A pastor was struggling to prepare his sermon and didn't want to be disturbed by his five year old daughter, so he removed a map of the world from his study, tore it into pieces and gave it to her daughter to assemble with the promise that he would answer all her questions and play with her when she was done.

He knew she would never be able to fix it. To his amazement, in less than five minutes, she returned to him in his study with the map in perfect shape, every continent and every country in its place. The surprised father asked, ''Honey, you don't know anything about geography, so how did you fix the world so easily and quickly ?

The five year old girl smiled sweetly and replied, ''The picture of JESUS was at the back of the map and I knew that if I have JESUS in the right place, the whole world would be in perfect shape.''

That was just the right inspiration he needed for his sermon. He thanked his daughter and prepared a powerful sermon on the subject Fix your world by placing JESUS at the right place.

Just place JESUS in his rightful place and your life will be in order. I hope you understand this just like I do.

Spread it to the world, let them know that THEIR WORLD CAN NOT BE COMPLETELY FIXED WITHOUT JESUS.

But I'd rather we give this government the benefit of the doubt that they see what we can't see.

You say these are respectable people? Well they used to be until they sold that respect on the altar of greed by selling justice to criminals so they can walk free.

If you know how powerful these judges are and the extent to which corruption can fight back you'll be patient and watch what the presidency is doing. Don't forget we have a highly qualified SAN as our VP and a staunch Christian too. I want to believe they know what they are doing.

Our support should be with the presidency in their bid to rid our nation of corruption and not with those who have mortgaged the future of Nigeria.

The tactics they have used so far is OK. There's the element of surprise and shock. This way they won't have time to bury evidences or something.

Have you ever wondered why a man who stole a loaf of bread or chicken was sentenced to death and the former governor of Edo state Igbenedion who stole billions of dollars was just give a small fine to pay and released?

Our judges are corrupt and they deserve to have the spotlight on them. At least for once.

I am not supporting the corruption in government, hell, let them arrest and prosecute them. But what am against is the manner in which this arrest or should i say hunt is been carried out.

For God sake, these are respected people that r not running from the government. They are the government. Why breaking walls and breaking into their house by 1am? Cant u smell something

Things are really happening oo and too all this ladies who just want to settle down by all means without even doing the due diligence, you will definitely end up regretting your actions. Can you imagine what caused this lady's madness, her husband of 6 years is a dead man.

Usually stuff like this happen only in movies, but it seems this one actually happened for real, as a woman is reportedly crazy as a result of her own personal experience. The woman identified as Mrs Grace Amadi, recently discovered she had been married to and raising two children with a man who reportedly died as far back as 2002.

According to reports, Grace who had been married to her husband identified as Tony for six years, was said to have lived peacefully with him. The pair had their two daughters in 2011 and 2013 and lived in waterside in old Port Harcourt town, where Tony also had a job he went to every morning.

Grace got to know about her husband’s death following a visit from someone who claimed to be his distant relative, who had come to the house when Tony had left for work, bearing old pictures of him. Grace was said to have started screaming in disbelief, fear and anger, while also throwing herself on the ground repeatedly in a bid to inflict injuries on herself, causing her neighbours to gather and see what caused her anguish.

Cameroon legendary football star Rigobert Song is not dead, it has now been confirmed from super sports Reuters that the information is a Hoax. Mr. Song is very much alive and people should confirm things before the post trash.

Rigobert Song Bahanag is a Cameroonian footballer. He was a member of the Cameroon national team between 1993 and 2010. Known for his defensive skills, Song usually plays as a centre back but can also operate at right back. Nigerians will never forget his name in a hurry because he used to be a huge problem for Nigerians in that defense position.

Nigeria entertainment industry loose yet another icon. CEO and founder of Popular multipurpose studios and entertainment outfit, Chris Jeyibo, famously known as Chris Koga is dead. Jeyibo died in a fatal auto mishap at the early hours of Friday. It was gathered that Chris who was on his way from an event in his white Range Rover Evogue crashed into a parked truck around Magodo, Lagos.

Meanwhile, following the tragic incident, his office located at Oregun road, Lagos, has been shut down. It was gathered that Koga Studios will remain shut till Monday October 10, 2016 pending the time his wife and kids arrive Nigeria. It was learnt that all burial plans will remain on hold till his immediate family arrives in Lagos in the coming days.

Reacting to the incident, popular singer, Innocent Idibia, otherwise known as Tubaba described the death as very sad and shocking. He said, “I still can’t bring myself to believe it. Life is truly too short. RIP Chris. There are no answers.”

On her part, Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus said, “I cannot believe my friend and big brother Chris Jeyibo (Koga Studios) is gone. He believed in me and my Stella Damasus Arts foundation when others laughed and thought my dreams were too big.

“The first exam my students had was done in a huge studio that really made them feel special, Uncle CHRIS gave me his huge studio for free and didn’t charge me a dime.

“He contributed to the foundation when there was no money to keep running it. God knows best. My prayers go out his wife and children, his staff and friends. No one knows when his or her time is up. Be prepared and stay alert. Jesus is the only way to everlasting and eternal bliss.”

It is getting so hot everyday in South Africa. Wonder what Mandela will be thinking in his grave right now. Versity students bares it all as they protest hike in school fees. Recall that this is not the first time the students have protested over the cost of university education. Just last year, the students clashed with university authorities forcing the government to freeze fee increases and set up a commission to look into the education funding system.

Reports has it that the students even clashed with arm enforcers purporting the police to fire stun grenades, rubber bullets and teargas at hundreds of students who marched through the university’s campus in Johannesburg, performing the “toyi-toyi” protest dance made popular during the struggle against oppressive white rule.

About two people were arrested earlier when police moved in to enforce a court order on public gathering at the university.

