I think I understand what happened. He is frustrated with the situation but I didn't want to attack him so he does not consider suicide. I only pray it's well with him. I hope his situation gets better.

I will quit immediately. A lady I know married a guy, hired caterers, hall and all that is needed for a big ceremony. They married last year August and was homeless February this year. The car he claimed he owns is on hire purchase. As I type this they are living with her elder sister (she is even pregnant). So lying about job is a big turnoff to me.

I saw an advert recently for a farm manager. Search the job section or use Google you will see some you can apply to.

You could have just made it simpler by saying indifferent disappointed or happy. Anyway we all hoping for the 3 points. But would be disappointed if they come dominate and take away the 3 points at the end. But if we were to be the better team and they won it somehow either through set piece or deflection and we had good attempts I will be satisfied with the performance and know that we can always get better. Under SAF we didn't even need to win the big boys to win the epl. Picking up maximum points from the smaller teams can guarantee one the league.

Nobody is saying two years is okay, that's the system nobody likes to deal with, the Bureaucracy is too much, that still don't warrant anyone to break it, moreover you and I don't know how long the notice has been given, I remember tinubu's government ( don't like that man though )bringing out eviction notice issued 8 years before demolishing npa slum (behind barbeach ), the people living there during the demolition knew nothing about the warning but those who were their 8 year prior knew.

Like I said, government does not use proper information channels, just one radio warning is enough to shut up anybody who claims ignorant.

I don't like the way this government operates and like you said it's nonsense, but how to stop it is not by ranting online, perfect your documents , or be an activist to change it that's how other countries became great, people die for it to happen .

You took sides in your post I quoted. You made it look like waiting 2 years for a permit is nothing. That was my challenge with your post. Anyway we know how it's supposed to be and if getting a permit is not strenuous will people make the mistake of building illegal structures? No! If I get a yes or no reply after 2 weeks or so I know my fate immediately. Not leaving me hanging for 2+ years because you're the law. It's unfair.

We Nigerians think we are smart about everything, if Lagos state government should do their job 50% of houses you think are legal would be brought down.

After 2 years of purchasing a piece of land a friend have continued to build temporary buildings on the land and still waiting for his papers to perfect before he starts a full construction, and according to him he will wait no matter how long it takes.

His friends who have properties around his area have already built and moved into government lands, ( government acquisition) mocking him thinking he does not have money to build. Wisdom is really scarce.

But let me not forget to say that lagos state is not doing a good job about educating the public when it comes to regional planning at all.

2 years waiting and you think that's okay? So government can take 2+ years to issue permit but don't have the patience of waiting to demolish buildings? If they can waste 2+ years issuing permit then they should be able to wait 5 years before demolishing. Arrant nonsense
