROUD-IGBO:
Honestly, i tire for una shocked. I've just listened critically to your Tubabas 'Raindrops' and 'Outside' that everyone seems to be harping on about, and they're both average to be honest. Or is it the 'African Queen', you want to talk of?: that song is so unbelievably boring and mind-numbing that i could never understand what all the fuss was about.

The first 2 songs of Tuface i mentioned earlier have been out on youtube since june, and have only managed to garner about 8thousand views; the 'Implication' one that's been out since middle of last year (i admit this one has a nice beat to it) has only managed about 44thousand views, and this is someone you guys are holding up as the leading-light on the Nigerian music scene today shocked.

Don't get me wrong, he's ok and could even be better in future, but let's not have a case of 'The Emperors new clothes' here.

I remember when i went to Ghana in 2009, Ghanaians were crazy at the time over 9ices' Gongo aso, and it was one of the song that must be played at any party. It made me proud to be Nigerian. On youtube, the video has got views in the millions and still counting. Same thing with Psquares 'No one like you': i think that's the first Nigerian song that's brought tears to my eyes watching the video angry, and it's loved all over the world. Psquares videos (like Ifunanya) have got views of about 4million+ and counting. The one they did with J Martins has even more. All this shows you the global appeal these artists have, and that they're not local champions. I may be wrong, but i don't think any of Tufaces' videos on youtube has garnered more than 200thousand views, so i don't really know what's going on with all the over-the-top praise and saying he's the best in Nigeria huh.

Tuface is ok, but he's not the best and i'm starting to think maybe you guys have been 'jazzed' undecided. Haba!!!
u are just been tribalistic. 2 face is waaaay better than p-square. He's the best whether u like it or not.

@ezer say what ever pleases u but it rocks to be a plateau boy. War happens everywhere and now it's happening in plateau. The good thing though is we the plateau are not losing. Most of u here have this wrong notion that the hausas are having a fill day here on the plateau. For where? Ask the hausas how they are fairing, i bet they would tell u they regretting their actions. Plateau people, though hospitable and peace loving, aren't cowards. We fight for what is ours and that's what we are doing now. Having said that, jos is still a beauty (man isn't she a beauty). Ur brothers and lots of southerners that can afford to live in any city in the world are still resident here in jos. The mikel family, the p-square family, plus tons of other igbos still prefer to live here in jos. That must say a lot about jos. Man it just rocks to be a jos boy. JOSBOI4LIFE kiss

This is what Gowon did to my beloved brothers and sisters. His state is indeed facing Karma presently.

I bet you Plateau state has not seen anything yet. The Hausa/Fulani must make that land desolate.

No Igbo man or Woman should pity Jos when brim stone from the Hausa/fulani starts raining there.
lol pity plateau? Who needs ur pity? Igbos are killed here in plateau just as much as the indigenes. And u should also understand that we dont just sleep and watch the hausas. We hit back, far harder than they do us, ask any of ur igbo friend or sister/brother living in plateau (they are still here despite been slaughtered for a fight they know nothing about). It's the igbos that should be pitied. They died enmass during the biafran war and they are still being killed in jos, kaduna and anywhere were there is unrest (igbos getting killled over stuffs that have nothing to do with them) i think it sux to be igbo sometimes

Okay so Abubakr Tsav(TIV),Ibrahim Mantu(mangu),Abdullahi adamu(keffi),Akwe doma(akwe of nasarraw),young alhaji(Idoma) are all settlers?wonders shall never end.Have you checked the LGAs in Plateau alone.Wase,Kanam, gindiri, gengere are predminantly Muslims and natives .You must be dumb to also claim that all the locals of the other states are all settlers because of faith. The stupidity and rumours, aiding people like you must have caused the misguided utterances ignorance people like you exibit.Go check Mr man.I am from the north and can tell you more.Even the Middle beltens are carefull about using xtianity as the reason to be identified.Even thought that is the driving force under. They can't do that because it would only isolate them more and make them irrelevant. They Know we Know that the North central is almost evenly divide between Muslims and xtians with higher probability of muslims being slightly greater.check state by state and the religious populations don't be decived by the people that come out in the name of MB elders yet represent the few in there tribe and locality.
gengere is not LGA. it falls under Bassa LGA where they majority are by far non hauas; have u heard of the miangos, buji, amo, rukuba? now those are the true indigenes of that lga gindiri too isn't an lga, its under mangu lga with the mwagavul as the majoririty (i dont think the hausas are upto to 10% in that lga), the hausas are just settler. fact. now kanam, hausas (settlers in fact) are not more than 30%, am being generous. only wase is predominantly hausas or muslims. all the LGA'S in plateau state are predominantly christians except of course wase. just wase.[

