another desperate idiiot looking for redemption of her gone image, how dare you call people that are old enough to be your grandpa (e.g uche chukwumerije) stupid? I don't blame you, you lacked academic, moral, societal and basic education... go and meet your fellow mofo (Stella), tell her majority of Nigerians have known the fact that the senate never legalized child marriage, they only seek to remove d clause that recognize all married lady as of 'full age' regardless of their age... both of you can continue to dance naked in market square and display your foolishness to the entire world to see... baaastard pikin |
hmm.. is this jot the same shika ike that the powerful polithiefian just opened a boutique for? then I'm not surprised, I can't expect that oga to be sharing d same selling point wit dis poor dude... it's her life, if she like make she roast am for fire... #singing, will the circle be unbroken# |
IYA NGBALI: after me you the only sane person on board here, others are just hatersso because people are airing their own opinion which does not align with yours, you have the the gut to qualify them as " insane"... I won't attack you so that you won't have the chance to drag me to your level cuz I'm sure you will beat me inside your mud |
even almighty God appointed a judge(Samson) to judge his people.. if we are now saying who am I to judge, then it's better to resign. being a leader alone makes u a judge over others... the moment u are taking decisions for and on behalf of others means you are judging them |
our religious leaders are becoming more of politicians.... gone are d days the leader will open d bible and say to d followers that whatever you do contrary to this book is a sin... just d same as a pastor saying who am I to judge bode George... God bless the republicans who vehemently oppose dis homosexual act.. marriage is a union between a man and a woman... this is a big slap from d pope, instead of discouraging these people, he couldn't tell them the truth and he hopes to use this to gain political influence. I'm a xtian and I will never accept anything outside of the holy book. |
desperate people, so u prefer to spend #1.5million just to be US citizen? I think our people need orientation. some1 with slave mentality in Nigeria will always be a slave no matter wia he/she goes..., |
Pataki: What an old demented being. Disgrace looms ahead.as much as you have right to vent your anger you should try as much as possible to avoid insulting elders cuz dat man is someone's grandpa.... I know we are very respective in our place...thanx bro @op, no need to apologize, it's dawning on them they need votes across the country. 2015 is close and we are waiting |
jimcaddy: Is it possible to do a Masters directly with a Third Class degree? Because I keep hearing people talking of Masters after Third Classnope, you have to do postgraduate diploma first (pgd) |
You raised some very good points, he could have been shot impulsively for breaking away from the checkpoint, and the Local Governor then would have no one to blame but himself. The question now is what are the rules of engagement as pertains to civilians? Is "frog jumping" an officially acceptable means of punishment by the armed forces to civilians? After he had been verified to be a civilian, I would think protocol would state that he be detained, even if its just for a day (to send a strong message). I really have never heard of any military protocol that allows for physical punishment of civilians, but I could be wrong if its in their rule book.
very good question, lemme share my personal experience. I've caught most of these politicians like that and it is very wrong to attack anybody physically but you can subject them to mental or psychological treatment.., if I catch u, I either delay you for a couple of hours or I tell you to sit on d floor (to kill of that self-esteem) I know some people will disagree wit sitting on the floor but do you know that if insurgents wanna attack that's how they break away from d queue. the frog jump might be as a result of the man being rude |
Donmams: SMH for you. You are celebrating public assault by ignorant soldiers who do not know their left from right. In civilised countries a soldier dares not speak rudely to a civilian else risk court martial. However i won't be surprised to see more fools celebrating this nonsense.can't believe this.... you say ignorant soldiers, well, lemme educate you law respects no-one. this people you call ignorant are the reason some people are still living in that volatile region, the work like clock...they keep vigil and these politicians that started this problem still want to be treated like they are better than others... the local govt chairman should be thanking his fate if not he would have been gunned down, y would someone reasonable break away from a check point? do u remember of a perm sec in kaduna last year? he was fired at cuz he refused to be checked..he later die last bullet: if you have any reason to break away from queue at checkpoint, go down and approach the officer, officers are human like us and they will surely permit you if you have a convincing reason. |
slap1: Is it really that hard for JTF to shut up, do their job and talk when it's done? Must they notify the media about every step they take?well, you have a good point only because you are not in the system, information like dis is divert attention... the army is intelligent enough to know the kind of info they made available to public. while I commiserate with d family of the fallen heroes, I don't wanna agree wit d family of Maj fambiya about the said suspicion. when I was posted to d operation, it took me 3 weeks to inform my dad while I have a friend that his family never knew he went for d operation until we came back... it's just the ethics of d job.. your location have to be discreet sometimes |
