Godismighty:Exactly. Churches have taken a back seat for too long and allowed hyenas, wolves, ritualistic beings, terrorists, drug barons, criminals, corrupt fellows, cultists etc; to occupy our political space thereby give churches more stress by praying for a better country and leadership, instead of focusing prayers on other areas . We shouldn't expect a meaningful development by having the aforementioned in the helms of affairs |
What about mosques where imams openly campaign for a preferred candidate. Kperogi lef mata |
Bizarre |
caye:Sabotage wasn't the primary reason we import petroleum products. The oil giants who are opec members also import It's in line with my previous explanations. Visut Google before you tackle me again. Go amd study the law of comparative advantage in case you didn't offer economics in secondary school. |
johnfarida2011:no thanks |
He's gone to collect drips again. Je doesn't care if people are suffering or not cos he's not the one in charge of governance. He's a figure head president |
Anything Russian now , na ban |
We're tired of the apc and their wahala abeg. They should just pack and leave. We've moved on |
This is very bad. Where are human values? |
It has always been like that and that's why they've always lost out. You'd see somebody who stands a chance of scoring but shoot the ball to another place just because he's not of your tribe. Yeye people |
ManirBK:Lol. These countries aren't as myopic as many youths here are. They must have weighed all these before sanctioning Russia. They'd always cope without Russia. The law of comparative advantage favours the west more than it favours Russia. Read about the History of IKEA and Germany timber industry. It's huge! Many of us always blame Nigeria for exporting crude and import refined products...it's in a bid to give those countries without oil or any means of survival too food to eat. There are a lot of diplomacy at play globally, which many of us don't even understand, except global leaders and their ambassadors. America can survive a century of constant energy supply without looking at Saudi or Russia. But for the aforementioned, they'd not touch their crude. Russia would lose at last |
OBALOLA55:Yes, you can claim your mum's origin. Check the Nigeria constitution for details. My dad is from akoko edo in edo state near isua akoko ondo state but mum is from lagos( from jakande family) and I'm claiming lagos. I can also claim edo if I want. Our constitution allows that. Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former ogun state governor is another example. His dad is from delta while his mum, an ogun state woman and he became governor of ogun state. He claimed ogun |
fourboys:Does that place look like a police station to you? Where did you see police around him? Lazy youth |
ccollins:I'm of Jaknde ancestry so I know. Baba had to warn all his children from pitching his tents close to Tinubu or have you heard anywhere that any of the jakande's children is vying for any political office in lagos? Baba had children oo. You can only see Tinubu's children and family holding one position or the other here. Someone who came from Iragbiji in Osun State but was adopted by Hadjia Mogaji and changed his name to tinubu. Amoda Onileere suddenly became Bola Tinubu It was because of his presidential ambition that he put on his wiki page that he was actually born in Osun because he knew we lagosians were going to use that against him. If you're in doubt, visit Tinubu's Wikipedia page. I doubt if his myopic followers ever knew this. They always attack us each time we say Tinubu isn't part of us but from iragbiji in Osun State. All wouid end soon. Just watch |
OBALOLA55:His mum was. |
OBALOLA55:If you talk fulani,.maybe some parts of ilorin. They're yorubas of fulani ancestry. That doesn't mean they do all those rubbish fulanis do in Nigeria today. You can tell from the way ilorin enjoys peace...it's one of the peaceful towns in Nigeria today, if not the most peaceful. Kwara state in general is a yoruba dominated state, forget their geographical affiliation |
Ilorin afonja, enudun juyo. Ilu ti won tin fi bęskę onigun męrin sebę ![]() I really enjoyed my stay in Ilorin as a student. Their food was so cheap, especially the white beans sold at Ipata Market. I'd treck from Sabo Oke to ipata, pass the front of Ecwa Church to buy white beans. Good old days |
