Prof. Wole Soyinka in an interview, revealed that he supported President Muhammadu Buhari during the elections, adding that he does not regret taking that decision. Soyinka also said that Nigeria would not have existed, if former President Goodluck Jonathan won the just concluded elections. He said this on a Channels Television programme- Channels Book Club He said “We were left with two credible contestants in terms of catchment area for the nation. We had reached, in my view, the bottom. I became convinced that if this country underwent four more years under President Jonathan, the country would run aground completely. I looked at the record and said this cannot go on, this has to stop. “Then I looked at this man who had contested elections three times before and said he would not contest anymore and then decided to throw his hat in the ring. I talked to people and I said do you know what you’re doing?” Soyinka also said “And after weighing all the options, I said let’s try a new one. And since in electoral terms, he was the one, I guardedly, with reservations, announced that no, not a continuation under Jonathan. “And so very reluctantly, I want this on record, because I made it quite clear, I weighed the two of them and I said this nation stands a better chance under Buhari. And what has been coming out now? Look at all that has been coming out? Look at the figures (loot) which virtually hammer one into the ground just the sheer enormity of the robbery of this nation that is getting exposed progressively. It shows that we did not make a bad choice.” - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/i-do-not-regret-supporting-buhari-prof.html#sthash.LCdC2Tb6.dpuf cc lalasticlala ishilove mynd44

A Press statement from Ekiti State Governor Fayose reads as follow.... Mr Ayodele Fayose has raised the alarm that Nigeria under President Buhari was fast becoming a shame, describing the failed attempt by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to manipulate the Bayelsa State governorship election as clear invitation to anarchy. The governor, who said it was shameful that the two elections conducted by INEC under Buhari’s kinsman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu were inconclusive, called on all well-meaning Nigerians and the international community to rise up in condemnation of the APC government’s plot to destroy democracy in the country. Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose who said everything under Buhari was becoming inconclusive, added that; “If in three days, INEC could not conduct credible election in Bayelsa State of just eight local governments, one wonders what will happen during the general elections in 2019. The simple reality is that INEC under this Buhari’s kinsman, Prof Yakubu, who is fast becoming the classical example of incompetence cannot guarantee free and fair elections in this country.” He saluted the courage of the people of Bayelsa State, describing them as “worthy heroes of democracy that stood their ground against agents of darkness that were prepared to short-change them by imposing a governor they do not want on them.” Governor Fayose also congratulated the Bayelsa State Governor and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Seriake Dickson for having the people of Bayelsa behind him, adding that “the people of Bayelsa have shown that their power is more than that of the Abuja political oppressors.” He urged the governor and Bayelsa people not to lose their guard, saying; “Now that they have failed in their bid to use one local government to rig themselves to power, they will surely go back to their evil drawing board to plan fresh assaults. “Therefore, Bayelsa people must henceforth sleep with their two eyes opened because the APC thieves come not only to steal, but to kill and that can be seen in the way and manner they murdered over 20 people just because they wanted power at all cost.” While warning on the consequences of destruction of the legacy of free, fair and credible electoral process bequeathed on Nigeria by Dr Goodluck Jonathan, Governor Fayose said; “Nigerians, especially we in Ekiti State are already taking a cue from the Kogi and Bayelsa States experience and are getting prepared for future elections.” - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/nigeria-has-become-shame-under.html#sthash.62DlmkOS.dpuf cc lalasticlala

