FamilyRe: Candid Advice Needed by Enoquin(f): 7:37pm On Aug 04, 2012
Did he approve of your relocating to stay with him?
What was your relationship like before you moved down?
What kind of job does he do?
When you were working, did he ever send you money?
What did you guys talk about in 4 years up to the point of you saying you agree to spend your whole life with him and up to the point of your introduction?
How did you meet?
What and how did you tell him when you say you spoke maturedly with him?
What kind of man is he...sensitive; too sensitive or aggressive?
Is he the first born child or only child?
Who took care of his apartment when he was staying alone?
Are you looking for a job even while you are there?

Ask yourself these questions and answer honestly then perhaps you might find your answer or come close to deciphering your problem

FoodRe: Do Nigerians Eat Mushroom? by Enoquin(f): 1:11pm On Aug 04, 2012
dominique: i so much dislike the canned mushrooms, i dont know how else i can apply it in cooking. i have a feeling the fresh ones will taste nothing like those disgusting canned onesl-if only they're available in lagos markets.
The fresh taste nothing like the canned one. The fresh has a meaty feeling when chewed as opposed to the rubbery feeling of the canned one. However, I am yet to see it in the market even here in Uyo. I eat it when I go to the villa and like the snails..this is the season...
FoodRe: Nigerian Vegetarians i.e. Vegetarians In Nigeria by Enoquin(f): 1:04pm On Aug 04, 2012
Are sea foods excluded or included in a vegetarian's diet? I ask this because Nigerian Vegetarians can never be true vegetarians...except no crayfish is used in cooking their meals and what of when you go for parties and then eat the rice either fried or jollof served? Remember that the stock would have been added to the rice, is that not akin to eating the meat/chicken even though no physical chewing is done...that also means no cake even for the young'uns...

Someone dropped by my office in ecstasy showing me a text message that was sent from 'MTN'. The text goes thus:

LOADED
Y'ello!! Your Number Have Been Credited 50,000 Naira AIRTIME. On The Cards Reward. Your Code Is 3232 For Your Line To Be Loaded Now Login To www.mtndom.org

I could not help laughing...Notice that each letter starting a word is capitalized; their other mistake was putting 'dom' beside 'mtn'...I only felt bad deflating the poor guy's joy...
Free airtime ko, Free recharge ni...MTN and their 'stingy kokoness' will not dash you any airtime, so beware...
FoodRe: I Dont Know How To Cook by Enoquin(f): 6:49pm On Jul 29, 2012
dasparrow: I don't understand what you mean. What has virginity got to do with not knowing how to cook? Those females who are not virgins, do they spend most of their time having /s.e/x and cooking? How many minutes does love making take anyways? No more than 30 minutes max. There are so many other important things that may occupy people's time outside of intercourse and cooking such as being a college student, having a hectic yet rewarding job, travelling around the world and learning new languages and cultures, etc. So Onila being a virgin and not knowing how to cook is nothing out of the ordinary.

@Post

Onila, just have your mom teach you how to cook. Cooking isn't that difficult to learn.
If you totally misunderstood my post then there's nothing I can do about it. I responded to the OP's post where she said she had everything... She doesn't have an interest in cooking if she did, she would have learnt.
And it's funny that you only quoted one part of my post what of where I said I could not envision girls not knowing how to cook (I am pretty sure I was refering to all females and not just virgins) but since you think I am wrong, again I would ask...what does she a virgin think of? What do you think her husband would like more...an intact hymen with stones for food or an intact hymen with steaming delicious meals and all the above mentioned qualities?

PoliticsRe: Gbajagate: Gbajabiamila Finally Owns Up To Financial Misconduct by Enoquin(f): 8:13pm On Jul 26, 2012
The pro GEJ and the anti GEJ squad are so alike in many ways...they both rush to defend any antics of whomever they support, in 'thiefery', in corruption and in good tidings.
This leaves us that don't really care somewhat stuck in the middle because whatever side we lean to suddenly a name gets ascribed to us.
Yes, if the man has come out to explain how 'bad' he was...who are we to cast stones? How many house of rep members are honest beings that are out for the interest of Nigerians?
I am not impressed because I feel there's an ulterior motive but I like the effort nevertheless.IMO
Anything that will make the presidency sit up is good...anything that brings progress to Nigeria and Nigerians is better and anything that will make us a force to be reckoned with is the best.

oladee9: Dear all, check out the new 'Tango with Me’ trailer on link below, all comments are welcome. The film will be released across UK cinemas from 24th August, 2012.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FzZFyB_VWs
This trailer doesn't want to make me watch the movie. I am saying this because a Kenyan friend of mine sent me a trailer for one of their series and it left me quite ashamed. The trailer was 'Behind' and professionally done. It was too clean and I liked it at once something that rarely happens. Those people are taking their time to do their movies and we are here still battling with Alaba! (No offense)

Somzie: Ain't you sick of watching those low quality, copy-and-paste and playtime movie trailers with wack commentators? I mean, the ones that make our country look like we're still trapped in 1992.

