Ha! Empress what happened? You used to have a lovely darkened complexion coupled with your lovely big eyes...what happened na? |
Didn't really feel the Nigerian Anthem...but the birthday song was nice... |
I think I prefer @tolaaani's categories...some people give a new definition to religion when they are on this board but when they step out...all christian virtues are thrown to the winds...it boggers the mind and leaves you wondering...if you do this...go on different boards and become another person or even do it offline amongst certain friends and all that...then it's a pity; you are deceiving no one no matter how many categories you may claim to belong to. |
ifyalways: Lol.I most definitely do.Ha! You just reminded me of Pako flakes...cabin biscuit cut into pieces and then put into a plate of cold beverage...recipe only for boarders...what days! |
Classy is the word for it...great detailing and planning |
Eyen Eyen O...ami sanga sanga yem eyenorong o... Happy annniversary Akwa Ibom |
Ihedinobi: Note what he said to Daniel after worshipping him. That's where your answer is.No sir, because his recognition of Daniel's God would by as an extension have touched on Shedrach, Meshach and Abednago...but it didn't. And he would have proclaimed to everyone that Daniel was not going to bow. Now if he didn't proclaim, someone would have reported it and he would have had no choice than to cast him into the furnace just like he did as regards the lion's den... Thanks for your correction on the preceeding chapter thing...my thoughts were ahead of my fingers... I hope I don't come across as argumentative oh... |
trae_z: its people like u and i that put the info there. Nothing is new under the sun so next time before wasting peoples time spare some minutes to find out what research already exist on the matter. Its not rocket science Love. Thats why FAQs exist so little problems can be easily treated and precious time reserved for serious issues.Have you got a problem with me or not? Dicktator answered and I was satisfied...is there perhaps any other problem apart from this? And if I choose to come to Nairaland-an online forum to ask...as long as I didn't use your megabytes...then there should be no beef...and you were not obliged to answer |
The second and third picture....arrghhhhh! Imagine the rains in these parts...terrible! But still in the others, what stops the residents from doing something about their environment? The government doesn't live with you and won't be the one to catch all the dreadful diseases...so why not clear your surroundings... The local government crew from chairman to councillor need to be flogged...kai! |
Find out as much as you can about asthma...that will help you know about it. What she can and cannot take...In this case google is your friend...find out from her what kind her own is.... I had a friend whose own was chronic...when it happened, even his inhaler would not help |
Ay92: The king turned to an animal and not a mad manReally? Like literally turned? Hahahahaha |
Ihedinobi: Please see Daniel 2:46-49. I believe the answer is in there. I'll take any questions you have.Okay, I have seen Daniel 2: 46-49 and these are the important things I noted *That the king was very pleased with Daniel after the interpretation and worshipped him *He also made him ruler of all his province of Babylon *And the Chief of the governors over all the wise men *Daniel petitioned the king and the king set Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego over the affairs of the City *Daniel sat at the gate But then, it was in the preceeding chapter that the king built an image...and called all the rulers, governors, princes etc *Daniel was he a ruler or not? If he was a ruler, would he have been exempted? If he was not but sat at the king's gate, don't you think he would have stuck out like a sore thumb? Not bowing when others were? And to think that the other three were also mini-rulers... *Waiting for you to clear my confusion |
thor=aletheia] UPHARSIN and PERES are the same word in Chaldee (the language of Babylon). And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. (Dan 5:25) PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. (Dan 5:28) . . .in the Hebrew OT the word translated Upharsin and Peres is Strong's H6537: פּרס peras (per-as') (Chaldee); corresponding to H6536; to split up: - divide, [U-] pharsin. The confusion arises because the translators translated it as you see in English. You can easily confirm what I have written.[/quote]Thanks...I will definitely check this and get back to you |
trae_z: Next time you have such problems simple google the lyrics you remember, especially if it's a foreign song. Simple!I hear you...this wasn't foreign though... On an aside: we keep saying google as if it aint people that put the info there |
oko-oloyun:Custard tastes rubbery in my mouth and reminds me of canned mushroom...Lipton is it oh! Just the aroma that drifts from a hot mug can make me sigh with contentment |
DICKtator: His name is Dr. Alban.Thank you! But come oh, don't be sneaky...where did I announce that there'll be a prize or reward...ehn? |
tpia@:A pointer towards the verses where the answer is...would probably help; don't you think so? |
My sister and I were reminiscing and suddenly she started singing this song 'Guess who's coming too dinner Carolina...Carolina don run run all around...' We then remembered two of the man's songs 'I'll run through the fire because of you....' And 'I'm going back to my roots, born in Africa...cause I'm born in Africa...born in Africa' So, who can remember this artiste's name...? |
