One day, sometime last year and a half, I saw that Nairaland has logged me out, for whatever reason I don't know. And if it was a ban, I couldn't pin down what the offense was.
I tried logging in back severally, but to no avail. I repeated same process for several months with the same password I was using, but I still couldn't log in, so I abandoned the account.

Today I said let me try again by resetting password, and viola, I dived straight into Nairaland. And here I am!

But I will like to ask Seun and his mods the reason for logging a member out without any prior warning or information. You've been doing it repeatedly and I don't know what your reason(s) or motive(s) are. Please change!

Hi guys. Wow never knew there would be a day I'd be posting on this side of the forum. Glory be to God.

I'm finding my paths to spirituality. My goal has always been to establish a relationship, a Communion with God. Knowing that he is with me and hearing my prayers ...

But I've been struggling with Marijuana addiction. And the devil often use this addiction to remind me of how far I am from God's grace. Even in the middle of prayers .

It's unfortunate that I've made the habit a must do in my life and it is difficult to quit. Always thought a job could help me but I find myself using it as an escape to work stress.

I'm at a point where I feel that this habit is the only thing separating me from God's entire will in my life. I have deep convictions that I have a ministry to fulfill. I have faith that it will soon be a thing of the past , as I continually seek God's intervention.

Guys who has been in my shoes before? How did you overcome? How do you deal with the recurrent guilt ?

Simple solution is to look for a female friend to fake call you and pour out loving words to you with the phone on loudspeaker while she listens in the conversation. But pretend to be feeling uneasy by asking her to stop that your girlfriend is around that you love her too much and you don't want to ruin your relationship with her.

Secondly fake a WhatsApp chat with another person masquerading as a girl. Make sure the picture on the profile is prettier than your girlfriend's. In the chat make sure the person pleads with you to leave your girlfriend for her with promises of doing anything for you just to date her.

Let your girl see the chat but only accidentally..

This used to work for me like magic. You should see how my girl then was feeling insecure wanting to know where I was all the time.

i just want to share with you my experience with a very classy abuja chick on i met at jabi lake mall during december last year(2020),
i was indoor on december 25th all day,playing games, chatting, updating my blogs and other stuffs,so i made up my mind i will going out the next day, i had no place in mind at first,bu hey this is abuja, so the following day,i was still busy playing video games till i checked the time and it was 4:25pm,immidately i switched of the game,and went striaht to get some shower,i immidately got dressed and went outside,i quickly rememberd i gat no place in mind and since it was kind of late and i live in jabi, the best bet was the mall, i immidatly board a taxi from yoruba mosque to the mall 400#, on ariving families where already leaving i just went striaght to shoprite and bought two bread and one strawberry hollandia youghourt,i paid for my stuffs and immidately exited the mall, i was just about leaving i sighted a very pretty lady sitting in front of the lake..

But what I think is responsible for the delay is lack of funds or the funds are being embezzled .

I got mine about the fifth year. Believe me I saw several thousands of those cards where I went to pick mine. And I asked myself why the owners probably have not been contacted to come pick it up.

I think you guys should confirm if your cards are ready through the NIMC website or by using the code (try Google for the code, I have forgotten it now ). Then you can take it up from there.

That mechanic that didn't go to school is important to the economy than that graduate who read Linguistic or home economics. All he needs to do is to aim higher like INNOSON and in thirty years he would be famous for his craft. A mechanic fixes cars , trailers and maintains the vehicles for transportation which is an important part of the economy. What exactly does a Linguistic certificate offer to Nigeria? INNOSON was just a mechanic and spare parts dealer many years ago.

A plumber fixes pipes in houses and even in production firms. What exactly does a Philosophy graduate add to the economy. Without generator repairers the bad power supply channel would affect small and medium scale enterprises. What exactly do you add to the economy with your First class in Arabic studies?

It is no coincidence that even in developed countries more billionaires like Bill Gates , Mark Zuckerberg and even the richest man in China , Ali Baba either dropped out of the university before their sophomore year or never even had formal education. As a child , I listened to Steve Jobs and I learnt that he dropped out of school to master the craft of calligraphy .... that was all he needed to make iOS fanciful and Apple the brand your graduates want today. UFC President, Dana White , even has a more thuggish history than MC Oluomo and helped the investors of UFC in creating a billion dollar system for fighters.

You must understand how a system works. There will be at least 3 chartered accountants and 3 legal practitioners who work for that transport union headed by MC Oluomo just like they work for Billionaires Gates and Zuckerberg who have no University degree . However, those who know exactly what they are chasing are those who employ the graduates.


MC Oluomo generates more revenue for the government of Nigeria than even your Arabic or Philosophy Professor and Professors of at least 50 other courses who drag an industrial action for more than three decades. Throw that worthless certificate away and stop comparing University graduates who add nothing to the economy with career bus drivers and conductors who help in the transportation of people in an over populated urban city while generating revenue that the government will use to subsidize school fees.
