Travel › How To Travel Business Class At Economy Rate by emonkey(op): 7:00pm On Jul 11, 2018 |
A corporate trip isn’t much of a fun if you are spending a lot of money to gain a stressful escape whilst getting the least of the facilities while traveling miles away from home. Business traveling is a stress within itself and requires a lot pampering and comfort to the travelers who is traveling abroad with a lot of business related pressure on the head. Booking Business class flights are not as easy as we all think as not only the number of seats limit the supply that can comply with the demand, but the pricey cost of the business class flight tickets is equally bothersome. Hence, finding a great way to travel the way you like is an important issue these days. Business class flights are the perfect way to travel with comfort, luxury and without any hassle, and getting a business class ticket is a serious issue for us all. Hence, with the help of travel experts and frequent fliers, we have come up with a list ways to fly at cheaper rates in business class: Purchase an Upgrade Airlines are quite frequent in selling out the upgrades of the flight ticket that can give you the opportunity to convert your economy class flight ticket into business or even first class flight ticket. The process is simple yet most of the people are unaware of the fact. At times, the airline run short on passengers and often auction the tickets at a nominal fee. These auctions come at the airlines’ website and you can put your bid for the same to earn the upgrade. Similarly, at the time of check-in, you can ask the airline at the counter to see if there is any business class seat available in your flight. You can pay some nominal charges at the time of airport check-in and upgrade your reservation to the business class ticket. Using Loyalty Programs Airlines love to retain their customers and at times they give you the loyalty points every time you fly with the airline. These points can further be used in various ways that include but doesn’t limit to the access of business class lounge at the airport, discounted stays at the selected hotels, airline merchandise and even the upgrade. Every time whenever you fly with your pet airline, you earn these points that come with the expiry date. So, if you are frequent on flying and are loyal with one particular airline, you can use these points for an upgrade if they are sufficient. Additionally, there are only a certain number of airlines that currently provide such services, so you must be using this trick wisely. Usage of Elite Class Credit/Debit Cards Both the airline and the travel agencies are now becoming trading partners with the banks to lure the travelers into schemes that are beneficial for all of them. The elite class credit and debit cards are the game changers in today’s market where the bank offer you the cards with the fee and provide some awesome perks including the upgrades on airline tickets, access to the airport lounge, special discounts on flight tickets and more. So, if you happened to have a card that fall under the category, you should use the same for your next travel arrangements and save more while booking. Business Class Flight Sale Many travel agencies are now deeply connected with the airlines and get some spectacular fares that are rare to be found elsewhere. These fares are to give the travelers and potential patrons for better experience at discounted prices. Hence, these travel agencies and airlines prefer to send the notifications using the emails and the SMS. Subscribing these notifications will help you to keep an eye on the upcoming sales and discounted airfares which eventually will help you to fly business class at affordable prices. Traveling with Flexibility The flexible traveling plans are always helpful regardless of whether you are planning to fly in an economy, business class or first class flight. However, when it comes to business class travel, the parameters are simple and easy to understand. Booking business class flight tickets on weekend are always better as business travelers tend to use the weekends for their leisure only and reduce the demand of business class flights on weekends. Similarly, booking business class flights with less famous airlines will give you some great deals and offers. Also, if you plan on boarding your flight from a nearby and less used airport, you can score some great business class flight deals. The business class flight booking is now easier than you can think and with the proper way of booking, you can easily score some great discounts and book your premium class tickets without spending a good fortune. So, if you are well versed with the tricks and can grab the perfect opportunity http://fortyfiveplus.club/travel-business-class-at-economy-rate |

Politics › Re: Why I Will Not Welcome Buhari To Ekiti, By Fayose by emonkey(m): 8:38am On Jul 06, 2018 |
actiondrilling: Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has disclosed that he will not welcome President Muhammadu Buhari and his entourage to Ekiti on June 10, as requested in a letter to him.
He explained that the Federal Government under Buhari did not deem it fit to construct even a 100-meter road in the state since they came into office.
Fayose made the disclosure yesterday at a rally in Ado-Ekiti,
The governor expressed optimism that the party’s candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka, would be the governor-elect on July 14, adding that the president and his entourage would be disgraced in the state.
He said: “I am not going to receive the president. If they think that they can use the police to intimidate us, it is a lie.
This government is undemocratic, why did they close Akure Airport yesterday, when they knew that we would be receiving our party members.
“They have been arresting members of the PDP, but we will not be provoked. We will disgrace all of them on June 14.
If you vote for the APC, you are voting for Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen. But PDP believes in the sanctity of human lives.”
He said he was aware of plans by the INEC to rig the poll, adding that they will follow them anywhere they go, even as: “we are not interested in violence.
“When I saw the President of France, Emmanuel Macron and Nigeria President, I was ashamed. This country does not deserve an old man, we deserve the younger generations,” he said.
Party leaders at the rally said: “PDP has been rebranded and repositioned to gain the lost grounds. We will rescue Nigeria from all sorts of inhuman treatment meted out by the APC.

