Image123: Not defending the price of medicine or happy with it, but anyone who knows the UK can't use it as an example in this case. "The taxpayer-funded National Health Service, which provides free health care to more than 64 million people, is the main buyer of pharmaceutical products in the U.K. That means it can use its purchasing power to negotiate with drug companies to get lower prices."
you are still missing the point, Medicine are not manufactured by the NHS so this does n ot interfere with pricing of medication, Panadol is and off the shelf medicine meaning you can buy them yourself, however if you are not receiving Benefit and working full time you are not entitled to free medication as all you get from your doctor is prescription and you go buy your medicine yourself with your own cash. Some of us in Nigeria think the UK is just a land of free free free,No you pay for your own medicine if you are in ful time Employment. Now that you know this how does the taxpayer fund Drug manufacturing?
plaindealer: Drug prices increased above the inflation rate all over the world, but you don't think it should be increased in Nigeria.
Do you people really think Nigeria is above or immune to global inflation and price increases?
I bet you want the government to subsidize that too,,
Jokers,,
We always have those who defend this economy however worse it gets. For that past 20 years Paracetamol can still be bought in the Uk for less than £3 per pack over the counter, Inflation nor reach here?

Beremx: I'm currently using WiFi to browse the internet. I noticed my data isn't going any longer despite having up to 5gig. I can't make calls but can receive. I tried to call MTN and I was told I'm barred from making calls because I don't have service. I used my husband's phone to call MTN customer service and I was told the fault isn't from my end. I was told to remove my sim card and put it back yet the problem persisted.
I visited MTN twitter page only to find out there are others with similar problems. No response yet from MTN despite the complains.

Cooolme: Greetings everyone, I've been driving for over a year now and I've noticed we don't know how to use headlights in this country even my friend that visited from the US complained same thing. I don't know if it's selfishness or what but how will someone be on very high beam even when opposite an incoming vehicle, I almost entered a ditch because an SUV beamed on my small Corolla to the point I couldn't even see properly, are there rules set for all these in this country? God's willing if I don't leave this country within the next 2 years I'm getting a bigger vehicle and I will purposely install massive led lights I will be counter beaming people till they notice their mistake.
If everyone puts thier lights on Auto problem solved. I put mine on Auto, once there is no car coming and its dark tull beam comes on, once there is a car coming it Automatically deeps. In some countries to drive with full beam is a traffic violation.

Soludo Finally Demolishes Olulu Eke Deity in Ekwulobia(Video)
The Anambra State Government has successfully demolished the popular "Olulu Eke Deity" in Ekwulobia in order to make way for the construction of a flyover at the town's roundabout. This comes after Governor Soludo had previously threatened to remove the deity, which was met with resistance from worshippers.
The Udo Olulu Eke deity holds significant reverence among worshippers in Ekwulobia and the surrounding area of Aguata. Even the Chief priest of Udo Olulu Eke Ekwulobia, known as Okenye (the Ancient One), had challenged the government's intentions. Okenye argued that if Governor Soludo believed the government owned the site of Udo Olulu Eke in Ekwulobia, then he should attempt to destroy or remove it without following due process. He emphasized the potential repercussions that the forceful demolition may have and disclosed that he was merely delivering a message as instructed.
From the viral video of the demolition, the driver of the caterpillar operating the machinery was seen dropping a kola nut on the ground as a sign of respect to the deity before he could proceed.
The demolition of the Olulu Eke Deity was executed as part of the government's development plan to facilitate the construction of Ekwulobia flyover. While the plan is viewed as beneficial for the town, Governor Soludo has faced opposition and warnings about the potential consequences of removing the deity.
