Are you directing me to the same website that uses the bible for West African history? Get a clue. If not for foreigners nobody in Nigeria would know who Ezekiel is today in southern Nigeria. Just because you claim that the Jews today are "impostors" and the original Hebrews were "black Yoruba" doesn't cover up all the problems with this rubbish theory. Your language sounds nothing like anything in the middle east. And this is not even considering looks, culture, basic history of the world, population, diet, and so on. There is no group on earth that has completely forgotten all the alphabets that came out of the middle east. And you're here basing your supremacy off of this? Get yourself together!

Comments like this is exactly why you need serious help. You are not a Jew. You are a Yoruba West African whose ancestors migrated across Central Africa from the Great Lakes of East Africa. You're just like any other ethnic group in Africa. You did not build Israel. Get over it.

amor4ce: The U.S has already started deploying troops in readiness for taking over Mali and from there move gradually into Nigeria according to the historical pattern. Foolishly the federal government and those wanna-be Jews are in support. So far the Hausa don't yet know what's in store for them unless they do the right thing and dissociate from their heifers. The eventual goal is to uproot and replace the original populations with oyinbo ones, and Ile-Ife is their ultimate target. Let's analyze more historical fractals to know the truth and set ourselves free from all the lies and confusion.

@ Tony Spike, I have read that in different parts of the world including Africa people remember that their ancestors met pygmy-like dark skinned peoples as the original inhabitants. Maybe they are the elves and the likes. What if the Irish are the descendants of Gehazi? We could try comparing aspects of Irish culture to ours, to Dahomey's.
Your mind is almost completely gone, stop here while you can.

Techwriter: I can see the way Christmas is celebrated round the world has become a threat to he religeon of Islam. The funfare (even some muslims in Nigeria participate)makes the Muslims feel they are loosing ground. In other to restore their confidence in the religion, they post threads like this on the front page on a Christmas day-In the peak of a Christians festival. What a tactics.

Has anybody notice the amount of copycatting in Islam?
1. They copied the Bible mainly from the Roman Catholic perspective anyway
2. They preach behind a pulpit on television, with audience sitting on a chair
3. They hold night vigils and Sunday services
4. Preach in the bus
5. Use fireworks/banger during Salah
etc
All these formerly christian practices have been adopted by Lagos Muslims in a bid to beat the competition. Funny enough christians still dont count them as competitors and have never adopted nothing from Islam.
And which one of those things did your ancestors create? Never adopted nothing from Islam including Universities and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9?

Ozonna: I believe we should enforce a building code, preserve our land for environmental and ecological reasons. As good as Sullivan Chime is, he doesnt want to build a park. A lush green grass + trees well maintained park for relaxation.

If Enugu is expanding as being said here, i think the Govt should come up with a PPP kind of deal to build residential high rise buildings for both middle and high income earners. Govt should also stop indiscriminate construction of "small"houses. Correct me if i am wrong, but i think we need these kinds of high rise residential and office buildings not just in Enugu but in Igboland because of our land problem
I agree with everything you said, except there's no land problem, yet, except in a few places. The problem we have is that Nigerians believe that development is getting rid of every bush and paving over every forest which is why the Polo park mall has no park, even though this mall could have been built anywhere else.

I think there's a need to worry about the environment since there's no kind of protection or conservation of it in Nigeria. The highrises is definitely a good idea, although if this is not done properly it may turn into a ghetto like Hillbrow in Johannesberg.

The pictures below are from Imo state among an Igbo tribe known as Urata. The buildings are shrines known as Mbari which are dedicated to many agbara (deities) in the Igbo religion. The Igbo religion states that no man is able to see an agbara and live so these buildings are "asked" for by the agbara through signs and paranormal activity. The agbara in Igbo religion is the medium between dibia (priests) and the highest creator force (Chineke). The images of the agbara are only personifications of the ideals of the agbara, so the earth goddess is a woman, the fertility goddess is a mother with many children, Amadioha is a man with lots of power, and so on.

So Calabar Efik (or those Efut and Ekoi follow?) feels superior to Ibibio, and Ibibio feels superior to Annang, and Annang feel superior to who? Ekoi? But Ekoi is the one that gave everyone culture from Ekpe to arts like the Calabar monoliths.

There was a genetic study done in the Cross River which showed that despite differences in language and small differences in culture, you all have actually mixed to the point of being one group.

In fact the title of the paper is:

Little genetic differentiation as assessed by
uniparental markers in the presence of
substantial language variation in peoples of
the Cross River region of Nigeria

Results

The Cross River region was shown to be extremely homogenous for both Y-chromosome and mtDNA markers with language spoken having no noticeable effect on the genetic structure of the region, consistent with estimates of inter-language gene flow of 10% per generation based on sociological data. However the groups in the region could clearly be differentiated from others in Cameroon and Ghana (and to a lesser extent Igbo populations). Significant correlations between genetic distance and both geographic and linguistic distance were observed at this larger scale.

So what does this mean? Akwa Ibom and (southern) Cross River state are one people with different languages and slight variation in culture, and also they are most related to the Igbo. Feda mor, ofe ogbono is green and brown.

PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by ezeagu(m): 12:12am On Dec 23, 2012
Nightshift: With the sitting of UNTH permanent site at Ozalla/Ituku, the federal govt.has already piloted Enugu expansion Southwards. Though the potential for industrial hub still remain Northwards. Can Awkunanaw clans lay low like their Ogui- Nike brethren as Enugu expands into their domain ?
We can discuss things here, but none of us control, at least none of us has declared it anyway. But if so, then expansion should only rest on the availability of these areas. I've already said what I think about expansion, but if it was needed then if nowhere is available then it will have to be in the northern and eastern areas.

afam4eva: The expansion of Enugu couldn't be as a result of population because Enugu's population is kinda static and not growing in astronomical proportions like other cities despite having better infrastructure than some other cities. The city as it is a civil service state and not commercial or industrial. That's why we need to expand the city having commerce and industry in mind. But in doing this, we should not destroy the idiosyncrasies of the current city.
Other cities in Nigeria are also going for this building around the problem approach. These commercial expansions are supposed to be happening in the middle of the city like it does in every developed country, and then industrial expansions will follow, mostly on the outskirts, but then again Enugu seems to suit being a financial center that serves the east and other cities that are already industrial. The population as you said are already into civil service, so it already has the sort of environment.

I'm against building out of where needs to be built, Singapore and Hong Kong has shown this is as unnecessary specifically for Enugu, and even some cities like New York and London that are on land are not even allowed to expand their urban areas any further by boundary commissions because of environmental and economic reasons. Even in that whole Independence area, there's so much unused land that should be used for both local and international business (like in Polo park), malls, parks (green ones) and business office headquarters.

For industry, I don't know why coal isn't being looked into anymore, but maybe it's for the better since it can cause a lot of air pollution.

This is just from someone who isn't in control of anything, anyway.

Nightshift: Enugu is expanding due to population pressure. Those Islands may not have that kind of pressure like Enugu. Spanish Island of Palma de Marllocca is one.
If expanding is really necessary (because I believe a well planned city can deal with any pressure), then it should be south west in order to shift towards the other cities.

But I still believe Enugu can deal with the population with the present limits.

PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by ezeagu(m): 10:11pm On Dec 22, 2012
Instead of expanding, Enugu should work with what it's got first. There are cities all over the world that are unable to expand due to being on islands that have much better infrastructure than Enugu.

Igbo presidency won't do anything, what Igbo land and whole of Nigeria needs is a strong Nigerian nationalist leader who is open to new ideas.
