Before I traveled around 2009 the only thing I got from over 10 of my uncles and relatives was 8,000 naira. Even one gave me as low as 200 naira.... until I got there and found out there is no money abroad. They only have money to pay their bills and money saved for vacation. I believe we should be sending our people in America money. They are really suffering

Sentiment aside, me and you know that lagos is a small State compare to large land mass of others state. If you're made the governor, no matter how benevolent you are, Thing wouldn't get better until you repair the country as a whole. Shop on road and street is a No-No, it has over crowded everywhere and everything. I am not blaming any citizens, I am just making an observation.

ALl Im saying is the Govt can do more, instead of selling off lands, they can make these space on a pay as U go basis as seen in western countries where they encourage street trading. Some whole streets are closed i n some days and time so people can trade

I'm tired of all these arguments of government not providing alternatives!! What alternatives should government be providing for illegal acts that should never have been allowed to occur on the first place? Look at the pictures of people trading over gutters. Eventually ask their waste and plastic bottles end up in the gutter, blocks it then causes flood.

At that point we'll all complain about government inaction and incompetence, but this is where it starts from.

Truth be told, lagos is overpopulated with all kind of people and things, the poor never reduces, Every now and then thousands are flocking in every time, how many people can you cater for. You can't help other 35 state do their job. A time would come you have to take drastic decision and practically chase out some relocators back to their village. The rate of road blockage and traffic is overwhelming.
Let Other state do their own job.

Nobody is punishing anybody. I'm not a fan of APC but what they're doing in Lagos is a step in the right direction. In any sane country, if you want to get a shop you get a traders permit and a good location from the local government instead of planting shanties all over the place that reduce property value and become eyesores.

Well now we are talking like this, what sites did the govt of the day dedicate for these so-called licences to be obtained against/? would it not be good practice to create this space in the 1st instance and then move them? this is insane if U ask me, what do you now want these poor people to do right about now? this is all they have got!govt is meant to serve the people not the people to serve the govt

Rav4 is not 4 cylinder.... Rav 4 merely has a 4cylinder option.

Rav4 has an all wheel drive option. And not every e class is 4wheel drive(the usual problematic 4matuc)
