Seun, Lalasticlala, mynd44 please do something about the amount of hate and insensitivity we see on a daily in nairaland. How can somebody gloat at another's misfortune?

2. Don't abuse, bully, deliberately insult/provoke, fight, or wish harm to Nairaland members OR THEIR TRIBES.
3. Don't threaten, support or DEFEND violent acts against any person, tribe, race, animals, or group (e.g. rape).
do you know if he is an armed robber himself? how do you expect him to be sympathetic toward a police man who killed one of his co criminals?

the exact same thing that came too my mind, although he shot at them, he also shattered their windows, had he continued he would have killed all of them..but he ran..that wasn't strategic at all, he had cover but all still sha RIP to him
he had no cover bro. bullets can penetrate those walls made of blocks and cement. the reason he probably wasn't shot while inside was because he may have laid down on the floor but soon realized that he could not hold that position for long, plus he Probably also panicked.

I still feel he shouldn't have left the room where he was without a bullet proof vest, RIP gallant man
if he didn't leave the other robbers would have entered the room and slaughtered all the policemen there, just running away was his best option given the fact that he was outnumbered and outgunned.

kudos.... these idiots skipped the part where she said that her quest for a female child led to it , apart from that, is the issue of seven kids more important than their welfare. the policeman gave his "all" his family should never be abandoned.
I tire for these people, the fact is that majority of our people are so crude and lack human sympathy look at all of them fixating on the no. of kids instead of addressing the issue of neglect by the appropriate authority. when policemen in future refuse to put their lives on the line they will be the ones calling them cowards.

It is good.Where are the Arewa youth insulting the igbos.una never see anything yet.The necleus of the Nigerian football team is Igbos and the useless Arewa youth are there insulting themselves. If the Arewa doesnt apologise to the whole Igbo nation, this same sabotage will be replicated in the Nigerian economy very soon.
abegi which sabotage they gave their best unfortunately most of our players are 2nd rate or even 3rd rate players.

i like the guy that pump bullet on that robber chest

But that dead Armed that entered the security post to kill the mopol is so dumb.

He entered the room with one gut
No ducking
No cover up
He entered as if he kept his baby in yhe room to kill
The mopol wasted no time n empty bullet in his gut
N like a movie-nija movie ,he went down n died.
I guess he thought everyone in the security post were dead, u will recall that the first thing they did in the video was to spray the security post with bullets.

The Biafra of our dream will will be a state free from social injustice and ethnic hatred as we have in Nigeria. For centuries the Igbo have been known to be very peaceful and accommodating. To my itskere brothers, when referendum will be called, just vote freely to remain in Nigeria as 9th class citizen. The decision is yours to make.Beside,we do not even need burden incase you think we noble biafrans are after the oil in the niger delta region which i know is the major concern of the nigeria government.Remember during the war,Egyptian mercenaries with assistance of the soviet union bomber planes destroyed onistha, the biggest market in west Africa and after the war the Nigerian government gave the igbos 20pounds irrespective of how much you have in the bank.Still,in just few years we survived and became successful even without your oil and government support .Infact, the Igbo against all odds are the most successful tribe in nigeria even without been in government. So without you noble biafran will strive and become the toast of AFRICA.GOD BLESS YOU.
crap. let ur eastern states stop receiving allocations from oil revenue, and let us see how they will manage to survive.

When I come online and here such talk I laugh.that ss is not part of biafra.i am in ss so I know first hand what's happening there.
Even igbo leaders are. Denying biafra because they know what they are gaining and don't want to lose.nigeria will act as an experience to biafrans hence there will be accountability etc,it is still same with the leaders in niger delta as they fulanis are giving them peanuts to bribe them to shut up while they steal our oil.
I know what I am saying because the leader of the ipob group in our area is an akwa ibom man.and they are many like that attending ipob meeting I was even suprise when I saw benue guys there.
so the fact that you saw 1 or 2 individuals from the mentioned ethnic groups dies that indicate that their entire ethnic group is in support of biafra?

