Jejelaye01: I remember seeing this particular post which says '".. A thousand SoP will never be able to drive any relationship between Economics and Human Resources Mgt. I've sounded this severally.... be careful about your choice of programs!!!... These things may only work in places like UK but not Canada!!!.... Guys, choose rightly plsssssss!!!!!"
I am here to tell my story that the battle is not for the strong neither is the race for the swift but for the Lord that showeth mercy. Using this to encourage someone on here that your case is different, and you can break protocols if you believe. I give God all the glory. Congrats bro, your story really encourage me personally and I thank God for your victory. @bold I remember that particular post and the moniker behind it. He will surely see the outcome and please dont see his post as a means of discouraging you, he only adviced you based on what we do see on the thread on similar cases as applied to u. as u rightly said your case is different congrats once again!!! |

Ether4: Hello, someone please help me to analyze my profile. I am currently an undergraduate(final year) studying naval transport/ engineering, cgpa about 4.3/5. I applied for masters in ocean and naval architectural engineering at mun. Even though I was contacted by a supervisor, I couldn't accept because He only wanted a student urgently for May admission but I'm yet to graduate (July)I . I was really anxious to know about the admission results so I contacted the office and I was told that I wasn't admitted (unofficially though a letter has been mailed to my address)so I don't know the reason yet.so I requested for a transfer to a professional diploma in technology in naval architecture in the same school do you think I stand a chance to get the TRV? I think u do stand a chance bearing in mind the correlation of ur proposed course of study and ur present study. U are still very fresh so a diploma will still fly for u with accordance of d above stated. |

House, kindly vet. bro if you dont apply alone you risk your app a refusal from the VO on not less than 3-4 grounds. from your financial analysis here base on what you posted, it cant fly for your entire family going with you at once, just as a moniker listed the kind of refusal reasons you risk ur app in the above posted. lets not do a gamble with TRV, bro do the needful by first applying alone and when you get yours then you can apply for them, that's d easiest way out of this as far as i know. this economy no make sense to dey dash VFS your hard earn money biko. |

Genius000: You don't need to be scared when you are doing what is right.
U.S. VOs are on Nairaland and genuine students still get their Visas daily.
This is not the only open source of information on Canada you can Google "Canadavisa"
A WhatsApp group will defeat the purpose of information sharing. Many will only come in when they need help and get out when they are fed.
WhatsApp also has a limit on members. "It has a maximum number that can be in a group".
It takes teamwork to unlock potential.
We achieve great things here because of our togetherness.
In conclusion; I am strongly against your opinion but I respect it Seconded, VO here or not doesn't not stop people from getting their TRV, but going on whatsapp would derail d purpose of this thread. As Genius00 said NL is just one of those numerous sources of info about Canada study permit. I do respect ur opinion but let us keep it here. God bless us all. |

ARCHITECTs: @ vanod, using CAC docs must be well tailored to your situation and the company SOA is well run and funded. For example, i only used my funded corporate SOA, reference letter stating I'm the SOLE signatory & CAC docs as home tie in addition to having a viable " architectural business" in country of residence. However, I NEVER declared my business resources to fund my study instead i used my mum and sis as co-sponsors. What works for applicant A might be detrimental to applicant B. So be strategic about it and think through it. Put yourself into the VO position and be truthful to yourself. God will favour you. I like d concept of ur application, I always tell people not to use a company's account as the source of money to pay ur fees via ur sponsor. In ur own case u used ur mum & sister whose acc is not a company's acc. Personal account statement is best sell out to this VO. I remember vividly one moniker that was refused on dis thread, that used his sponsor SOA, even though d Acc looks good but dis VO gats to be considering the dependants on that account as per salaries of employees and lots. I was shocked when d GCMS came out and all that was pointed out. Abeg wetin concern dem with all dat ? U rightly said it. It's somewhat better go give CAC doc of a sponsor den let d sponsor give his/her own personal acc and not that of d company that is rested on so many things. |

Please how should my response look like cos I really want to studdy supply chain mgt but can't do masters direct cos I had a 2.2 in my undergraduate. I expect u guys to start advising me on whether to do upfront medicals, online application, cos I know fit give them my passport for such a long time again o...assist. Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Eraytee: 8:47am On Mar 02, 2017 |
justwise: This is misleading. what u quoted was not what happened, am not saying any1 should apply for trv with zero balance, different folks with different strokes, all applicants case is different. for example if I pay my full tuition for a year, my case is different from som1 that paid just $200CAD deposit, the way a VO would evaluate our SOA is definitely going to be different. paying a yr tuition has lifted a lot of burden on ur SOA compared to som1 that has not paid anyth. so in context of the moniker he paid a semester and showed a good source of income from the sponsor, his not sponsoring himself. so i think u should go back to d root before concluding. cox in the context of the moniker wt 1k balance, his case is different so no one is saying go ahead and apply with zero balance. am off this ish. |

Austinpee4: If there is no pressing need for it, you can leave it, but if you choose to withdraw the cash, make sure at the end,it somehow will still be available for your studies like you've claimed.
Officers will first determine if the available balance of the SOA you submitted will be sufficient enough to pay your tuition and maintain you for atleast 1year while also paying attention to how the balance was accumulated and consistency in flow of funds. All these will be assesed in the one they have and they will expect that the money should still be available for your study. I don't want to encourage you to withdraw money there because those folks can be funny. I was asked to pay my tuition fees after 10weeks of applying and show evidence. Meaning they expect the money to be there like one claims. I think the moniker should be prepared to pay the tuition fees as it applies to the bold at anytime if such surfaced for him or her. Ur inflow plays alot more than your balance. No VO can see beyond d last date on ur SOA. They know u can submit a fat balance today and withdraw tomorrow. Inflow and outflow over time is what matter most. @MichV can bear witness to the guy that got TRV in Just 20days with 1k bal in his account. U can go back to the beginning part of this part 12 to confirm it. There is no harm if u withdraw after printing ur SOA...100% certain of this. but one should be prepared to pay tuition fees incase the bold applies. |

penitential: You have to elaborate very well. Who's your sponsor, hope what you're going for is a branch of your UG program? As regard home ties, the fact that you're not employed does not mean anything. Personal assets will likely not work against you. Also hope you have siblings, parents,...does your dad have landed properties that you can lay claim to? Does any of your parent have registered company?.....the most important part of home ties is your parents and siblings. U might b correct as per d case of the moniker in question. But d best primary home-tie is ur immediate family (wife and kids). Others are secondary |
