RiceProducers: Comments like this only come from citizens of 3rd world countries. Apart from the cowardliness/supine weakness in the suggestion, it is also so low IQ and unrealistic.
In what country has this ever happened?. Even US against Panama, there was resistance.
How does a man with a good dose of testosterone and a working mind even suggest this?
I am truly worried for the quality of human beings we are sharing the country with.
I won't result into insults with you, I will just assume you are ignorant and I advise you to gain knowledge thoroughly before spewing rubbish
NTSA: How can zelensky stop a war he didn't start.?
I understand he didn't start the war but he should have agreed to surrender to Russia to prevent this crisis. Russia is not interested in Ukrainian land, she's just concerned that Ukraine joining NATO will spell trouble for her as the U.S is at the helm of NATO affairs. Should incase you wonder what kind of trouble, check out how the U.S caused the ousting of Pakistan's prime minister Imran Khan by bribing Pakistani parliamentarians and how the U.S almost caused a Chinese crisis by inciting young politicians and the people in Hong Kong to protest against their government.
Covert1: For the record no Pak F-16 was shot down by Indian Mig-21. It wasn't a movie. The Pakistan Air Force won the recent air war with India and there exists empirical evidence to support these facts. It is one sided Indian propaganda that says otherwise. All US made Pak F-16s are accounted for which contradicts indian lies. Also it was a Pakistani J-17 that shot down the Indian Mig-21 from within Pakistani Airspace.
Although there were reports that the US department of defence denied honouring Pakistan's invitation to count it's F-16s physically and by the way you can't blame the downed pilot for the loss, MiG 21 is an obsolete aircraft but the leadership of Indian airforce did not deem it fit for retirement and scrapping. Nevertheless I'm just happy it was a JF-17 that shot down a Russian aircraft so for those ones who thinks Chad can r@pe our airforce with their MiG-29s, let's see that happen on the watch of our JF-17s or maybe not
kikuyu1: Their advance is slow and methodical. They don't want to alienate the J/Ukes and many ethnic Russians in the warzone. If it were the U.S. attacking Mariupol,Melitopol, Kherson, Lugansk, Lysychansk not one brick would've been left atop another by the time the B 52s were done!
pic 2 African lion 2021 exercise script that simulated a strike against S400 air défense systems and kilo 636 subs in Algeria
Is it just me or is anyone suspecting the US of trying to figure out how Russian weapon systems work behind the guise of conducting mock strikes on the Algerian equipments
Ukraine is winning on Western media while Russia is winning on the battlefield upon the Western sanctions and military aid given to Ukraine. Can we please give Russia and Vladimir Putin especially a resounding standing ovation.
Excuse me, North Korea is doing well??! How?! Nigeria is currently going through a lot. A sanction will only make things much harder and our disintegration faster. [/quote
Apart from Nigeria and Ghana, can you compare any other west african country to North Korea. Us getting sanctioned by the US doesn't mean we can't trade with any other country. The U.K wouldn't want to turn their back on us and even if they did, India and China will welcome us to trade with them. And it will even serve as an eye opener for us not to depend on anything foreign and we can start making our own.
Stormtrooper11: It actually is. Is there any other I missed? Maybe because it's too insignificant.
Russia and China have made significant influences, they deserve to be called super power too. Other rising powers are India, France and Turkey. And don't forget you can't be a world power forever. Germany, Japan, and The U.K once had the attributes during the periods of WW1 & 2 but not anymore. So from the recent global events, the days of US being super power might be numbered
Hear what a soldier in Ukraine said to NATO. You can also see the anger in his face. NATO got them decieved.
I really feel sorry for the Ukrainians. They have to go through this critical period because a "so called world power" is using them to destabilize a competition they don't want. Even the Russians are trying their best not to cause any collateral damage, they still take the Ukrainians as their own people. If the confrontation was with the US, the FULL MIGHT of Russia would have been unleashed.
Thank God the AK 47 abi na OBJ 006 is being replaced by the Beryl M762. That Russian rifle is just too overused by, militaries, police forces, paramilitaries, terrorists and even by civilians for self-defense. It's used by virtually everybody.
JOSCOFELIX: oga USA is not the only super power abeg
You are sooo right. You can't just ignore Russia and China when talking about Super Powers. Speaking of super Powers, a few countries are uping their game to become one. I mean countries like France, India, Turkey have been making significant progress. I wish I could say the same for South Korea but they are under the influence of the US.
Stormtrooper11: You haven't heard about CAATSA act?! You wanna be sanctioned?!
Although it might be devastating for us, North Korea got sanctioned not just by the US alone, but by the West in General and they are doing well than some middle east and African countries. I think Nigeria will do better if it falls in that scenario. We have population advantage
That is if our next president is as dumb as Zelensky. Who are they to tell us what and what not to buy. What do they take us for, puppets. I pray we establish stronger diplomatic ties with Russia, China, Iran and even North Korea. America and their so called "political interests" have got me pissed
Covert1: Good detailed analysis, lot of work. This alternative point view of the war existed though with some here already. If you see Russia built in the context of war with NATO then it's no gainsaying Ukraine will bite the dust. I repeat again Zelensky should be brought out and given a good spanking for succumbing to NATO pressure to use his kinsmen as cannon fodder for their own national interests and not signing on the dotted lines of neutrality. 200 Ukrainian soldiers dead a day are conservative estimates some reports have at 500 a day, that's cataclysmic for a nation not just the military. That's why Putin from the beginning said Ukraine is only destroying its statehood. Now Ukrainian territory has irretrievably shrunk and what no one is saying is Putin might have another go at Kiev as a response to NATO enlargement and there's no stopping him.
Germany after WW11 had to basically import Italian and Turkish men to rebuild and replenish the country and to this day have special funding for women to encourage child birth to bolster its population numbers. That's what war does to you and many other things.
Nemesis4you: Most of which u mentioned are long drawn conflicts, not relevant in the context u mentioned
The world iss spinning in the way it always spinned - peace is the time u prepare for war
I think u slept through ur history classes
(and u got the belligerents list incomplete eg u left out US who fought literally the entire world )
What are you saying, there are still currently existing tensions between the countries I listed and as for the US we can't really say they have a grudge with any other nation although they've earned themselves some epitome of dislike from some other countries. With the way things are going all I can say is there "might" be a use of "Nukes" before 2034, "maybe".
Sudan launches air and land attack on Ethiopian forces in El Fashaga.
News comes after 7 Sudanese soldiers and a civilian were abducted and executed by Ethiopian troops
WAHALA I don't like the way the world is spinning at this moment. There are alot of tensions between nations. Turkey and Greece, Israel and Iran, China and Taiwan, India and Pakistan. As if the Russia-Ukraine war is not bad enough for Africa, Sudan and Ethiopia are already getting things ugly between themselves
First the "Ghost of Kyiv", now the "Goat of Kyiv". When Ukrainians are expecting good news of their troops securing victory, all they get is this nonsense. Well u can't expect less when your president is a comedian, everything is bound to be a joke
kabe1: What is the argument for Nigeria getting a Frigate (s) instead of buying more OPVs?
What will, hypothetically speaking 4 Frigates do for the Nigerian Navy, shouldn't we instead invest in Anti-ship systems like the Neptune or Bastion, then purchase additional OPVs like the OPV 76?
Fynline: Looks like the Dearsan light frigate behind the officer standing
Let's not deceive ourselves, we all know OPV 76 is not a light frigate, even with it's modular design and if it gets outfitted with weapons and sensors for any type of Sea based warfare it's tonnage still hinders it from being classified a light frigate
