I will never forget that day. There was confusion everywhere in Lagos State. The foundation of our house in Yaba shook so much that people ran out and were running helter skelter. No body knew what actually happened. We were only seeing flashing lights, terrible sounds and a shaking! I thank God I didn't join in that run because majority of the people that took off that day, never made it back alive! Those glass buildings in Victoria Island cracked and crashed. You can imagine the impact all the way from Ikeja ooo. God! |
Mikedgr8:I'm a lady though. Yes, it would. |
Mikedgr8:Wipe your tears, ok? Even this time shall not last. In the interim, begin a lesson with neighbourhood children. Advertise yourself to their parents. Tell them you can also do home work for the pupil at a cheap rate for those that don't want to enroll in your lesson. I don't know how your neighbourhood is. The cost of laundry and dry-cleaning clothes is now on the high side. You can meet those working class big guys in your hood and tell them you can come to their place every Saturday to help wash for them at a fee. Just look for something you don't need capital to start. I wish my advise helps. Thank you. |
concho:Oga, stop sounding like a broken record and kick her wayward ass outta ya life already! Once a cheat, always a cheat. She's only terribly graduating in her act! |
No TV? |
Realman50:Don't backslide, bro. We still need you amongst us on this heavenly race. Listen to Apostle Selman tapes. Go to YouTube and listen to as many as you can. Then pray with Dr. D. K. Olukoya's tapes/preaching. They're still other great preachers out there. Someone has already mentioned T. D. Jakes. Come back and share your experience afterwards. |
ahnie:Sister Ahnie, please take it easy with my appetite. Don't make me salivate nitori Olorun. ![]() It looks so yummicious! |
DavidEsq:Yes ooo. We're observing him with 5D incase he doesn't know. ![]() |
Teach him a lesson ko, teach him a tutorial ni. The best lesson to teach him is to go get him a worthy wedding gift and keep praying for the success of his marriage, and stop living in the past, Sir. Make sure not to interfer in his marriage unless you want to give him fatherly advice on how to have a successful marriage. And lastly, don't try to mistreat someone's daughter with the excuse that she ought to have said no to the marriage until your grown son seeks your consent. Because that's what you'll finally do since your son refused to be controlled by you. She's now your daughter-in-law and must be well taken care of. We're all observing you from Nairaland, ok? |
Opanka44:Proudly Female, I'm not Bro. |
Opanka44:He also asked you to "Getat" in your other Blood Oath thread. Just ignore him. I think he's deliberately trying to get on your nerves. Cos the more you respond to him, the more overbearing he becomes. I hope you've finally sorted the issue on the aforementioned thread? |
I remember Mr. Fadeyibi in Joseph Ayo Babalola University that year! We chased the he-goat out of that Christian University. He couldn't believe what befell him because he was always bragging and threatening fire and brimstone to both male students who refused to sort him, and female students who refused to sleep with him. By the time we were done with him, he vamoosed completely from that community. May God bless our VC then, who didn't rest on his oars until judgement was served! |

preekahantas:Ssssssh Sis, please reduce the volume of your mic 🎤 before they flood your mention. Hahahahahahaha ![]() |
Habanero05:You're simply irredeemable! |
[quote author=Tayorshd87 post=125859474]Who told u that mumu so u mean Otedola too also wash ya sh for America to get rich including Dangote and Tony enumelu[/qu |
Habanero05:Then be humble and stop looking down on people back home. Some of the people you're rude to here are landlords and employers. And when next you want to collect loan, it's advisable you invest it on properties or something tangible. I mean it sounds so strange that you've to get a loan to buy a handset. It doesn't make sense at all. |
Not in all cases. Sometimes, being overly strict could make a child rebellious and highly inquisitive, thereby making them deviate from their parents initial strict upbringing. There should be a balance. |
My brother, your matter is a simple one. In this present day Nigeria, you don't even need pills, drugs, injections, bitter cola or nescafe to stay awake at night. All you need to do is get an 80 Leave Notebook, and one after another write down every thing you know that have gone wrong in Nigeria. Write down every item it's price has skyrocketed. Write down every single increment in school fees, house rent, etc, whether you're paying rent or not. Just keep on writing, ok? I know the long note might not be enough, but let's just limit it to that. Write down how much it costs now to cook a pot of food. After you've done writing, each night take out one problem, sit down at a corner and begin to think about it. Keep on thinking about it, and before you know it, it'll be past 7am then you go home and sleep. The next day, you pick the next problem on the list and repeat same. You'll see that your body system will begin to adjust to the hours you usually dedicate to think about the condition of Nigeria. And you won't feel sleepy during those hours again. And by the time you know it, your probation period would have long past while you're still not done thinking about those issues of Nigeria. And nobody will accuse you of sleeping on duty, and your job will no longer be at stake. Even those "evil colleagues reporters" will be wondering what miracle happened, you know. All in all, it's really not hard to overcome such simple thing as sleeping on duty in this present economy because thinking about the increment in fuel, school fees and gas, lasan, can take you up to a year, not to mention other problems. What I am trying to say here is that, you solely have yourself to blame if you ignore this useful advice and allow anything happen to your job because, despite everything, you still have the mind to sleep soundly at night! even with all the daily hardship in most families in Nigeria! I wish you well, bro. And don't ignore this useful advice. Please don't. |
Op, you haven't done anything wrong as far as it's with your spouse. And even after indulging in the sin of adultery/ fornication and/or any other sin for that matter, and you decide to go to church, there's still nothing wrong with it as far as you're genuinely going to repent, and not go back to committing such sin again, otherwise, it would appear that you're taking God's mercy for granted. And that can be dangerous. |
Father, I beg you in the name of your son Jesus Christ, may your daughter be found. Op, kindly extend this search to the hospitals. Per adventure there was an accident and they were rushed to a nearby hospital. |
Ok, lesson learned. |
I came across this chat on another social media platform. See pride all over the chat. Now what's his gain taking the life of a young promising guy? Let God, the ultimate Judge handle this issue in his own way. A terrible dark soul!
|
Prove you didn't. Who was threatening him? We want details of what transpired between Marlian Records and the young man. Why did he petition the Police? Just begin to sing already, ok? |
He looks horrible. I don't fancy light-complexioned men and I don't know why. From his facial expression, he appears to be wicked. |
Congratulations. I wish you rapid promotions in Jesus Name. |
ecolime:Not WhatsApp. He meant what's up? |
TemplarLandry:Happened in Akwa Ibom. |
even with all the daily hardship in most families in Nigeria!
