Unfortunately, your points don't count. The system doesn't even exist in Nigeria yet and if it starts, a lot of people will lose their hard-earned money if the type of restriction the government is putting into place is not introduced. Fraudsters will make easier money and make more people cry.
The system is in Nigeria already POS .merchants just need to upgrade.my 1st bank Debit card is contactless got it Jan this year
2 years ago I saw a guy with zenith bank debit card use his to get on the underground in london.it worked.

Contact less is not transfer. You didn't notice anything because you're not being honest.

Contact less is for cards that tap a machine to charge like your smart watch. Apple/ Google pay etc

It is really surprising most people use their smart phones to comment jargons but cannot do simple research on Contactless payment. Foreign countries has been using this since, e.g. UK since 2007. The daily contactless transaction limit in UK is £100, I use it daily here and I actually enjoy it because it is seamless. It is a good step in Nigeria but the question is, are the banks ready for this?
Hold in 2007?we did not even have smart phones in the Uk 2007 no touch screen phone the closest was slide phone nokia. However there has been contactless cards in Nigeria about 5 years ago cos I have one from 1st bank. However POS machine in Nigeria are not enabled enough to accept these transactions.

Beautiful work, congrats.

I want to make more inquires on the ceiling. You said Asbestos free ceiling boards;
1. are these different from plaster boards?
2. Which is better and durable, using plaster boards or full pop works?
3. Can i have the contact of the guys that did yours?

Then on the floor tiles. I saw something that looked like wooden floors (maybe cause of the color). Are they wooden floor tiles and in any case, how durable are wooden floor tiles?
1 Same materials but moulded to have diff shapes and design, thinner than plaster boards
2 They are both durable apparently depends on your pocket and design needs
3 would pass em to you but are you based in PHC?
4 yes tiles that has design and colouration like wooden floors.
look bellow

Discos can't do anything because the electricity was installed with communal effort and there's also gross irresponsibility on their part as well. They don't replace transformers or shoulder any maintenance responsibility except it's on the transmission lines to their substation or that affects a large portion of their distribution network and I believe you know this already. That said, there's no justification for asking you to pay 750k for connecting 3buildings on the same land area. 250k should suffice and I think you can challenge him with the estate constitution if nothing of such is written therein
This is where the Prepaid Metre campaign should go a long way, at my area, we do not bother calling them when the transformer goes of they all switch to Gen, the Disco on their own come and fix it cos they lose revenue after 3 days. The so-called Prepaid credit sellers are the ones disturbing the Discos on our behalf

What is the standard height/level of a foundation of a building (bungalow) so as to avoid issues like Flooding or expansion of road
As a rule of thumb, make your DPS I foot higher than exiting road I meant Road with Tamarc.

Do you plan to add hand railings to the balcony of the first floor or burglary. Still undecided on what to do in my build regarding that space
yes its 3 coaches of block, I might just add railings with glas 1 feet above, not full cover, the rear already has full cover like the down flats

Ironically those pipes are generally thicker/ stronger than the H-beams. Especially when sourced from the used/scrap market.

It's more of a design issue. Copy and paste is cheaper for us. If it works for my neighbour, it will work for me.
Are you kidding me?when it comes to support H beams are the best.H beams can hold anything if the right strength is used.Galvanised pipes has hidden part prone to rust H beams dnt

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: New Trend Alert!! Companies Now Taking Advantage Of Job Applicants!! by erico2k2(m): 11:41pm On Jun 17, 2023
integridad:
Dear Applicants,

Do you know that there is a new trend with companies especially these small scale "One man businesses"

Companies schedule interviews with people they have no intention hiring, They take advantage of frustrated job seekers, ask them questions usually around business development to steal their ideas.

Job seekers who went through pain or spent a lot, some even borrowed to arrive at the interview venue.

This is very wrong, NLC should look into this exploitation

Most Nigerian jobs posted on LinkedIn are fake, companies do this to create publicity and a faux appearance of growth,

Applicants beware!!

If you ever attend an interview like this, please visit this post and tag the company.
There is nothing like the narrative you described above, upgrade yourself in whatever field you are into and see how you get rushed. If you think its easy to open a business and employ people who aint realistic, try open one yourself.

Thanks for your observation. If you look at the at the picture very well and where we nail the arrestor. the Aluminium has no connection with the roof at all. Check the picture again.

Thanks
I think I agree with the other poster, you have not directed the path of the positively charged particles of the spark, its now spread along tyhe top part of the edge of the entire building. Take not that edge has metal inside and concrete is not in 100% an insulator.
PS. You are better off insulating the base of the arrestor with tape or use patch from a cut tyre
