They fail to understand that Niggeria is unstable. I cant think of any small or medium business that has lasted up to 10 years or grown to become a major business without the backing of politicians, or generals,
bro I disagree with you.The mindset of most 9ja people is follow follow. However dont you have a passion?? if you do turn it into business. There are loads of people who have left the Uk and US to go do their start ups, if you are on youtube google the Nigerians who returned to set up mechanic workshop, even tattoo school and body art, I know up to 5 women who returned to PHC to set up beauty spa etc and are doing wonderfully well

I bought a smart TV and everyone knows how costly a smart TV is these days. I have good relationship with my next door neighbor but though he's a very nice guy but he has a flaw which is that he lies a lot. He's single.

He had a small get together in his mini flat so he begged to use my sitting room cos its bigger. I let him and went about my job.

I rarely watch my TV cos I'm very busy with work and come back late tired, eat, shower, browse and sleep. So it was only a week later that I finally got the chance to switch on my TV and behold its damaged and can't display anymore. I never allowed anyone in my sitting room except the day my neighbor used it which is a week ago. I also live alone for a month now and never had visitors of any kind.

I'm filled with madness but don't know exactly how to confront him since he codedly never told me. My main worry is that he will outrightly lie and deny it even if I confront him.

What would you do in my situation??
Physical damge? or electrical problem?

It's heart wrenching to see old people homeless. I can't stand it. Don't know why Western countries do nothing about them

Money is important but so is humanity. Old people should be treated with respect and dignity

Some homeless old women even get to the point of selling s*x for money. Really really sad
In what country?

Lol
Business is this Nigeria?

Why will I come back to Nigeria when I have my families here.
When am old, I can be taking care of my grandchildren.
Retired people are the one who travelled out most on holiday.
The issue of returning back to Nigeria is a personal choice, just cos you do not want to does not make it BAD idea! But there are loads of us Nigerians living abroad thinking investing in one's country is a waste of space, the quicker we realize the new narrative is what we have back home the quicker we get real with the reality that whatever we own abroad isn't ours

My people, don’t allow some persons deceive you. The west is a complete capitalist society and it even reflects in senior care.
What this person failed to mention is the number of homeless old people littered everywhere in the abroad that government has ignored.
Even the old people’s homes are of different grades. You will only be taken care of according to how your pocket can provide for you. If your money no reach, you are on your own. And you know it’s not hard to be homeless in the west.

If you want to spend your last days in an old people’s home, start saving money now so you can afford a home with excellent care. Or else…
This is how you know those that jst got abroad or dont even have a visa,
the homeless persons are homeless by choice and they have drug problems. Homelessness is actually a sickness attributed to ones mental state!

I returned to Nigeria 5 years ago
Worst decision ever

I know a lot of the people that returned home after getting good money from those Countries but most don run back or to other countries.
Going back to Nigeria is sweet if your families are rich
Returning bck to 9ja is a gradual process, you must be set, at least have house, cars and a passionate business and enough capital

What your Ghanaian friend did is something I wish I had known earlier or younger me had done sooner (i.e. the aggressive saving then investing, towards an early retirement) Too bad I don't earn in foreign currency like him, the naira go slow runs for me.

What the oyinbo man did, is a realization I came to last year when Covid happened and we were in lockdown. I realized (Klass) you can retire early and not continue this rat race, I realized this work and quench mentality or work till retirement age, doesn't have to be your story or reality.
If you work in a place with loads of overtime paid at premium, then you can achieve this with no disturbance

We are still buying and moving cables to the site today, I have bought up to 40% more cables than the budget I was given by my electrician. We quoted for this electrical wires as at the time we haven't checked what the final height of this building will be like. Now with this new height, we have bought an additional bundles of pipes, and now buying more cables to complete this wiring. This house height means that the cables will run a longer route before getting to the needed points where fittings will be installed.
ok what's the cost of that bundle you got up there?

No be National Assembly enact the Federal Tax laws? Isn’t it these same laws pdp used for 16 years? All these noise thinking they are doing President Buhari, cut your nose to spite their ears?

Same thing they did with Endsars, after everything Police didn’t change, actually they became more pathetic, insecurity is worse, they will look for a scapegoat & blame the President for their own ignorant actions. Tomorrow we will hear the Governor has stolen all the monies collected via VAT for his re-election,yet the President has refused to invite EFCC?
there is no need to bring PDP or APC here its purely states talking irrespective of political parties ie Lagos and Rivers one APC one PDP, or E never clear for your eyes still??

they're too large. A burglary is meant to do two jobs, beautify and secure and this is doing neither of the two.

One break of rod and you have access to the window. Another thing is that the design is too bland.

Kindly note dear op, that this is my personal opinion which you can totally ignore
I agree. this is for the top floor but I will re-think about it and see what adjustments could be made once I'm on ground. I really appreciate your impute
