konkonbilo:Cold weather where? It's very hot now. |
babyfaceafrica:Isn't it obvious that no one remembers the masses on this saga anymore? It's about who has more political backing and rigging skills. |
iberrylee:You, the civilised one, decided to do the abusing. Thumbs up. That I don't know what I'm saying is not an abuse enough, right? |
PDP is like any other private organization. It is not a government ministry, agency, department or parastatal. As such, it is not in any way obliged to put up a picture of the president. Expecting the opposition party hang a picture of their main contender on their wall is not just ridiculous but also undermines the symbolism of the picture. |
What of those of us near the northern pole? Recently, it only gets dark between 9pm to 9:30pm here. Let's see how it will be today. |
Sorry, we learn everyday, what's s couch in this context? |
Young boy's thread. Wait till you get married, you'd know how it goes. |
OP, did you say linguist? ![]() |
IsaacRocks:A semi virgin |
meobizy:I knew someone would make this an avenue to bash women. The insecurity of NL boys is legendary. Men have been raping babies, teens, adults and the elderly but as soon as we see a thread about a woman who set up her friend for 8 men to violate, it becomes pertinent to point out which gender is more evil. You guys see everything as an avenue to take side and fight. If it's not tribal, it's religious or, as in this case, along the gender lines. Make sure you marry your male best friend. |
kgr8mike:Because of the clinical procedures and well documented results with empirical evidence. The exact thing they asked Madagascar to come up with. Shey Madagascar said they are no longer under WHO? Let anyone that trust their drugs go ahead and buy it, it's not illegal. But they can't force WHO to accept and prescribe a drug to the world based on "we think it's potent". I am pro African but I'm also a science graduate; I know no one will take us seriously if keep replacing logic with emotions. |
Aphrygian:I agree with you and that's why I have issues with the question. You don't read to understand, you guys only aim to fight and argue. Nawa o. |
tatatar:I don't really understand the rationale behind tribalism especially from black people who condemn racism. This is so low of you. Do you ever sit back and read some of these things you type? Would you be proud of your son if he grew up to be engaging in such discriminative way of addressing others? Are you really happy with this? |
Lol... this question portrays the people of Ibadan as crooked and primitive. |
First, I like your kid brother. He seems fun and adventurous. But the alligator part, why did y'all kill it? |
This thread reminds me of how much I have changed. Today, I'd charge against anyone who treats animals badly but I wasn't a saint myself. Don't get me wrong, I've always loved animals but, as a kid, I didn't really understand them well enough to know how best to handle them. So I ended up hurting them out of love and admiration. ![]() 1) I threw a fowl in a basin of water to see if it could swim like a duck. Well, it didn't sink but it was struggling; I applauded it throughout the exercise. 2) I threw a fowl through the balcony of the second floor to see if it would fly like other birds. It never flew but it survived the fall. I was disappointed but I still praised it. 3) I sneaked out my elder brother's new birthed pigeon and was throwing it up wondering why it wouldn't fly away. At a point, I believed the bird liked me and that was why it kept coming back. I felt like a falconer. I didn't know the poor thing wasn't fully flighted yet. My bro caught me but mum wouldn't let him lay a finger on me. "Oh! You want to kill your brother because of a bird? Nnunu!" 4) While my mates were building 'kites' with nylon and broom sticks, I caught a bush pigeon, tied a rope on its leg and would always throw it into the air and drag it back after a few seconds; that was my own kite. I wonder why it died a couple of days later. 5) I caught a lizard and kept it as a pet for days. I forgot I had to feed it so one day I realized it was so weak, it was still alive but wasn't moving anymore. After thinking about it thoroughly, I decided it was preganant and that was an opportunity for me to practice my future career - Medicine. I opened up its tommy and to my surprise, there was no baby lizard in there. Even lizards do fake pregnancy. I left the 'wound' to heal but the poor thing couldn't make it. I felt like a professional announcing to my friends "We did all we could". It was a male agama lizard by the way. 6) I was wondering who was a faster between a cat and a rat so I decided set up a race between them. I planned it so well. I caught a a healthy rat for the show, I drew lines on the floor to mark each animal's lane, etc. But surprisingly, when the game started, the cat quickly left its lane and jumped on the rat! No idea why it did that but it ran away with the rat. Maybe it thought it was a kitten. Ok, let me stop here before y'all think I'm weird. I'm sorry, animals. I'm sorry, everybody. NB: I've owned and groomed many animal pets as an adult and each was like family to me. My love for animals though. |
Lol... ![]() OP, thanks. |
Antiochus:Ok |
The slap was just accentuated with audio editing, nothing serious. |
dermmy:You quoted his dumb post to call me ignorant and here you are quick to abandon him. If not for the colonization, a lot of things would have been different. There wouldn't have been a single nation called Nigeria, Nigeria wouldn't have been English speaking or Christian's, etc. How many of these things went back to the way they were 100 years later after colonization? None. Each territory and colony big enough evolved into independence because the people have, over the years, instituted a system for themselves. So why must HK go back to it's former status if the people of HK does not concent to it? It's not all about China vs the UK. The people being fought over should have a say. They could vote to stay, fine but nothing will settle all this dispute faster than that. Your argument simply doesn't make sense. You can type all you want but there's no justification for denying the people of HK a referendum. Nothing at all. |
merahki:I'm not blackmailing him. At least, that wasn't my intention. The society is just unforgiving. |
Jeferious:True. And other will still emulate them if they become the world power. China's ambitions come with mixed feelings. |
Nephilim:After you'd be blaming women for abortion. |
Jeferious:I agree with you 100%. It's actually a relief to see someone that sees my point. China has the right to deal with those that messed up with her years ago. I'm only after the interest of the people being governed. If a referendum is given to them, chances are, the majority might still vote for a stay. And they'd still be part of China. But that would, at least, give China a more reassuring position. It's not for HK alone, it could be another country tomorrow. China is becoming the world power, references will be made to them in future just like they are made to the US today. |
Bbbwings:Maybe you are right. I don't know. But does this in any way undermine the need to give them a chance to say if they want to be sovereign or not? You don't think the people should have a say? |
Isinweke:The distance between Russia and the US was never the bone of contention. I said Alaska is is within the boundaries of Canada. He called me me ignorant and said it wasn't true. I shared the map to show that Alaska is indeed withing the boundaries of Canada and that the border between Russia and Alaska is not even a land border but maritime border. As for your argument of Hong Kong not being able to survive without China, yes they rely on China for food importation but then, no country is self sufficient. If they can't survive without China, I believe they know that and would vote to remain with China if given a referendum so why not just give them that chance to express themselves? |
Bbbwings:How does my post suggest that the partitioning of Africa is good to me? Did I say they should remain under the UK? I'm never supporting the UK. I never insinuated they did the right thing. But I'm vehemently advocating for the right of the people of HK to make their own choices. They should decide if they want to remain a territory or a Sovereign state. This is only fair. All this long talk is not necessary. |
