Let me give an example. My client insisted I bought electronics for his house.. I bought Fridge (about 470k or so) and then I discovered it wasn't an inverter compressor as seller claimed. I returned fridge and my 400+ is still hanging with seller up till now (since February) but I've bought another fridge for client.

Since we got prepaid meter, the kind of power we get now is like x2 of when we were on estimated billing.

I am not blabbing, we get minimum of 18 hours daily and sometimes 1 straight week power with less than 2 hours shut down in like 2 days out of the week.

Once they give every home prepaid meters, they will surely sit up.

Same in my Yard in PHC, I was sitting at home one wkend them bring 5 meters, installed, FOC. Now the whole street dey look PHCN frm top hill, if no light Gen comes on at least you pay for what you use, no more contribution to repair light or buy a transformer

The O2 Sensors were changed before the catalyst so it is not the probable cause. Also, my scanner would bring out the sensor error code if it has any issues, but the only error code seen is the Catalyst. So the sensors are perfectly okay.

Bear in mind the nearest electrical connector to the cat conv is your O2 sensor.u need to physically take em out of the car to volt test them.
Mind you also the only way to find out if you get a bad cat conv is to do an Emission test,

My Honda Civic is Consuming Fuel Excessively!!!

Hello guys, please my 4 cylinder, 1.8 engine Honda Civic, 2009 model, is consuming fuel excessively, on a full tank, I'm getting about 15/16 miles per gallon on city and few highway driving, instead of 29/30 as expected.
I get only 200 miles instead of the standard 383 miles on a full tank, which is appalling.

A full tank of 8k will be exhausted after about 3 to 4 trips to and from mainland-island (ikeja-VI), and this is not economical for me at all.
At times, I question my decision on buying the car as I understood that it and Toyota corolla had the best fuel consumption, based on popular opinion, before I purchased it.

I bought the car as Tokunbo with a mileage of over 100k, also, there was no catalyst in it (the pot was empty), so I purchased and fixed a new catalyst for N40,000, this increased the mileage from 200 miles to just 215 miles on a full tank, which is very infinitesimal.

In addition the Check engine light has refused to clear even with the new catalyst replacement, it has been throwing up error code P0420 “Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1).

My mechanic is now suggesting a fuel system overhaul, he suggested checking and/or replacement of the fuel pump, air filter, spark plugs, fuel injector and other accessories, which does not go well with me after buying and fixing a new catalyst for 40k.

Please what can be the probable cause of this anomaly auto experts?
I will greatly appreciate your contributions.

meet a competent electrician to test ur O2 sensors also ur fuel pressure sensor as well as your engine temp sensors, these are what force ur ecu TO SEND MOR OR LESS FUEL. your cat converter does not have any wiring on it so the nearest wired device is ur o2 sensor.nah there my DIY skills reach!

Have a look at a clearer photo of the vehicle just after the crash. The driver’s side door, windscreen and bonnet were all damaged in the crash and had to be replaced as well.

It was funny to hear a 2016 car which can't even be available again brand new, not like its a special edition ,that someone was spending £20k for repair bills,something weh aftermarket parts from scrapyard go full town.
Well,maybe the guy don't like scavenging for parts so he tends to go to a dealership for repairs so those cost can be possible because of OEM parts and they will be many since the car was accidented.
But the big question is,
Is spending £20k on top a 6yr old luxury car worth it or a smart financial decision?To me,NO!

Attached are the receipts. Long story short, insurance refused to pay for the repairs and I had to pay for it myself. Case against the insurance company is currently with the Ombudsman to look into a refund.

Lastly, you should observe some decorum when you accuse people you don't know of telling porkies.

I drive a 2016 model. I would strongly advise you look for a dealer or Landrover specialist close to wherever you live to sort out your vehicle. Landrover vehicles are a money pit, but if well looked after, they are amazing to drive.