ak47mann Say what ever u wanna say but my people though few always fight for what's their's. U think the hausas are having it easy in jos? Get one of them resident in jos to gist u or easier, ask ur brothers (who cant leave jos for the so-called land of the rising sun, despite accruing casualties in a fight that's not their's.) living in jos how brave a typical jossite is. Whatever the case, our best option in the middle belt is to have our country in the event of breakup. If that aint possible, then is best we remain in nigeria with the others. But never to join u igbos in your quest to enslave any minority that joins u in that your biafra. We all know igbos care for no one but themselves and i really pity anyone that will join u people.
PoliticsRe: cc by emmke(m): 9:56am On Oct 17, 2011
just listen to this igbo man called ak47. Is it by force to join biafra lol? If hausas are killing us how is that your problem (and FYI is not as if the jossites are just lying down and watching the hausas slaughter them. i can also tell u that u greedy igbos are also having casualties whenever there's a crisis) Oh i see, u want to liberate us like u tried to do the yorubas in 60's? Oh what a kind hearted igbo man. The truth is igbo man is evil, a bigger evil than the hausaman. U dont want middle belt in biafra cos u care about them. U want them cos of what they have to offer, land mass and agriculture. I repeat we no want igbos or any biafra, na by force. Lol. See me see trouble.
PoliticsRe: cc by emmke(m): 9:21am On Oct 17, 2011
did i hear someone say middle belt allying with biafra? In your dreams. No way in our right thinking mind will we like to share the same country with a bunch of annoying, ungrateful and greedy people, call igbos, never. U igbos are the worst of all the major tribes in nigeria and if we most go with any, igbos will definitely be our last choice. frankly speaking it's not pleasant living with u people. So no no no, we middle belters dont want no biafra. Thanks for the offer anyway.

They are travelling to the city(SE) so they have to buy foodstuffs from the rural area(Benue) and those in rural area are happy selling to them cos, once they travel for like two weeks nobody in the rural area(BENUE) can afford to pay the price of those food stuffs.
benue a village u all cant stop trooping to. SE the city y'all cant wait to leave. Am not from benue, but i can tell u benue is far more livable than ur crime-erosion-kidnapping-ritualistic ridden SE.

Areosapien:
LMAOOO! You're clearly a local Idoma village dunce, so your ignorance-induced stupidity is pardonable. Have I not visited this Benue for my youth service? Mr man, don't use the anonymity of the internet to come lie about your dying state, cuz there might just be someone lurking in the corner to take you to the cleaners. Tell me, is Ogboko not a glorified onion village? What do you have? And which of your men feed better than Igbos? Which of your men even have jobs besides picking pockets? Are Igbos not the ones still in charge of the high paying jobs there? My cousin owns a large boutique right at the heart of Ogboko, and the only thing the men around there are good at, is breaking into the shop in the dark of the night, to cart away with panties and lingerie! FACT! So, don't even come here to lie about things, e hear?Exactly! You've even helped confirm my points that the Igbos there ain't suffering. Now tell me, would they be packing things if they couldn't afford it? The typical Igbo man lifestyle is to enjoy life to the fullest, while hustling as the days go by. Now, tell me, how many Benue people do you even se :Pe working in other states? Oh, my guess exactly - Zero, since they're useless to the society and themselves grin
hey idiota nyamiri u are a big mumu. Am not even idoma, haha. Truth is regardless of whatever this thread is saying, we all know u people cant even stay in your land, cos is just not livable, haha, and u keep flocking to other people's land, even as u are being killed daily. Come to think of it, is ur land that terrible that u cant go back even in the mist of danger? Lol. I mean igbos have the highest casualties, cumulatively, from the various crisis in the history of this country. All because u just cant stay in that ur erosion ridden land. Now u are insulting benue people, a people that are most likely accommodating ur brothers (something u people are not good at). No wonder no one likes u in nigeria. Go and sleep nyamiri. Hahahà. wawa ka wai

