Governor Ayodele Fayose has been accused by the All Progressives Congress of reckless insensitivity to workers’ plight over his Chrismas trip to Dubai. The APC has accused Governor Fayose of Insensitivity to workers plight The APC stated that the trip was the height of irresponsibility displayed by the governor to embark on private comfort abroad while state workers had not received salary. The main opposition party in the state wondered how the governor could afford to expense N250 million on Christmas foreign trips when state workers had not been paid their three months’ salary. The APC position was contained in a signed statement made by the publicity secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, on Sunday, Dec ember 27. The statement read in part: “It is more worrisome that the governor prepared and collected travelling allowances for 10 aides who he claimed were to travel with him to Dubai, but only one eventually made the trip while money running into millions for the remaining nine was pocketed by the governor.” “[It] confirmed our earlier alarm that Fayose is taking Ekiti money out to the Middle East country whenever he receives allocation from the Federal Government.” “Fayose just visited local governments where he lied to the workers that the state government is broke whereas he has appropriated N250m for his needless trip and those of ghost aides after setting aside another N250 million for his monthly personal security vote. complete story and more, visit http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/apc-accuses-ayo-fayose-of-spending.html MissyB3 Ijebabe lalasticlala ishilove seun obynoscope mynd44

Asari Dokubo has always loved being in the news. He has spoken severally on national issues and he has also threatened fire and brimstone on several occasions. After the general elections which the APC and President Buhari won, Asari took to his Facebook page where he posted ” Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim your Buhari does not have the power to send any body to prison….get that into your piggy skull and nobody is afraid of him….We are waiting for him….following the example of GEJ does not make us cowards….If he Buhari wants to be a Pharaoh….then he will find a Moses in me.” Asari Dokubo has identified with the current agitation by Nnamdi Kanu and the Indiginous People of Biafria (IPOB). According to Dokubo, Ijaws are an integral part of Biafra. He appears not to want to be outdone by this new wave led by Mr Nnamdi Kanu. How will President Buhari’s administration handle this double thronged attack? We may even be correct to actually call it a tripple pronged attack if we add the new ‘Odua Radio’ saga into the mix. People called and still call Asari Dokubo a noise maker. People are calling Nnamdi Kanu a noise maker. Funny enough, President Buhari also called his ministers noise makers. Is Nigeria safe with all these noise makers? Is it not time to retrace our steps and restructure this country so as to find lasting peace? Public celebration of Christmas has been banned in Oil rich Brunei, a tiny nation on the island of Borneo. Brunei PM banned public celebrations of Christmas, wearing of Santa’s hats and costumes to protect the Islamic faith, thereby preventing Muslims from converting to Christianity. Anyone caught violating the rule will spend 5 years in jail. This is what Brunei Ministry of Religious Affairs said: “These enforcement measures are … intended to control the act of celebrating Christmas excessively and openly, which could damage the aqidah (beliefs) of the Muslim community” The statement said non-Muslims disclosing or displaying Christmas celebrations violated the penal code which prohibits propagating religion other than Islam to a Muslim. This is the height of religious intolerance. See more information at http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/celebrating-christmas-publicly-will.html cc lalasticlala

It sounds like tale by moonlight but it is indeed a verifiable fact that a woman was delivered of a live turtle and a padlock in the presence of thousands of worshippers during a church service in a Lagos church. Time was 5am on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 during the Rhema water programme organised by the Elijah Faith Assembly Church, Ajao Estate, Lagos. The incident took many, including the church’s Overseer, Prophet Chinonso Favour Aniebo by surprise. Many took to their heels as a result of fear and the irritation of seeing a pool of blood that gushed out of the private part of the woman, Mrs Cassandra Amaka Obi, before the turtle eventually came out. After the incident, the 22-year-old Cassandra from Ihiala, in Anambra State, lay flat on the floor of the church, while deliverance prayers were going on to resuscitate her, after some hours of going into coma. The story of Cassandra, who is nursing a six-month-old baby girl, who she took to the church that fateful day, will arouse fears and probably sympathy in any human. She told Saturday Sun that her problems started when she was a little girl under her parents in their Umuabanike village, Ihiala. According to her, her father, who is a strong and known native doctor in the area, initiated her into the occult through his shrine when she was seven years old and started using her to execute his job. “When I was nine, my father invoked both the key and the turtle in my body, so that I will be strong spiritually to assist him in his shrine. That time, this turtle was in his barn and was smaller. I really knew the time he did the whole thing, but as a child, I did not know the implication. Then, among all the children my father has, I was the closest to him, so he decided to use me in his shrine. Sometimes, after preparing charms, he would send me to go and throw them into the river or anywhere he wanted me to send it to. And, because he used to give me some money, I was happy working with him”, she stated. Cassandra said she continued working with her father in the shrine until she clocked the age of 17 when someone came to ask for her hand in marriage, but her father bluntly refused her getting married. Her words: “At 17, I thought I had served my father well and should, therefore, marry, but surprisingly, my father objected to that, insisting that I should not get married at all, instead, I should stay at home and have as many children as I liked, in order to assist him in his job. But, I refused. After much pressure, he managed to allow me get married. My husband fulfilled all the marriage rites and on the day of our wedding, my father did not come to the church, he only appeared when we wanted to take photographs and he joined us. Could you believe that immediately we finished taking a photograph with my father, I did not get myself again, I lost my memory, pulled my wedding ring and threw it to my husband and told him that the marriage was over. I ran away and they caught me. In fact, our guests and everyone present were surprised. Even when they managed to take me to my father’s house, I wanted to jump the fence. It was when my father brought kola nuts and prayed that I regained my senses and followed my husband that I was able to calm down.” That could be said to be the beginning of Cassandra’s marital problems. After about six years of their marriage, she could not conceive probably due to the padlock, turtle and other dangerous concoctions her father put in her body. She and her husband went to so many places in search of solution, and lots of money, energy and time were wasted, but all were fruitless. Meanwhile, as these were going on, Cassandra did not reveal to her husband what was wrong with her. “Though, I knew that all the things inside my body were the cause of the problem we were having in our home, I did not want to tell my husband because he will be scared and may decide not to continue with the marriage.” continuation of the story at http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/woman-delivers-live-turtle-vomits.html cc lalasticlala ishilove mynd44