According to The Whistle, the two spat on each other, with the Ghanaian president lashing out at Obasanjo at the African Investment Forum in Westminister, London which held the December 1 and 2. The exchange of words degenerated to insults and name calling as John Mahama openly called Olusegun Obasanjo “an idiot” and a “stupid buffoon”. Obasanjo had openly accused the Ghanaian President and his government of financially contributing $12m to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign. He also accused President Mahama of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa. It however took the prompt intervention of Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni to calm down their tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room to prevent the insult degenerating to a boxing war. The forum was attended by African heads of states including like Malawian president, Matata Ponyo Mapon, the prime minister Democratic Republic of Congo, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, H.E. Thomas Boni Yayi of the Republic of Benin, H. E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Republic of Uganda and H.E. Charles Gaëtan Xavier-Luc Duval, deputy Prime-Minister Republic of Mauritius among others. Ministers, private equity firms and investors were also at the forum to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African economy. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/ghana-president-mahama-insults-obj-in.html#sthash.jHmeI09N.dpuf cc lalasticlala

A former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, at the weekend said about $60billion looted funds left Africa yearly. He said ex-Delta State Governor James Ibori attempted to bribe him with $15million in two big bags, but he resisted. Ribadu said the bribe was, however, deposited in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to serve as evidence against him. The ex-EFCC boss, who spoke at the TEDx Talk in Berlin, Germany, said although “anti-corruption war is the most dangerous work, this is one war worth fighting.” In the video clip, released on You Tube by Ribadu Media Office and transcribed by our correspondent, Ribadu said: “Do you know that every year, $60billion leaves Africa illegally? This figure is from the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA). “Billions are going out of Africa every year. I’m a Nigerian and I am from this paradoxical continent where today our most notorious export in Africa is stolen money.” He explained how he resisted the $15million bribe from Ibori. Ribadu said: “Ibori approached me with $15million to stop his investigation. I called my people because the money was in big bags, which two people could not carry and we deposited it in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as evidence against him. “I arrested Ibori and prosecuted him. Since his friend was in power, they removed me, sent me to a school as a student where I was once a teacher. “They made attempts on my life, but they did not know I was using a bullet-proof Honda car. As God would have it, ex-President Umaru Yar’Adua died. Ibori escaped to Dubai from where he was taken to the United Kingdom for trial. He is serving a jail term in the UK.” On the trial and conviction of ex-Inspector-General of Police Tafa Balogun, the former EFCC chairman said the case was a by-product of the investigation of Emmanuel Nwude, who duped a Brazilian bank of $254m. He said: “The case of Nwude made us to be more determined. In the course of his case, I stumbled on an account belonging to my boss, Tafa Balogun. I arrested him, he was tried and convicted, and I recovered enough from him. “We also investigated and tried about 49 chief executives of banks. Fighting corruption is a war and if you are in a war, you must go for the big targets.” - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/ribadu-speaks-on-60b-looted-funds-15m.html#sthash.yKEl0QrR.dpuf cc lalasticlala

The National woman leader of the All Peoples Congress (APC), Ramatu Tijani Aliyu was involved in a ghastly motor accident around Gwarinpa expressway in Abuja. The accident occurred on Thursday, December 3rd around 7pm when she was heading back to her Abuja home from Kaduna where she earlier visited for an assignment. In a telephone chat on Friday, the obviously weak woman leader said it was God that saved her from the accident which was caused by a drunk driver. “A drunk driver left his lane and came to our lane and hit our car, I have taken injections and I am so tired, it was not a good experience for me after I have travelled safely for hours and on getting closer to my house this happened. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/omg-apc-woman-leader-ramatu-tijani.html#sthash.MBeUCq4d.dpuf cc lalasticlala

