hmmmmm, i know how you feel but dont cancel your application, we av seen pple who got approved after 6 months. exercise that patience till the end. it will end inpraise

bro no one tenders SOA at POE. all u need is ur approval letter, and ur TRV

MORNING PALS......Soneone applied for Visa for may intake with SOA of #9 million in his personal account as self sponsor and now there is a veryurgent and very important issue in the family and he will need to withdraw #4m from d account...
1)please whats the chance of he getting TRV.........
2) Will embassy also call his bank?

VO cant see beyond the date that is on your SOA. no one would disclose any info beyond what you submitted (i mean from the bank). so lets say he submitted last month, VO cant b asking about anything about that acc from this month, their inquiry cant go beyond d stated date on the SOA. he shud go ahead and do what he needs to do.

bro don't you know i can hold your money for 2months and trade with it with a financial institution and then get interest in return and give you back your money while i delayed you. i presume it is what these schools in canada do. why will refund take 2-3 months? this is the question i asked my school and they were beating round the bush saying this period is peak period.so i was like account/finance dept follow dey feel the peak/busy period. that's nonsense!

I love conestoga college, it took them just 6wks to refund my tuition fees. i was initially told it wud take up to 8wks but it took 6wks to get back the money.

Dude this is incorrect. Balance matters a lot, inflows and outflows without enough balance to pay your fees and maintenance in Canada makes no sense.

Am I still wrong too after paying your tuition fees in advance or fully paid for it. @justwise i av seen people approved with less than 1M but paid a semester or a yr tuition fees. It's wot i kno i'll post here not an assumption. God bless

What most of us here dont understand about acc statement is, its not the balance that really matters. if u have 20m as balance today and u submit ur app to cic today, cic cant get beyond the date on ur SOA. so invariably u can withdraw ur 20m a day after submission and no one wud know. what am trying to clarify is, your inflow and outflow is what matters, most times i see people denied on this thread, they av more than sufficient balance. am not surprised at all at d moniker who got approved with less than 1m balance, have seen and i know at least 3-4 applicants presently in canada with same scenario. 2 even happened to b this yr and they are both pgc applicants. all you need is put forward a convincing application and seek Gods grace. thats all. I wish all TRV hopefuls success in their applications.

Please i need your comments. My admission was deferred till fall 2017 because my application was refused. Is it advisable to send another application in November for a program that is scheduled for August 2017, My friend in Canada has advised that i wait till next year becos sending an early application might probably work against me and attract a reason for refusal. Whats your opinion pls....

I will advice u to chill till February before reapplying for TRV, ur friend was right. my opinion though.

in most cases, when u get medical call, its usually ends in giving trv. but for upfront medicals its never a guaranty that they wud give u trv bcox before u are called for medicals, it means you av satisfied the VO's with your app.

Stop criticising using an agent, they don't force any applicant.I think you go to them yourself.
But, I have observed few things.
Using an expert will advise you on the followings.
Never apply for PGD, PGC, ordinary diploma if your age is above 24.
Ask why?
On the cic form, there is no space for pgd, only what u view is diploma, which is lower to bsc.
2, using an expert will advice u not to apply for Canada visa if u ve an hnd, because u can't get a masters admission, u rather apply for Pgc, Pgd which eventually lead to refusal.
3. An expert will view ur profile and advice u dat tuition deposit is not part of criteria they used in granting trv, and also assist u in writing a strong SOP.
it's unfortunate that most agent dont know all this.
I keep telling people, not everyone is qualified to apply for trv, screen urself before u apply, because visa fee is non refundable.

the problem we have here is that we channel all our opinion to what we see here. please where is the link that says when you are above 24yrs you cant get a trv with pgd/pgc admission? its a big lie. this year alone i got 3 friends that travel to canada with pgc/pdg admissions. non of dem is less than 29yrs. its unfortunate non of them also is part of this thread would av mentioned them. pls, lets not scare people with wot we see only on this thread, the fact that we see more msc/phd applicants getting trv on this thread is not denotative that pdg/pgc cant get trv. all that matters is put forward a convincing app n if the trv is gonna be urs then u'll get it. the funny thing is that my 3 friends dont even have the big sum of money i do see on this thread. What i just observed is that if you are above 25yrs and u r married with a pgd/pgc admission, u av a better chance than the single ones. the 3 friends i sited were all married. this is just my opinion dou. It still working, u just have to put forward a very convincing application, a friend of mine got approved last week wt pgd admsn.

Also, hope your SOP explained clearly your intentions, especially after studying? Because I am still trying to wrap my head round the 'purpose of visit and personal assets' reason after you have paid full tuition.

Am a geotechnician and also a project manager whr I work with 6yrs work experience. I got d project manager position 2yrs ago n I need a certificate in project management wch made me apply for project management (pgc). I wrote a detailed SOP as regards my pursuit for the program. No biggy anyways. We go refire noni.

My application was refused:
Applied: 21st of June
Refusal Mail:19th of September
Program start date: 6th September
Paid full tuition of $14100 CAD

Conestoga college.(pgc)

Reasons: purpose of visit and personal assets

We thank God for everything. We will refire after receiving GCMS files.
I wish all other TRV hopefuls all d best.
For me I won't give up my dreams.

Please I just humbly need a lil clarification. I submitted my application, paper route on the 30th August. Decided to link it online today, 18th Sept. And I noticed on the online platform, after successfully linking, it shows today 18th September as date submitted. Please, does it mean I have to start counting from today or it's still from the 30th August I submitted?

Ur counting starts from 30th August, u only submitted online on 18th September. That's d day it goes.

Although no mail from from CIC Accra but after reading through peoples post on denial spree, I logged on to my CIC account (linked paper application) and my status read closed and this application has been refused. My concern is that no denial reason(s) was displayed. So devastated and can't believe it yet. Anyone with same issue?

Open it on ur laptop there must b a reason(s).

Hello miss, does it mean its not compulsory to submit one's int'l passport with other document at first when all documents are submitted?

Hers is online route so u won't submit until they request for it.

Please, what does the affidavit of sponsor contains?

its a write up that contains all docs(including landed properties if any), relationship, amount of cash available for ur study and every other supporting doc from ur sponsor. its usually Notarized in court by d sponsor. VOs respect legal tenders (notarized copy).

in case of next time if I am using my dad but due to insufficient funds , I decide to introduce a co-sponsor,do I need to get affidavit for both of them or only for my Dad.

irrespective of who is sponsoring u, an affidavit of sponsor is a legal tender which serves as a bind btw u and ur sponsor. it helps the authenticity of ur sponsor

but i am using a 3rd party sponsor and i only submitted her bank statement and sponsorship letter could that be the reason for the denial.

Incase of next time try and get an affidavit of sponsor.

Guys, do I need to write any letter to the school stating my reason for not resuming this month?...My Offer letter has it that I can resume by sept 7 2016 or Jan 6 2017, did my biometrics on the 17th of August 2016, I'm yet to get any response from CIC.

Most times this is the case, but there are always exceptions to the rule and this is where the God factor come in, MichV calls it luck but in truth it is God that makes the different but it does not mean those that pray most enjoy this miracle or those who do not have not prayed but God decide to intervene based on many factors which include prayer and some of the factors mentioned by michV like God purpose and plan and the like. However You must do you best it you want God to help you as they say heavens help only those that help themselves