A new hydrogel-based condom that contains antioxidants has been invented by a team of Indian-American scientists at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. Not only does it contain plant-based antioxidants, which kills the HIV-virus in case of condom breakage but it also uses antioxidants to enhance pleasure. Experts say it is the new big player to join the fight against AIDS "We are not only making a novel material for condoms to prevent the HIV infection, but we are also aiming to eradicate this infection if possible. Supercondom could help fight against HIV infection and may as well prevent unwanted pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases. If we succeed, it will revolutionize the HIV prevention initiative" Choudhury, the lead researcher and assistant professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center's Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, said The researchers hope to test the condom within the next six months and then get it released for general usage. Speaking in Abuja, Kachikwu said reports that subsidy has been removed and pump price fixed at N97 is false. “So when you heard a report that fuel will sell at N97, that was not a correct report, I did not say that refined product will sell at N97 that is not what I said,” Kachikwu said. He added that removal of any amount or an addition cannot be done randomly but intellectually to the benefit of the nation and its citizenry. “I said that between a band of N87 and N97 we are going to be looking at prices, today the prices are largely close to N87 so there might be no need to change prices, by January it may well go up slightly, by March it may go up slightly, by April it may come down, so it is all a dynamics of what the price of crude is. “Myself and PPRA we will sit down and be able to announce what price PMS should sell for in January, we do not anticipate any major shift,” he said. On the state of the refineries in the country, Kachikwu said the refineries are still not working but hopeful, Port Harcourt and Kaduna refineries may be able to bring up some products. He also said that until complete maintenance is finished on the refineries there can be no production. This he also said, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) ministry is planning on repairs of the refineries through external funding and technical partners to achieve this. The minister said: “I have tried, I said that at the national assembly, I have left this vague age of subsidy and I have moved on to price regulation which is how do you modulate prices to reflect the currency of good prices at any given time.” He also said there is so much emotions around the removal or existence of subsidy. “But my focus is that the federal government should not spend as much as it is spending every year on subsidy; so first is an issue of a responsibility approach, this year like I said we have spent over N1 trillion and given the state of the finance the government met, we have to save money through every means and what I am trying to help to do is not to continue to spend that amount of money. We all know, the president himself have a lot of energy and rightly said we have to make sure that whatever we do, poor people do not pay a huge price for it,” the minister said. He said subsidy removal or its addition is not going to be done randomly but intellectually to fit in to the current market. He added that the present administration is set to do things that will in a way be palliative and help intellectually proffer solutions to issues on ground as it affects the masses. Just the mention of that name "e-banking", the first thing that comes to many peoples mind is fraud, they will still my money etc, while others think convenience. Whether for convenience or control, e-banking is an aspect of banking that nobody can resist. E-banking is simply another name for electronic banking. Simply put, it is the use of electronic devices and gadgets to perform banking transactions. Today, there are many different electronic devices which can be used for financial transactions. These devices include smart phones, tablets, phablets, computers, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Point of Sale (PoS) machines and many others. E-banking has made banking more convenient for bank customers as they can now perform banking transactions without actually visiting a bank branch. Consider the below info. as just a few of numerous transactions which can be done via e-banking: 1. Transfer of money from one bank account to another. This can be done for accounts in the same bank or accounts in different banks using your phone, tablet or computer. 2. Withdrawal of money from your bank account through an ATM. This can be done with your bank card such as your Visa, MasterCard or Verve card. 3. Paying for goods or services on a POS Machine. These machines can be found at supermarkets, fast food or other restaurants, hotels, salons and many other places. Once you have your bank card with you and there is also a POS machine available, you can pay for the items you have bought or services you have used. You do not need cash. 4. Transfer of money, checking of your account balance, and payment of bills through the ATM. 5. Printing your bank statements, checking your account balances and many other transactions through internet banking, on your computer, laptop or tablet. Interestingly, there are very many banking services which are now offered electronically and many people use them comfortably. However, there are a number of bank customers who are reluctant to use e-banking services due to security concerns. It is imperative to note that banks invest huge resources on their e-banking channels to ensure that their customers are safe. As a customer, there are also a few things which you need to do to protect yourself when using e-banking services. Firstly, your most important protection is your PIN or password. Do not use a PIN or password which fraudsters can easily guess. Don’t use your date of birth or those of your family members as a PIN or password. Don’t use one PIN or password for many accounts. Don’t not use your banking password for your social media accounts, for example for Facebook or Twitter. Lastly, change your PIN or password once you suspect that someone else knows it.