They ain't seen nothing yet. When Putin was bragging that he'd cut gas supply to Europe, should sanctions continue, he was so full of himself. By the time the US president Biden called his bluff and placed a sanction on gas supply to the west, putin shivered and their economy began to collapse. You can't be busy amassing armoury and weapons with the same proceeds of oil supplied to the west and be using it to intimidate them. Take it or leave it, without America, the whole world would have been wiped off a long time ago. There are so many evil people in the world. Some myopic religious bigots keep saying trash of America. Without America Saudi would have been levelled by terrorists long before now. When you mention this they'd say America is protecting Saudi because of their oil interests there , but they forget that there's massive oilfield in Texas and Alaska. Their reserves alone can serve them for decades. They must have seen all these issues coming by building a buffer stock of oil. This is a lesson every nation, including Nigeria must learn. Anything can happen, anytime. If you fail to plan, you simply plan to fail. |
Dshocker:That would only happen in his dream. How Tinubu became so powerful in Lagos still baffles me. Pa adebanjo is seriously regretting ever accepting his pleas to becoming lagos governor in 1999 today. He looked innocent and was prostrating that they should allow him. Now he's become a monster in the midst of intellectuals, harassing everyone. He doesn't even listen to the AD chieftains who anointed him anymore. His empire nears it's end. Mark it |
It's not enough. They should interrogate him over the death of that pretty girl who boarded a BRT bus at Lekki only to be dismembered along the way. |
Drug trafficking is now the new oil in Nigeria, fetching Nigerian criminals great forex earnings which they use to intimidate people and build hotels. Those caught had been doing it successfully and severally until they met their waterloo. Don't think anyone is caught is a first timer. They do it everyday but they intercept only the unfortunate few. Until drug trafficking becomes a capital punishment as in the days of buhari/idiagbon, people wouldn't stop this nonsense. Imagine a high ranking police officer like Kyari indulging in this mess. |
Throwback:No be today person dey obese. He can never be more obese than former IG Tafa Balogun. You'd think he'd burst when walking. Every evil man must taste the law of karma. |
Penguin2:Read the news again, ok? |
I have some questions.. Hope he never released a criminal after collecting a huge sum and replaced him with an innocent man who was eventually killed in his place? Hope he never killed an innocent man and tagged him criminal? Hope he was not a wicked man when he was alive? If all the questions were NOs, then may his soul rest in peace. |
iwaeda:You didn't read my comment before spewing this trash, quite obvious. Google the meaning of the word STAKE and compare with your post....no wonder we have millions of graduates yet, no job. Some aren't even qualified to hold that certificate and I see you as one. |
Which kain confusion be dis . Elrufai came to channels tonight and was saying something else. Dis party may be scattered before buhari leaves office, at the look of things. You can imagine elrufai saying buhari isn't aware of the goings on until now . How we got where we've found ourselves is still like a dream to me |
iwaeda:At times you just have to keep quiet instead of embarrassing yourself due to ignorance. Google is there for everyone to use but some lazy youths won't. Had those investors not withdrawn due to security challenges and bad economy, we'd have done more than 1.8m/barrel because we had surpassed that in the past. Nigeria naira didn't just suffer this way, investors had taken back their dollar and invented elsewhere. Seplat, an indigenous oil company even wanted to buy some of the stakes left behind by one of those oil companies but politics is halting the move |
Comradewhy:Bikuos he's Tinubu's elder brother lool |
tiswell:hun |
All na coded moves. Abba Kyari to ti bo kaadi . That NDLEA case na FG code. Only myopic people will this news excite |
These old bois again ![]() Someone should please tell them this is 2022. Their reigh ended 10 years ago. They should just retire in peace. They've tried. Whatever they put their money into in their hay days would determine if they'd end up like their predecessors or live above board. There's time for everything and music fame isn't forever. It's just like dbanj saying he'd shut down O2 arena, that would have been tantamount to a joke of the century. The duo reigned in the same era with dbanj. |
alsudan:Ayade too |
