I looked recently into hardwood. It's expensive. The additional costs of shipping and clearing might make it even less appealing. Depending on the scale of the project, it might not be cost effective and then the installation in Naija might not be the best since not many people do it but I'm sure there're people who can still do a good job.
My gripe is seeing expensive million dollar projects in lekki still using low quality tiles everywhere and poor finishes. Quality of materials in these expensive homes are just distasteful. I mean these are $500k to $1m homes. Surely the budget is big enough for more quality finishes.
I always think wood floors are a no no in 9ja, Im sitting the sandy nature of 9ja how the surface will go dull in no time

I asked this question before but got no answer.

Who set the 6” and 9” standard and is it a standard actually?

I’m toying with setting up an automated block factory to manufacture architectural level blocks. But I only want to produce one size. I’ll put my 6” against any regular 9”. (Still talking about blocks, for the perverts) grin
Down south we use more solid no hollow blocks and its 6inches solid story build.4 inches bungalows

Do they have the technical expertise to produce clean fuel?

Do they follow health and safety standard.

We can't continue to cut our trees and pollute our environment and expect an invisible Federal Government to come to their aid. The local indigene need to take personal responsibility for their environment instead of pleading ignorance.
This was why I said the FG should be able to licence and control them,There is big money investments here, its not these hungry guys you see here that is teh IT in this business. There are people who are willing to invest £1m or more if this comes into reality!Lack or planning and regulation leads to these kind of malpractice.cos of low tech they can only produce Diesel.Imagine if they can have a reasonable fractional distilating plant!

So we shud go back to idol worshipping, human sacrifices, killing of twins and other evils? They did not brainwashed us with their religion, science or technology. The gospel of Christ is the best thing that happened to Africans.
Look here,Killing of twins was not stopped cos of religion ratehr it was seen as babarick.Go back to history of the Vikings, humans were sacrificed then as well, talking about Idols, its what you belive, everyone has the right to practice what they which.come to the UK every religion is respected and represented!

He shudnt have undressed her though. Beating would have been enof. When the society don't shun evil, things go haywire. How can someone in her right senses dress like a mad prostitute? I blame the entertainment industry and pastors that won't preach against it.
He should not even look at her or put hands on her,

My brother, read properly - one of the reasons, not all.. And no, we won't tolerate such nonsense here. Nigeria is not US/UK.. And who told you God is not angry with America? How God operates is different. And how he chooses to punish each country is different too.. Don't expect a monotonous punishment for all.. Everyone will be punished uniquely and at the appropriate time.

When God Almighty punished Israel for their sins - sins committed by some Israelites - there were many nations living in worse sins, at the time, that were not punished alongside the Israelites. However, it doesn't mean God wasn't angry with them.. Just that their time of reckoning wasn't ripe.. At some point, God even commissioned some of those sinful/pagan nations to punish the Israelites - who were more righteous than they - for the sins committed by some/most of them.. Does that mean God was happy with those sinful/pagan Nations? No.. His ways are different..

Same thing is happening to Nigeria.

Just say you don't believe in God and move on..

God bless Nigeria.
I pity ur likes, I live i n the country that introduced christianity to Nigeria guess what, they do not do this and dont realy give a damn about waht yah practice!

This "illegal" business keeps many families in the South-South afloat, as they have been neglected by the government, neglected by the oil multinationals and killed by the military for having this same oil.
if not for this the whole 9ja Delta for don cast, even the military for don cast cos they are making huge profit from this!

This is why the Fg needs to license these guy so that proper control can be put in place.|\Come to think of it, is not of concern that these guys produce more diesel than NNPC?

The so-called money they get isn't even up to a minimum wage if this country was functioning for a oil producing state youth
who told you that? its these people surviving PH wen it comes to diesel, if not for them loads of local business would have packed up due to no eletricity!

Allowing recipients to receive forex will flood the street market and drive down demand. That will positively affect Naira exchange. It's a temporary solution but it's a solution still.

I don't know the long term solution, i don't know if there's one aside increasing our forex earning potentials and providing enabling environment to attract FDIs. While we are waiting for the government to do this, we can use the temporary solution and deal with the implications later.
This is a dream!

CBN is trying hard to quiet down the noise instead of getting to the root and fixing the economy...... at least it helped with the initial noise and forex fell.

Now today forex is going up again, let see which measure CBN go throw next week and the next week and the next . Till den we remain hopeful
Yep it has gone up again