But the problem is that his family members are not in support of the marriage because the woman is a divorcee with 3 kids under the age of 10. The kids live with the woman.
The question is, is it wise for this man to marry this woman and take responsibility of the kids because the woman says her kids must be with her. Yes, if you are impotent and unable to father children of your own. |

Health › How To Cope With Anxiety Attacks by emonkey(op): 10:25am On Jul 05, 2018 |
We are more likely tohave more days full of anxiety as we get older. We worry about our health, about retirement, about our children and also adozens of things that are not even worth worrrying about. For some people it eventually gets out of hand. Anxiety attacks (or panic attacks) can strike unexpectedly. The lights may seem too bright; your heart feels like it might explode out of your chest. Your body shakes. You may find yourself unable to breathe; your chest hurts. You have an intense desire to escape, scream or cry. Your hands might twitch and you feel like you are going to be sick in just a few seconds. That’s what anxiety attack feels like. In fact, it feels like the worst thing in the world, but the truth is – it’s all caused by a massive boost of adrenaline that your brain sends into your bloodstream. Sometimes they come without a clear warning. Sometimes rather obvious things serve as triggers like giving a public talk or taking a job interview, trigger them. Sometimes an anxiety attack comes simply out of the blue – you just start feeling something is very wrong.
Anxiety Attack: The Most Common Symptoms
Insane, overwhelming strike of panic Hyperventilation Pulsating or nagging chest pain Shaking and trembling Troubled breathing and/or choking sensation Sweating Nausea and/or stomach cramps Dizziness, feeling faint or light headed. Accelerated heartbeat or heart palpitations Numbness, particularly in your feet and hands. Feeling detached and unreal. Basically, you feel like you are going crazy. Fearing you’re dying. An anxiety attack can roll in with most of the above or just a few symptoms, coming one after another or all at once.
The symptoms can last from a few seconds to a terrible half an hour, though the average number is 10 minutes – says, Doctor Merav Gur.
To learn to cope with an anxiety attack effectively, first you need to understand what exactly happens with your body and mind.
In a nutshell – an anxiety attack is an exaggeration of the arousal of your sympathetic nervous system.
Here’s a more detailed explanation for this:
Your brain focuses on some alleged thread, for instance, a very scary thought that was floating somewhere at your subconscious. Your thalamus – the part of the brain responsible for regulating consciousness, sleep and alertness – transfers that information to your amygdala – the part of the brain responsible for emotional reactions, decision-making and memory – which marks it as “danger” and sends a signal to your sympathetic nervous system, activating the fight-or-flight response.
At the same time, your brain decides to shoot an extra dose of adrenaline inside your blood system, thus triggering the initial panic attack symptoms like rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, sweating and blood pressure rise.
All of the above are the normal sympathetic responses, in the case that you were facing some real danger. But as in reality there’s no danger present, you start panicking as you fail to ascribe these symptoms to something particular and start believing things like – you are having a heart attack/severe allergic reaction or actually dying.
This huge mix of fear and panic make other symptoms to kick in and voila – a full-scale anxiety attack in action.
How to Cope with an Anxiety Attack
Let’s start with the immediate, quick hacks to help you freeze your anxiety attack once it kicks into your life. No matter how scared or helpless you feel at that moment, try to do the following things:
Do a Simple Stretch When you have an attack, your breath is too short and shallow, meaning it worsens further symptoms. Once you feel the panic – stand up and start doing some simple stretching. If you manage to squeeze in a yawn, that will help you tame the attack even faster. Stretching and yawning instantly helps you relieve muscle tension and interrupt the vicious cycle that is just about to roll in full strength.
Focus on your breathing. No need to master the art of meditation for this. Simply inhale for three counts and exhale for five. Repeat the exercise for as long as you need to.
Drink a glass of ice-cold water. To regulate your body’s temperature and reduce the escalating cycle of panic, slowly drink a glass of icy water. Take small sips and focus on every gulp you make. While drinking, imagine how your body and mind is cooling down.
Focus on using peripheral vision To activate your parasympathetic nervous system, use this simple meditation technique: focus your gaze on an imaginary point in front of you; relax your focus and use your peripheral vision, as if you are trying to take in everything around you with soft focus. It signals to your brain to relax. The more you practice this technique – the faster it will help you to relax in any situation.
Start moving Remember, your brain thinks you are facing danger and just gave you a massive shot of adrenaline. You now have to get rid of it. The best option is to walk it off. Go on a stroll to a park if possible, or simply get up and move around.
