hopefulLandlord:
no you weren't! You were just someone who's "faith waxed cold" for some moments and later reawakened it then started labelling those moments your moments of atheism. Stop lying!!

You were never like me ever. You were always religious to varying degree but even at your least religious moment of your life you still believed in imaginary friend

If that makes you feel good, no wahala.
Can you now address the other parts of my message.
Religion / Re: Who Are 24 Elders In Heaven According To Bible? by ERCROSS(m): 9:54am On Feb 18
hopefulLandlord:
The idea of heaven is so stupid I wonder how people believe it lol
The Bible doesn't say much about what heaven is supposed to be like. Most of the claims about heaven are exaggerations of the Bible. The Bible says the Gates are made of pearl. What are the gates for? Are they made just as an excuse to irritate clams? Are the gates supposed to keep someone out or to keep souls from escaping?

it also says the streets are paved with gold but the only reason we actually like gold so much and we attach such values to it is because they are rare and difficult to extract. Gold is malleable and can be formed as needed for use in, among others, electronics, dentistry, medical tools, and the defense, aerospace, and automotive industries. Gold is durable and noncorrosive. However gold shouldn't be valuable at all in heaven unless we'd still need to use gold for those things in heaven too which actually makes heaven just another version of earth

The sales pitch for heaven is that there is only happiness and no sorrow. But it also says that many people's loved ones won't be there. Since they can't feel sorrow about that, are they ecstatic that their loved ones are being tortured forever? Either your memories are removed or your human empathy is removed. Is it really you that is left over once some parts of you have been removed?

If life matters to me now, it will always have mattered to me, even when I am gone. Death cannot change that.

Your best hope is to be locked in a gold cage with your memories of having an actual life being erased just so you can kiss ass for eternity.

Life is pleasant, death is serene. The transition might be troublesome but we all have to go through it. You shouldn't fear death so much. Heaven and hell are imaginary. You should reject the indoctrination. Life is much better that way.

To quote a friend: "Heaven's supposed to be this really great place, right? So how come a third of the angels got pissed off??"

My fellow atheist, it's wisdom to question things if they don't make sense. Been there, done that.

But I quitted atheism when I realize that spirituality is real and science has not been able to take us into this dimension.
The same way the behavior of particles in the quantum dimension deviates from the norm we are used to, so also, the laws and working of the spiritual realm would most likely not conform to our expectations.

Till science is able to give us a sneak-peak into the spiritual world, your questions may not prove much helpful for your spiritual being

https://www.nairaland.com/7833825/want-divorce-live-alone

https://www.nairaland.com/7842384/peace-ultimate-target-happy

The peace above only lasted for a week, then it done on me that this woman will never change, reading through comments on Nairaland shows that is a place to have fun not for some serious issues, but as the matter na here i start am, i say make i update una grin.

So finally i left my wife and took my three kids away from her and she may never see them until they are 20yrs, women should know that, is a man's world no matter what you try to do, the Nigerian society is program to favour the men, from law to traditional institutions.

Now, i found my self in the hand hand of a beautiful single mother of 1, 35yrs same with my wife and Halas, she is over the moon, she self na man pursue am last year November, her marriage lasted just 7yrs and guess what? she could not speak to her kid since then till now, is a man's world.

I am very careful but i know say no be pikin carry me go there, i am currently on drugs i cannot impregnate woman, but guess what>

Most of you suggested coz i couldn't satisfy my wife in the OZA room that could be the reason why she is misbehaving despite all i have done for her and still doing, naaaa, sex is from the heart, i barely last 20mins with my wife and struggle to go two round, the same me last Saturday i was almost killing somebody's daughter and person former wife grin.

Some of you requested i increase her monthly upkeep, i did, but for where, i just discovers she is not my kind of person and no match for my lifestyle, She has to look for another man to marry or remain single and f*ck around if she so wish.

The simple lesson here is that, both women are now carrying the Tag, DIVORCED WOMEN, while me as the man can still settled for a baby girl of 21yrs but God forbid, their ogbanje too much grin.....Married women should learn to do what your husband want, no juju pass that one, especially if the man is responsible and taking care of his responsibilities.

Adura ni ti gba....if you don't know me you can judge me.

What drug are you taking to prevent pregnancy? Please, quote me when you drop it

Family / Re: Single Mother/single Father Which Is Better In Bringing Up Responsible Children by ERCROSS(m): 9:27am On Dec 02, 2023
Kobojunkie:
ERCross, as far as families in the USA, there is no established data that suggests children raised by single fathers turn out better than those raised by single mothers. undecided
...
Also, be aware that this report applies to fathers in America and not Nigerian single mothers and single fathers alone. undecided

Based on personal experience and intuition, I'd say a single father is more likely to raise responsible children than a single mother due to the following reasons:

1. Masculinity and Teenagers: The teenage is one of the most critical period of a child's life when it comes to shaping the child. I can say a child that would turn out to be irresponsible would most likely start this lifestyle during their teenage. The presence of a responsible masculine figure in their life would go a long way in correcting a wayward child as men are more aggressive, dominant, and less emotional

Kobojunkie:
Most single Nigerian mothers do not have the child on a part-time basis — shared custody—, right? So, how many single —unattached— Nigerian fathers are out there compared to single mothers? undecided

Right, the statistical data may be skewed because there might not be enough unbiased-sample/population to represent the fulltime fathers.
I've come across only one fulltime father and more than 10 full time mothers. So I'd say the ratio is about 95% (fulltime mother) : 5% (fulltime fathers), based on my encounters in Nigeria

Scientific theories are testable and repeatable. Your karma idea is not. undecided

Yes, you're right. Karma is abstract. It's not meant to be testable and repeatable using scientific methods.

And because humans are sometimes unpredictable and radical, such tests (if possible) would produce different results each time it's conducted.