useless analysis and unnecessary bragging if u ask me. Desola:
Nigeria's greates mistake was to allow the enemy stay in the fold. You don't expect the ibos, after fighting and losing a war terribly to suddenly become one with you. That is why generations after the war, their hatred of Nigeria is growing in leaps and bounds. You should think and wonder why younger generations would be so full of hate and wickedness and you would find the answer in their parents; their parents have been feeding them the hatred so while Nigerians go about their daily activities, an ibo man is plotting on the day the would kill everyone because they believe that everyone but them is at fault. They are the saints and Nigeria is the sinner. What you see on this board is only a tip of the iceberg from these wicked people. My fear is that when they do strike, my people would bear the brunt of it because we have fallen into a deep slumber and allowed these wicked souls to infiltrate our land and eat with us. They would kill Yorubas and they would enjoy doing it. Until the Yorubas wake up and start being tribal and defend their land, the evil that has been growing within us will eventually erupt. You should look at the numbers in which they are trooping into our land and despite living comfortably, they are not relenting until they see our downfall.

The Hausas agains the ibos would be alright anyday. The Hausas are not afraid to lose their lives for what they believe in so any confrontation made by the ibos would always leave the wicked ibos at the losing ends. Yorubas however would have sustained too many casualties before regaining its consciousness.

Nigeria although should not have agreed for the other easterners to be greedily taken over by the ibos, it should have however let the ibos go. Nigeria should have carved off other easterners who did not wish to go with ibos to stay and cut of the cancer called ibo.

Hausas on the other hand are a different case. I still believe that they are good people who are acting out because they were obviously cheated out of an agreement. Jonathan did them wrong and that is the reason why they are acting out. It is not about religion but about the presumed Southern conspiracy to scheme them out.

Hausas are far less dangerous than the bastards we continue to allow to live within us.
c
believe me when i say hausas are lovely people. Am not kidding. Ibos? Well they are the most greedy, ungrateful, inhospitable, obnoxious, arrogant and annoying set of people u can ever come across. They cant even unite within themselves. Lol. How i wish they can just carve out ibos, only ibos, out of nigeria.

Please Shut up if you dont know what to say.!! shocked shocked shocked shocked Which French and Canadians, ? The one your fathers spoke to. Abeg go and read your history wella. The only foreign individuals that where in Biafra during the war were those who came to Show the world through the Media the menace Britain was aiding. The so called Britain was hypocritical by pushing Arms and foreign Expertriates to Nigeria, whilst sending Aid to Biafra. The simple reason being that they knew how weak and unintelligent the Hausas and yorubas are and that letting the Igbos go was going to smell doom to their quest for Crude, lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed.
So i beckon you to crosscheck your thesis before putting it on a forum as this because it brings out the Yorubas Idiotic nature even the more. Or is it the Hausas Ignorant face. angry angry
u shut up. Am neither yoruba nor hausa. But truth is igbos are they most annoying bunch of people u can come across in nigeria. Just listen to urself trying to imply everyone is dumb, except igbos. And why do you hate Igbos? Can't compete with them? That will be my guess you lazy f00l. And keep thinking that Igbos are powerless, Nigeria would have been a colony of Biafra if not for British and Russian support of the Nigerian side. Igbos are capable of defending themselves, and I am sure the Chinedu you profess to have can kill you before you get to him.
not that am in support of arsenefc, but chest beating and arrogance like this makes it easy for people to hate igbos. U also forgot to add that the biafrans where also helped by the french and canadians. For all the so called genius of the igbo man, humility and diplomacy has never being their forte

i've always known this, unity is not in igbo dictionary. In one thread, someone posted beautiful pix of owerri and to my greatest suprise the people that grew jealous were actually igbos from other states, particularly anambra. This is the edge the hausas always have. United u stand, divided u fall.