I am ashamed of these people. Just look at how a major ethnic group who should be calling shots in politics have turned themselves into a laughing stock, all because they couldn't swallow the outcome of their gamble even though Ijaws themselves moved on just weeks after their son's defeat.

The Middle Beltans, Ijaws, Urhobos, all gave them the middle finger, Northerners have banished them from their lands, now Itsekiris have. The sooner they understand and accept this is an IGBO ONLY thing, the better for them.
who would want to live in a state dominated by ibos? have you lived among IBO's before? they are the most egocentric, inhospitable and tribalistic set of people I have ever met,

Their strength lies in the Nigerian factor of cowardice. None is willing to sacrifice for the good of all. Senators collect huge allowances, embezzle funds and get rewarded with chieftancy titles. Does that look like a place where they are marked for capture? Blame the society.
why don't u sacrifice by starting a bloody revolution against our leaders

what makes u think he bought his in aba?

I wouldn't have mentioned it but Messi has more trophies(30), well, 31 if you include his Olympics medal, compared to Ronaldo's 24...

So, better stats and more trophies. You were saying?
let messi go and replicate his superb performance with another team them, meanwhile he has not been able to replicate his perfect form for his national team, meanwhile cr7 has done it for 2clubs and his national team.

so u agree messi also needs better players around him to flourish??. football is a team work thing not for lone wolves...
are u insinuating that messi does not have good players around him? mention any player in the Portuguese national ten that does not have equally or even probably better counterpart in the Argentine national team.

Messi has better statistics than Ronaldo...all the while Barca were winning, you didn't bring up this argument but Ronaldo wins CL and he's suddenly the best player...
football is all about winning trophies, fantastic stats without trophies to show is irrelevant.

Credit to the Real Madrid team who work alot to make the job simpler for their striker, Ronaldo.....All credits shld be given to the team, though one cannot overlook Ronaldo's fierceness in front of goal....he is good.

Likewise, all credit to Lionel Messi who in most cases, and singlehandedly can mesmerize even his own teammates by delivering when he can...Messi is gifted.

To op, who started dz messi ronaldo tin, na Juve- Madrid play final ooo, not Barca Madrid....mischief maker undecided
don't forget that cr7 has been able to replicate his superb form for 2 teams(many and real) let messi leave barca we will c if he can replicate his perfect form.

Lionel Messi in an interview said he was sent to this world by the God of football to teach the world how to play football.

A few days later, Cristiano Ronaldo was asked how he felt about Messi's statement.

To correct the op it is called a wind turbine not wind mill and no it will not generate 24hr power, small wind turbines located in built up areas are very inefficient because of turbulence arising from the buildings and other obstructions.

Lagos is just one funny kind of place to live in everyone is in a haste.. I noticed it when I started school in the East (Anambra). Everyone is friendly, whenever someone enters a bus he greets everyone and says Hi.. No much crowd and you hardly see traffic jam,Drivers will be pleading with you to enter their bus, but in Lagos? If I hear. If someone enters a bus the first thing he'll do is to fight and argue with people in the bus (Shift jor I said shift). Don't get me started with the traffic. Lets just say almost everyone in Lagos is always in a bad mood
friendly? east? the eastern States are some of the most inhospitable places to live in unless of course if you are Ibo.

Btw the NERC can make policies as long as they are in line with Electric Power Sector Reform Act 2005. That's part of their job. The minister still has sway over the board as well.
ow OK.

What magic wand will the DISCOS use to force the federal and distributors governments to pay?
what magic wand do private companies that offer services to govt use to force govt to pay? I recall during nitel days this same trend was prevalent, influential politicians and govt offices will never pay their telephones bills but why are that not doing same since the privatization of the telecom sector. the discos only need to meter all their customers and diligently monitor their network, with prepaid meters no customer can accumulate debt.