Hmmmm is this recession global??

The police on Wednesday arraigned a 27-year-old man, Idowu Izebokhale, in an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly dressing as a woman in public. Izebokhale, a hairdresser of Omiyale Railway Quarters, Ibadan, was in court for alleged acting and dressing as ladies in public place.

The Prosecutor, Sergeant Salewa Hammed, told the court that Izebokhale on September 23 at about 2AM at Molete Area, Ibadan, acted indecently in public by wearing ladies clothes and apparels. Hammed said Izebokhale was seen in public place at the middle of the night wearing brazier, wig, earrings and dressed as a lady waiting for who would pick him.

He said the offence contravened Section 231 (1) of the Criminal Code Cap 38, Vol.II, Laws of Oyo state 2000, which on conviction attracts two years imprisonment.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Chief Magistrate, Abiona Richard, granted bail to the accused in the sum of N150,000 with one surety in like sum. Richard said the surety must be a blood-relation with tax clearance, and adjourned the case till December 19 for hearing.

Political killings have really taken a toll in Rivers State. The former Councillor of Yeghe area of Rivers State has been murdered in cold blood.

Hon. Boris Neenwi was heading home with his siblings (2 males & 1 female) on Sunday the 2nd of October 2016 but on getting to Nonwa Junction in Ogoni, some suspected hired killers shot and killed all of them at the spot.

The deceased who was a prominent Chieftain of the APC party in Rivers State just finished his law program at the University of Maiduguri and was preparing to see his party succeed in the rescheduled National Assembly rerun elections in the Ogoni area when he was murdered.

Investigation is still ongoing to expose the criminals behind the senseless murder.

I am indeed surprised personally about this news but what can i do and not blog about it so that people will understand what is going on in their country. Is is unfortunate that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation on Monday painted a gloomy outlook for Nigeria’s economic fortunes as it disclosed that the country’s crude oil and gas reserves were fast depleting.

The NNPC in a statement in Abuja, therefore, begged oil and gas exploration companies, professionals and other stakeholders to focus on increasing the nation’s oil and gas reserve base to match national aspirations to increase oil production.

The Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Dr. Maikanti Baru, who disclosed this when the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists hosted him in Abuja, also expressed the readiness of the NNPC to partner with stakeholders in the oil and gas industry to grow the nation’s fast depleting reserves in order to increase productivity in the petroleum sector. Baru said: “Our national gas demand forecast to year 2020, domestic plus export, indicates a rapid growth to 15 billion Standard Cubic Feet Per Day, meaning current reserves level can only sustain that production for 35 years, if we do not increase the 2bscfd gas reserves base which require three trillion cubic feet (tcf) to replace production yearly.”

It was also revealed that the country’s drive for industrialization risks being truncated as Baru stated that the country’s aspirations were to increase oil production to four million barrels per day and meet gas demand of 15 billion standard cubic feet per day by 2020, required for industrialization and consumption. He further lamented that less than three per cent of all oil wells drilled in the Niger Delta Basin, both onshore and swamp, were deeper than 15,000 feet, adding that a greater number of these wells had not gone beyond the 10,000 feet as a high pressure regime seemed to be a limiting factor.

However, he stated that “some of our earlier drilled non-commercial holes could be turned around if we deploy requisite technologies; we need to change our perspective of risk as technology is advancing”. Baru further explained that the 2016 national average oil production of 1.9 million barrels was low, partly due to oil infrastructure vandalism. He stressed the need for stakeholders to share data and use common available resources to reduce cost of operations in the area of rig-sharing, vessel sharing and synergy in projects development, adding that this had become even expedient in this era of low oil prices and security challenges.

On frontier exploration, Baru said the NNPC was progressing in exploration efforts in the Chad Basin, the Benue trough and other frontier basins to shore up the reserve base of the country. In his own presentation, the President of NAPE, Nosa Omorodion, said the association was ready to support the NNPC in its drive to grow reserves towards increased production in all the frontier.

It was something else in Enugu State today as Rangers FC were crowned Nigeria league champions on Sunday, October 2 after defeating El-Kanemi Warriors 4-0 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu state. This feat by the Flying Antelopes have seen them emerge league champions for the seventh time, hence, equalling a record set by former champions Enyimba.

However, the electrifying atmosphere at Nnamdi Azikiwe was greeted with the presence of top celebrities in various fields as they trooped in to show their support for the Flying Antelopes. Nothing short of joy and jubilation trailed the blast of the final whistle.

Two Nigerian men were arrested on Friday, September 30th by a joint team of Delhi and Goa Police for cheating several people after befriending them on social networking sites. The suspects identified as Chukwuma Collins, 35, and Nicodemus Obinn, 27, used to befriend people on Facebook and then ask for money to send "necessary items" to their family members in UK.

Police said that the two used to cook up stories about the poor conditions of their family members living in western countries and ask the victims to help them with money. After receiving the money they broke all contact with the victims. Both have been involved in several cases of fraud and an FIR was registered against them in Goa cyber crime cell.

Bridget Fernandes Rai, a victim made a complaint to Goa Police, claiming to have been cheated of around Rs 8 lakh by the duo. She said that she had befriended Collins on Facebook and after a few days of chatting he started calling her.

Rai told the police that Collins started referring to her as his sister and asked for Rs 8 lakh to transfer some money and jewellery through a courier to his relatives. He claimed that the courier was stuck in legal processes at the customs department in Goa and he needed to get it delivered quickly as his wife had expired.

Rai agreed to transfer the money to his account. As soon as the money was transferred, Collins disappeared. After some time, Bridget received a call from the custom department, which raised questions regarding the parcel she had sent, and realised that she was duped.