Sahara reporters are in trouble ooo why are they lying for popularity? |
The senate on Thursday December 3, 2015 has lashed out on all social media users especially online media houses. This was contained in a point of order raised by Dino Melaye representing Kogi West, aimed at online media platform Sahara Reporters. Melaye pointed out that untrue stories were published against him and the senate, which should not be taken in a trivial manner. He said: “While I celebrate the social media as one of the actors, this senate should not be blackmailed. The senate is a sacred hallowed chamber. The bill moved yesterday by Ibn Na’allah has been misconstrued by the same people. This senate should not be quiet about it.” Most lawmakers who supported the motion stressed the truth in false publications being a common practice in the present age. Senate leader, Ali Ndume, while giving his contributions, said the publications of false stories was gradually worsening in the country. He also added that the senate was a lawmaking body that should hold people responsible for their actions. ” It is not only Sahara reporters, there are other online platforms that wake up and post all sorts of things. At a point, one of the online platforms accused me of buying 400 golf cars for Boko Haram use, he added. Biodun Olujimi representing Ekiti state, who supported the motion, also expressed her disappointments. She added that she had to exit all the social media platforms because of these problems. The senate president, Bukola Saraki, who also supported his colleagues, said: “We all are in support of freedom of speech but as a senate we should not be blackmailed. You can’t write false stories just because it is social media.” - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/senator-dino-melaye-blast-sahara.html#sthash.F9fo5MIp.dpuf cc lalasticlala

Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, the immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) has spoken up on allegations that he is one of the sponsors of the ongoing protests by pro-Biafran agitators. In a statement issued by his media aide on Thursday, December 3, 2015, Sam Nwaobasi, the former Senate president informed that he is neither under house arrest nor any form of investigation. “We find it despicable that some people have taken it upon themselves to disparage, embarrass, ridicule, insult and indeed incite the public against Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, since he left office as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, through publication of bare-faced lies, fabrication of baseless stories and peddling of rumours on phantom issues that make no meaning or sense. “We have resisted the temptation to join issues with these gangs of debased characters. However, there is a limit to what can be ignored. “Sen. Anyim is not sponsoring, has not sponsored and will never sponsor any protest by any group against the Government or our dear country Nigeria,” the statement read. Nwaobasi also informed that the senator is being investigated for any such allegation, warning therefore that those behind the ‘dastardly and mischievous acts’ should stop forthwith. He added: “They must bear in mind that those who rise up against an innocent person are only setting themselves up for a fatal fall.” - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/anyim-pius-anyim-speaks-up-on.html#sthash.BEnaR1kV.dpuf cc lalasticlala

Estranged wife of popular Lagos Pastor, Chris Oyakhilome, Anita, yesterday December 2nd, took to her blog to thank God for pulling her out of mess and making her lead a life now free from abuse. Anita and Chris Oyakhilome have been separated since last year. What she wrote below ... "December is the last month of the year I start every month thankful and for this month of December I am eternally grateful. I am worthy of love, to give and receive. I have value and self-respect, no one has the ability to oppress, suppress or depress me. I am enough and complete in God. My today is better than yesterday. I have come to a place of wholeness, strength and joy. God pulled me out of mess; I have a happy life free from abuse. No one can take the place of God; he is sovereign and reigns forever. Man is mortal and his days on earth are numbered. When the end comes, it is a glorious thing to return to our maker, to dwell in His holiness and truth. The end of the year brings a rebirth of another year. The death of something can be the rebirth of another thing. All is not lost. Whatever happens in your life, no matter how distressing things might seem. When darkness appears endless, watch out for that tiny spark of light, when you can muster up the courage to thank God for closed doors. In the process of counting your blessings, you find joy!". - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/god-brought-me-out-of-mess-i-now-have.html#sthash.q0raAiu7.dpuf cc lalasticlala

