People just have to get over it. Every foreigner that has ever heard about the war knows only two names, and that is Biafra and Colonel Ojukwu. Igbo people have certainly gotten over it, time for you all to do the same. |
dayokanu:He will always be celebrated, you will never get over it. Somethings never change. |
bump! |
Boring. |
As if typing on nairaland will lower your peoples poverty. |
Desola:Calm down, nobody said Yoruba wasn't important. ![]() Desola:May Chinese investments pass you and your kin for your (self-effacing?) racism. |
Onlytruth:Aww, that's harsh. But I also think some 'women' on nairaland are actually men.
Only Igbo men would sit on NL 24/7 arguing with women --> talk about having balls.
Who are the only women arguing on the nairaland politics section? Right. While all the Igbo women are in other sections. |
Onlytruth:The strength of Igbo society. ![]() |
Onlytruth: Onlytruth let's not curse the ladies, we can roast them, but never curse. ![]() |
All these stories by these Jungle newspapers sef. ![]() |
Desola:The "crap called Nollywood" is the reason why you as a Nigerian would be greeted with 'Igweeee!' in Kenya, in Jamaica, in the US. ![]() Desola:When genius is not put to good use what else is there to do, except beg, but we already know the situation behind that. ![]() Desola:This I will not accept as Igbo, unless the term 'Yahoo Yahoo' came from the east, which it didn't. Desola:Uh, the black gold that comes from the Igbo soil (and those who are related) makes Nigeria relevant. Desola:Go and ask the Chinese professors learning Igbo, or the other Africans listening to Igbo gospel music. Me, I don't know. |
Desola:Yeah, a nation with least poverty in Nigeria, and also one that has greatly made Nigeria popular. Desola:Abeg, stop whinging. If you don't like Igbo progress, screw face, but stay in your lane. |
Random part of Igboland, already about 4 mansions/story buildings. http://maps.google.com/?ll=5.86291,6.855072&spn=0.006873,0.006952&t=h&z=17 |
Desola:Igbo people run to other states because the competition is too hot in the east, sweerie. |
Desola:Your comments are certainly bothering to think that you have or have achieved anything to be able to keep running your fingers over a whole nation. Equally some massive psychological damage must be causing you to act like an escaped mental health patient in one of those Lagos markets. Desola:Ilu! Proverb! I guess there really is buck where there's muck. The next stage of evolution for Planet Desola is self reflection, or whatever they call it. |
Desola:You're going to have to work harder than that, reverse psychology is no longer effective. For filth (even though they don't make 5% of the beggars on Lagos' streets) they sure get quite a lot of attention from you, has anyone ever told you you'd make a good bin lady or maybe you can get a job just holding trash, or maybe just a job . . . . .(well, that isn't sitting abroad anonymously chatting shit you can't back because of your insecurities). Keep yapping dear, I'm sure many of your borthers are cheering your self on. |
So who is going to start posting Japan tsunami pictures for the Aba thread? Any takers? No? |
proudly9ja:It has already been confirmed that a significant amount of people in Maidugri support Boko Haram. |
Desola:You're going to have to beg a little harder to attract their investments. |
ak47mann:They went back when the war finished didn't they? That was after the biggest massacre in Nigeria. |
ezeagu: Concentrating on your Fulani masters chopping up your people in Ekiti would be a much more better way of using your time Eze, nna, when u go march go village with ya machette?
Aww, look at you getting all 'gigiddy' over an unconfirmed story. My advice still sticks. Sort yourself out. ![]() |

Again, if nothing is done, the pattern that is followed is that they start small and they replicate the same thing again until it's a Jos. This will happen in another part of Igboland, and when the right community is hit then Nigeria will catch fire. |
What I'll say is that I advise every southerner (any ethnicity) to leave whatever you're doing in the north and head back to Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Warri, Enugu, Asaba . . . if you can't, go and stay in the village. This is the last warning because there is something being planned here and when there's a reprisal in the south then your life is gone. Abuja is included. |
emmatok:Several billion dollars and about 10-20 years. |
If they care for their brothers in Lagos, they won't do this. |
Ibime:Ethnic politics, that's why. |
It's you that has time to be engineering google search research. |
