Even specialist doctors often need to put heads together to determine how best to treat a patient and even then, they must first listen to the patient for his suggestions . Add Brake light switch to possibility. It caused a major recall . Same issue . Both lights on, loss of power.

My further research assures me this is a typical Sorento problem which comes out of box and may have nothing to do with brainbox. I was hoping for a mechanic who knows about Kia vehicles.

- Kia says the rev is not supposed to exceed 3000rpm while at standstill which is a preventive measure to avoid overrevving. This checks , so brainbox seems working fine. Since it is also sluggish while moving :
- The next culprit to check should be MAF sensor. Check Air Flow Sensor, the engine could be starved of air.
- Also next check fuel pressure . It must be 46 to 48 psi . If less, then the fuel pump needs changing.

I will have someone do these.

Sorry I am just seeing this.The only work done by my mechanic in the past 6 months was basic servicing which was done over a month ago. Just change oil and filters. It is a rarely used car . Does maimum of 50 km per week most of the year.

Diagnosis done again and readings for throttle pedal appear to be ok , yet the car has no acceleration. Rev counter remains below the 3 mark. Your man Timilehin, thinks it may be the brain box, which is of course a sealed unit. Do you think we are on the right track ? I would hate to throw even more money away chasing the wrong solution. Thanks for your help.

Quite true. And what percentage of those are ecommerce sites ? For user-friendliness I give top marks to Wordpress. It is a blogging CMS and does that quite well. For more muscular work however it ranks as a toy, I am afraid.

The Wordpress code is full of holes which makes the site vulnerable to hackers. I certainly won't think of using this script for a serious web app not to talk of an ecommerce app. Primarily your customers' data are not safe; probably not so serious a problem since (I hope) you will not be taking credit/debit card payment on your site. How many different skills are in the world/US ? Does he not have a plan, or idea of what he intends to go and do there? If he doesn't better for him to remain in Naija, or he go wash plate taya for Yankee , that is if he has no mission.

Seriously speaking, what will be his residence status when he gets to US - Green Card holder? What are his present qualifications? What are his hopes and dreams if he goes to US ? Just saying I want to live comfortably is not enough. He needs to be specific, otherwise nobody can help him.

Does anyone know someone who can genuinely fix my throttle problem ? It is a Kia Sorento 2008 and the scan brings out error P2138 . Google tells me it is related to the "Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch D/E Voltage Correlation". However I am advised just changing the item may not be advisable as the problem may only be with the wires for entire throttle system. Anyone who is sufficiently technical savvy and won't take an arm and a leg? I am based in Ibadan.

You have tried. But I personally wouldn't buy anything from a Wordpress blog, which is what you have there. Too insecure and unstable.
Try using Konga, Kaymu or Jumia for your actual order platform . That is neither a perfect solution anyway. Go with what rocks your world. Good luck.

Jalal, I bought a digital ink tablet online but found that d tablet driver CD was damaged due to the solidified stains caused by the leaking batteries that came with the tablets. I tried cleaning d corrosions on d CD with water. In short, d corrosion stains (caused by the batteries) made the CD 'unreadable' when I tried to install the tablet driver on my PC.

My question is:
How and where can I recover the data on d CD?
I reside in Lagos.

Try to Google to search for the device driver for your computer operating system . If you find it download and burn to CD. Having said this the CD will usually contain some other software like OCR and image editing which you may never need. Otherwise try and find out what is included and downlod them too. Good luck