debosky: The mods are responsible I think - trying to promote the matchday threads over the club threads. They should be opened once the games are over.Oh? Thanks for the enlightening me |
Man U's thread is closed, same with Chelsea...why is that of Arsenal still open? |
thelastPope: I beg to differ a bit from the @op instructions and ingredients. It sounds too foreign. Fresh titus for this menu is just not right. Dry fish is it. Onions should be used with discretion. Most local women don't like using onions because onions kills the real native flavour in foods. Onions is good though for its medicinal value. Cooking everything from the begining is not just right too. The key to good flavour and blend in cooking is the timing of the ingredients. Introducing the crayfish and pepper too early means the plantain will take longer to cook and the internals will not cook right. The crayfish and pepper will immediately form a kind of soup and not allow the water to cook the plantain right. You sir, are a damn good cook...This is exactly how I cook mine...infact for delicacies, I have started using scent leaf instead of vegetables...a sprinkle of scent leaf does wonders to a meal. I agree timing is everything in cooking...if one adds everything at once especially with plantain, there is the likelyhood of that food not cooking properly and/or getting burnt. Cooking requires creativity...that's how I see it...one can eat unripe plantain with dried fish and scent leaf today and the next time decide to add yam and the next time add snail and periwinkle... |
The yellow pap is my fav...I prefer it to custard self. Although, I don't take it as much as I like to...but when I need to have my nerves relaxed, I take pap or lipton tea |
Boko Haram are definitely Boko Halal...13 Laptops, Satellite dishes, decoders, disc writers, hand held radios (Motorola)...what happened to scribbling on scrolls, using bird calls and lone messengers to get things done? |
trae_z: The card was probably swallowed cos the account was closed and it working would be an abnormality. The debit for Card Replacement Fee should not have been passed into your account as the account is supposedly closed. seems it's an IT issue...different platforms for different e-banking parts of your account and they didn't all properly synchronize.I took yamakuza's advice oh...went to the bank and went straight to their CC...everyone that I previously knew had been replaced...the man who gave me my pin too had been replaced. So, I laid my complaints and the lady smiled. She told me that in Zenith, a savings account didn't have a dormancy limitation...unlike their current account and that my account was definitely not closed and was not even considered dormant even if I came back a year later. Meanwhile, my new/retrieved ATM card was in their possession, so I paid in some money after much persuasion... *got my card and pin... *the first machine was down, the other had a pop-up dialog box blocking the screen... *tried changing and the machine swallowed the card AGAIN after telling me three times to put in my PIN... went back to the hall and complained... *my card was retrieved with the lady at the CC instructing me on how to change my pin... *I looked at her and calmly replied 'I know how to do all you have said...I have two other bank ATM cards, so I think the fault is from you guys' but she persisted that I tried again, I did and the problem was still same... *so instead of trying the third time, I simply took my card, put it in my card holder and went back to the office... wasted nearly four hours from complaint, to issuance, payment and pin change... *the card is with me with its non-active status...perhaps, it is for the better. |
OMG! This is funny...hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahhahahahahahhahahaha |

traceroute: Its really a big shame that mtn the pioneer 3g trailblazer is no more to be recognized.with their much ado of the fibre optic frenzy yet no speed.airtel from nowhere came like thunderbolt unleased their lightning speed 3.75g throttle.in uyo mtn network is 99% congestd 4 data usage except u get to aka itiam or nung udoe.etisalat has overtaken mtn.I am just wondering why MTN neglected Akwa Ibom like that...and I don't think they give us the unlimited data bundle package they give other states... |
This is my own assumption: The very first time the eight year old girl told the maid to kneel, the maid would probably have refused, leading the little girl to complain to her mother who would have given the maid a thorough beating, further instructing the maid to always obey her daughter whenever instructions of that nature or any kind for that matter was given...this of course has now led to this incident. I am saying this because I know that being a teenager, maid or not (naturally rebellion abides at this stage, even if it's a bit) and having to obey a girl that is not even close to puberty means that the maid's spirit has been broken and tamed (from so many beatings and punishment) and even her natural pride is no more... Sheer wickedness...when you breed children, who have no regard for others...you only have to wait for the time when they will have no regard for you too or your instructions... |
Watch out for your tenses but this is lovely...I can feel the intensity and sorrow beneath the words...Bravo! |
He looks a little like Barca's Alex Song |
