obailala: Another pointless political move by the government.
The current low oil price presents a fantastic opportunity for the govt to do away with the subsidy regime for good. But instead, they choose to still modulate / control and peg the price. What then happens when oil price rises again? Nit only that, the subsidy just increased |

Proudlyngwa:
If this really was a pipeline explosion and not a sabotage as u suspect. Then there is only one possible explanation, someone might have mistakenly shut in a valve, or a valve failed., While pumping was ongoing without any safety procedures at the pumping end to shut down in case of excess pressure, there could have been a build up of accumulated pressurised hydrocarbons along the line, and unfortunately that was the weakest point in the line with high possibility of a spark somewhere around. I have witnessed scenarios like this. Nigeria needs to step up on its safety and automation procedures.
RIP to the dead. May God in his infinite mercy comfort those who are at loss and give them the strength to see through this trying times. flame? |

Benin people are good at witchery and witchcraft, but they are not the most powerful witches or wizards in the world. Even those in government have their own witchcraft. "A dịghị agba aka arị ọji"
Ordinary girl or boy in the Street may have more powerful juju in her or his possession than Benin palace.

Relatives about are not worried about Electricity cos they have it round the clock.
If Nigeria has a fraction of basic amenities work then I'm sure nobody will ask a dime from relatives abroad. U are missing the point, let me give you a wee example, one time i went to 9ja with the kids, One of my sisters made it a point to make dresses for my two girls in Ankara,, they took it back and wear it on their native days at school, if my Mum hears anyone is coming to London nah dry fish straight etc lol,the best gift for people abroad nor pas things like Egusi,Ogbonor, crayfish, periwinkles, even palm oil, if U kno U kno Even Maggi cubes are well appreciated U have no idea! |

Or is it when I help him to clear his goods, do you know the stress involved? So when I say he tries to impress me with meagre I know exactly what I was saying, and believe you me, I have never asked him for anything or any help. grafixdon: Oga forget that thing, let's face the reality. We're all human, sometimes you expect something reasonable from someone you think can afford it, I'm talking about someone that worth billion. Though he owes me nothing and I never asked but being the fact that I'm useful to him, he should at least give something reasonable. People who work hard for their money do not dish it out for no reason, not even as gifts, something mus go back to them in return, they owe no one nothing nor any sort of explanation. however the thing is they can afford to pay for what they want without fear or favour, This is the true definition of being rich! |