Its time to evolve. We need international-standard movie trailers. Trailers worthy of cinema viewing. One made here at home by well-read professionals at good rates without having to travel abroad to get professional editing done.

Well, i'm delighted to offer just that to Movie Industry Professionals. are ready to change the world of video by being the 1st to set the trend? If you've just made a movie and intend capturing your audience with a suave and enticing moving image presentation, contact me on

Okontami: @ Poster and All: You guys need a little more exposure. That is how all invitation letters from SSS, EFCC or Security agencies are written. I have been invited by these outfits twice and the same words were used un edited. They will maintain that you are the one to interview them. I rejected the EFCC letter in 2010 and they sent me a reminder stating the same statement. Guys get close to any law enforcement agency and you will know that that is the correct syntax in their discipline. No body should try to argue with me blindly.
This is enlightening and interesting.

FoodRe: Ukpo Oka (corn Pudding) Recipe. With Pictures. by Enoquin(f): 9:56am On Jul 23, 2012
PrettyCindy: @enoquin, please share your recipe with me. I like to try out new recipes. Thanks.
Well, it's partially the same as yours. Only we don't put it in leaves and wrap.
Ingredients:
Ground corn
Crayfish
Pepper
Oil
Seasoning
Pumpkin leaf
A little of scent leaf
Dry fish

Recipe:
Pour water into a pot...not too much (like a little bowl)
Put in your shredded, washed dry fish and let it steam
Add crayfish, pepper, salt and seasoning
Allow the water to boil, then pour in your ground corn.
The first few minutes will have the corn looking rubbery...just like when you cook diced unripe plantain...(that rubbery look before it solidifies) and then later it starts to solidify...
Use a ladle to turn
Add oil (the corn soaks the oil)
Turn with your ladle
Add your pumpkin and a sprinkle of scent leaf
Turn
Bring it down (it burns fast, if care is not taken)
Serve with your boiled yam.

Note: Two slices of boiled yam with a spoon of corn porridge is filling.

I wish I could upload the picture but it's more than 200kb...and I have tried to manipulate the picture's property but cannot

Can you use a Nigerian Driver's License in America? Or can you use a UK's driver's license in America?
If you are going to stay for a month, better don't drive or risk it and drive...if caught you are on your own!
PoliticsRe: Tanker Crash: Nigerians Again Rush For Fuel A Week After More Than 100 Died by Enoquin(f): 5:32pm On Jul 22, 2012
virtuoso01: I am too matured to be trading insults with you. You said yourself that what makes the Port Harcourt incident unique was that "Almost a hundred people with the intention of siphoning fuel were roasted alive".

I gave you several instances were several more hundreds with the intention of siphoning fuel were roasted alive. All of them publicised in our news media.

So why are you displaying to the world how ignorant you are?
I think you should forget trying. She will believe whatever she wants to.
PoliticsRe: Tanker Crash: Nigerians Again Rush For Fuel A Week After More Than 100 Died by Enoquin(f): 8:36pm On Jul 21, 2012
Kobojunkie: Like I said . . .

This is not the first time I have considered the matter of information dissemination in Nigeria. I don't believe word of mouth is as effective as you make it out to be, and I certainly do not believe everyone who has a radio has it turned on out there. For pete's sake I used to live in that same Nigeria. The same Nigeria where even Fela himself, with all his word of mouth, could not get people to see the truth of what he was saying. Not until some of us actually got access to all the information where we able to realize what the man had been saying all the while.
Back when I stayed full-time in Nigeria, we never really used our battery-powered radio much because we just never did. And word of mouth for source of information? I can't even remember getting any reliable news from anyone back then.
'Used to' is the operational word I believe. I am sure you stayed in Lagos or Abuja. I have lived in Lagos almost all my life and I used to think that the people living in the south south and others were living in the stone age...I have been proven wrong.
I am no more in Lagos (at least for now), I can only talk on what I see...and all I have said is what I have seen and observed. I have been to the village too and I have seen that although they may live different lives, they are not cut off from the world as we might like to believe...
BTW I don't even own a radio...

FoodWhat Fresh Veggies Give You The Weakness? by Enoquin(op): 1:42pm On Jul 21, 2012
For me, I usually get a weakness for fresh yellow pepper and green pepper (not the big green ones oh), red pepper, tomatoes, scent leaves and carrots. It is worse for the peppers and the scent leaves because when I go to the market, I cannot resist the fresh pepper especially the yellow ones... I just have to buy them and sometimes they end up getting spoilt after I might have kept them for too long.
For the scent leaves, I usually slice and dry them or fry them (for scent leaf sauce) after pounding and store in the fridge.

It's funny when a virgin claims not to know how to cook? (No offense intended)...what do you do with your time? I still find it hard to visualise the imagery when some girls say they don't know how to cook...I guess you don't have the interest...else you would have learnt