Mrs Risikat Bamidele, a 37-year-old housewife has lost her pregnancy after a Divisional Police Officer in charge of Kemta Idi-Aba Police Headquarters in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, allegedly brutalised her. The DPO, identified as CSP Samuel, was said to have assaulted the woman on Saturday night for “daring to make a phone call” in his presence. You still think police is your friend? Read on.. The incident occurred barely two weeks after the Inspector- General of Police, Solomon Arase, warned officers and men of the state police command against unprovoked assault on innocent civilians. Speaking with our correspondent on her hospital bed at the State Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta, Mrs Bamidele said she lost her nine-week-old pregnancy owing to the torture received from the DPO. The victim, who is a nonteaching staff member of Catholic Comprehensive High School at Onikolobo, Abeokuta, disclosed that she was at the police station in respect of a matter involving her husband, Tunde Bamidele. Writhing in pain, Bamidele explained that she wanted to put a call across to her brother- in-law when the police chief descended on her with repeated slaps and jabs. According to her, the DPO later ordered her detention which was effected by a junior police officer. She said: “When I got to the police station, my husband gave me his phone that I should call his brother. When I was calling, I just saw one man; I never knew he is the DPO. He said ‘you are very stupid, you are phoning after 8 (pm). You don’t know we don’t phone here after 8 (pm)?’ “I apologised that I wasn’t aware I shouldn’t call even when other officers were there and they didn’t stop me. “He forcibly took my phone and called a police officer to arrest me. They harassed me and pushed me and my husband had to rush out shouting ‘she is pregnant, don’t push her.’ That was when the man started slapping and shouting at me.” Bamidele added that she suffered serious stomach pains all through the night following the assault. - See complete story and more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/pregnant-woman-loses-her-life-over.html#sthash.wpcvycP6.dpuf

'Does size matter?' Now that is a question without a clear-cut answer. Guys will smaller members are often worried about how they come across to a lady in bed. In fact, most men already believe they are doomed. And while some women do admit that this is cause for worry, others are finding ways to enjoy their less endowed partners. So, how do you take advantage of this 'little' situation? Here are are a few benefits to having a good time when your man's penis is on the smaller side. 1. More mouth action: Most women swear that men with smaller penis give the best head. So if you’re the type of lady who loves nothing more than the smooth caress of a loving, eager to please tongue between her legs, then who needs a big penis? Who needs a penis at all? 2. Less jaw ache: They do not call it a blow 'job' for nothing. It really is work. Giving head to a smaller penis can be a breeze compared to the sometimes overwhelming, long winded, jaw aching, sucking action that comes with orally stimulating a larger penis. Experimenting with different techniques and depths is also a lot easier to get your mouth around a small willy, than trying to work your magic with an extra thick penis. 3. Pain free sex: Most women with smaller vagina opening usually do not enjoy sex with men with larger joysticks. Small penis sex is so much easier when you compare it to thrusts that are too deep, odd angles, and coping with feeling like you are being stretched or ripped. Not to mention dealing with the acute discomfort of having a long penis head, extend way past its welcome zone in your vagina, and bump it’s way against the back of your cervix. It’s enough to drive you straight in to the arms, or rather the pants of a man with a more modest penis. The passing of the All Progressives Congress(APC), gubernatorial candidate, Abubakar Audu, and resulting determination of his substitution, Mr. Yahaya Bello, hosts put the party in turmoil. The APC, taking after INEC's authorization, picked Bello as a substitution for Audu. Then, Mr. James Faleke, the running mate to late Abubakar Audu has likewise asked INEC and APC, to name him the gubernatorial candidate of the party in Kogi. As indicated by Punch Newspapers, APC is thinking that its hard to deal with these contradicting voices in the state. An APC National Working Committee source who identifies with Punch said "I can affirm to you that we are attempting to determine the chaos made by our choice on Bello. We are attempting to contact Faleke and the Audu's camp. Truly, we have not succeeded. Faleke is not prepared to pull back his interest and numerous individuals are demanding Audu's child, Mohammed." Likewise identifying with newsmen on the APC peace move, Faleke said "Every one of these discussions about the APC contacting me are unwarranted. Nothing like that has happened. They have not contacted me for anything. It is false and not genuine. "Regardless, what reason will that serve? I have made my position clear in the letters I composed to INEC and the national director of the party. "I have composed a second one, and I am stating that the designation of Bello isn't right; we won't acknowledge it. We remain by the position as expressed in those letters. "What's more, for the advantage of uncertainty, I am on this undertaking with (Mohammed Audu)) the child of my late boss.