Face the Facts Now as you feel slightly calmer, you need to identify and face the roots of the anxiety attack. The truth is – there’s always a trigger for it. Even if it’s not obvious, it’s always there. Panic attacks can happen as a response to a stressful or traumatic issue that happened months ago. Try digging into your mind and thinking of the exact cue that might have caused it. Remember, an anxiety attack is just a host of physical reactions. No matter how real it feels, the danger is usually non-existent. http://fortyfiveplus.club/how-to-cope-with-anxiety-attack |
Health › Re: How To Prevent Back Pain by emonkey(op): 4:10pm On Jul 01, 2018 |
okwabayi: Why is the easiest, most effective solution not here? EXERCISE.
I have a friend who designed websites for near 18 hours daily. He had back pain and didn't know where it stemmed from. He had a health conscious acquaintance who exercised like an animal daily. He noticed this individual never complained of aches and pains of any sort.
My friend tried his hand at 20 pushups daily with bottles of beers at night to relieve any aches the exercise gave him. Guess what? His back aches became a distant memory and he unconsciously started giving himself stand breaks after every 30 minutes of sitting. It is right there. No 1 Take a break . Exercise |
Health › How To Prevent Back Pain by emonkey(op): 12:37pm On Jun 30, 2018 |
As we get older , we unconsciously tend to spend much of the day sitting. Back pain may be one of unfortunate consequences Is your lower back bothering you? If you’re struggling with back pain, you’re not alone. The vast majority of people are plagued by a bad back at one point or another in their lives, often repeatedly or long-term. But most of them don’t have to suffer. Read on for a few tips that may help alleviate your back pain, especially if you tend to sit too much. Your back takes quite a beating these days. We spend hours and hours sitting at work, then more hours sitting in cars and on the sofa. You’d think that conditions would have been far worse way back when people were performing “back-breaking” hard labor. And to a point that’s probably true. But still… don’t underestimate how hard it can be on your back to sit in front of a computer all day. Sitting in meetings or at a desk is not much better. I’m serious. Hours of sitting with no breaks, or very few breaks, can make anyone’s back give out. Even ergonomic chairs can only help so much. So here’s what you should do: 1) Take breaks That’s right. Take breaks from sitting. Get up and walk around for a few minutes at least once an hour. Make yourself a cup of coffee. Walk around your desk. Walk up and down a few flights of stairs. Go outside and walk around the parking lot or the building. If all fails, just pretend you have a weak bladder. Whatever it takes. 2) Handle phone calls standing up Find ways to do your job in any position other than sitting down. Whether you’re walking around, or even just standing up, your back will thank you. For example, there’s no need to stay glued to your chair while you’re making a phone call. A good quality speaker phone is a sound investment for lots of reasons, but your back health is certainly way up there. 3) Print out documents Okay, so printing things out may not be politically correct, what with the extra trees that have to die for your saving your back. Still, if you have to review lots of documents, request hard copies or print them out, and read them while standing up or walking around. 4) Lie down Lying down may not be possible in the office, but if you’re working from home, it works really well. You can take those printed-out documents and review them while lying down. One caveat though… don’t go to sleep! If that’s an issue, be sure to set an alarm clock to go off after your allotted reading time. Maybe even set two. 5) Lower your stress A lot of back trouble comes from stress. So if you want to relieve some of your back pain, work on decreasing your stress levels. There are lots of ways to do that, from making your life less stressful overall to taking good care of yourself so you’ll be more resilient to stress. Finally, you should also have an arsenal of stress busting tools at the ready to tame any stress as it’s happening. http://fortyfiveplus.club/relief-from-lower-back-pain |

Business › Re: What Would You Do With One Million Naira? by emonkey(m): 9:22pm On Jun 11, 2018 |
Kokaine: When asked what the problem is, an average Nigerian will say money! Money! Money!.
In my opinion, I feel the dearth of ideas is as great a challenge as the lack of money it self. While one person may need a grant of NGN100,000 to kick start a life, another person with 10million naira will still come online asking for ideas on how to invest it. Many a people I have met who 'happened' upon money and all they succeeded in doing was buy cars, buy a plot of land and boom! They went back to being broke.
Unfortunately for me, I find myself in the second category. The only business I know is alternative energy, I wish to diversify and involve myself in other forms of investments. Anything outside online businesses like bitcoin and what have you.
So I ask a simple question, and I believe many Nigerians will benefit from your responses here;
If you are given a million naira for free, what exactly would you invest it on? How long do you expect a turn over, and what risks and challenges would you encounter? 1 Million na money? Just take am chop life small and then return to your present hustle Bro. |

The typical Nollywood script has no dialogue. The artists do not have the capacity to memorise anything and therefore they improvise on dialogue as they go along. Very lazy and primitive. That is why a Nigerian artist will never have a place in the international film making scene. |