SimonAndal:no fence for your house? if there isn't just get an hammer and make a hole by ur room.... your problem will be solved |
the thread is getting more interesting and educative... as Tony rightly said, those with good grades are likely to be glued to their book but that doesn't mean they r not gonna make it to the top of their chosen careers, one of the people I admire most is Dr Ben Carson, Carson went from being a poor student to receiving honors and he eventually attended medical school. As a doctor, he became the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital at age 33, and became famous for his ground-breaking work separating conjoined twins. he had a poor background and every reason to fail but he refused. that's determination. where are his mates that made mockery of him today? it is good and very necessary to have a good grade to be relevant but that good grade will amount to nothing if you're only reading to pass and not reading to understand. for those not opportune to have a good grade, further your education but most importantly widen you knowledge to make you a better person. our society is certificate freaked but develop yourself will help you and d society @ large... have a good weekend y'all |

c'mon bolt...I need another world record in Moscow |
USAIN BOLT WINS MEN'S 100M Poor start, great middle, unstoppable last 30m. He's still some way off top form, but it's a season-best 9.85secs for Usain Bolt. Mike Rogers takes second in 9.98secs and Kim Collins third in 9.99. Not bad for a 37 year old. Dwain Chambers takes fifth in 10.10. Bolt celebrates as only he can, but the disappointment of James Dasaolu's withdrawal lingers. Hopefully they'll meet in Moscow. |
gbokukueba: This is the worst post ever on Nairaland!was that the reason you quoted him thrice? you need to be wiped |

so impressed with the analysis goin on here, the issue is that it depend on the course, if you're studying management related courses like biz admin, accounting, economics, banking, insurance etc or social science courses like psychology, sociology, political science and so on, you need a good grade @ least 2.2 to be relevant in your field but if you're into practical oriented courses like building tech, architecture, computer science, medical science and so on, all you need is d practical knowledge, most private agency that employ people in this field care less about your grade, all they want is result. I studied building tech and I made lower credit in my hnd, not because I was dull, infact I was above average but I didn't make good grade cuz 1. I was working and schooling at d same time 2. I didn't really take d theoretical aspect serious cuz I know most of the theories are not practicable on site 3. I refused to settle 4. I was always @ logger head with lecturers I know I have no excuse not to make good grade but I'm lucky cuz in my field nobody care about your grade... all they want is result |
Decryptor: Hahahahaha! Which one is presstv again? Some Z-grade television also owned by another yorubaboon? Why didn't channels or AIT air it? Even if the story is true which i doubt i know it isn't, he is far better than the Oba who r@ped an ibo corper some years back in ur dark-ages SW! Go and get a life you pathetic skunk!you should have asked your neighbor who has satellite b4 disgracing yourself in public.... fyi, press tv is d state tv of Iran, located in Tehran.... @topic, crime cut across tribe and race, no need to tribalize this case.... btw, y is everybody assuming the guy is guilty? the prosecutor called 7 witnesses while the defence has only d guy (accused) as witness. so because he's Nigerian or biafran everybody believes he's guilty. those people, Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, and d likes hates blacks with passion, this is definitely a judicial rapee... so dem wan kill d guy cuz of marijuana, weed, cannabis... wtf...this is insane, please let the high commissioner to Malaysia intervene..,, @op, change d topic to marijuana and remove d drug... |
p stacks, r u an atheist? y emphasizing on abolishing religion? if you wanna go your way please do. stop saying we... your opinion did not represent Nigerian's opinion... learn to live with others irrespective of their religion or ethnicity... we are a diversified society |
the only movie wey no go ever tire me na 24 |
Lordave: no mind the yeye guy. I saw his username among those viewing this topic right now.*laffing wickedly* mukeke mukeke.... no mind them, they always want to subject everybody to their opinion... now I have these to say, *in Abuja, you have the city centres like wuse, maitama and co, u have the satellite towns like nyaya, lugbe, kubwa and you have the villages like ushafa, dei-dei, kwali and so on... it is always like this everywhere in the world..the call their villages countryside in developed nations, even though these countryside have all d basic amenities, they are like ghost town cuz there's no business activities nor administrative business goin on there... *when you want to compare, you don't do selective comparison, you take d best of Qatar and the best of Nigeria, I will say this again, gerout of that village of yours and expand ur horizon, Nigeria is very beautiful and conducive.... I've been to 26 states in Nigeria, not transit thru, I mean been to. every countries get ghetto, they used to say Libya is like Europe until d uprising and I saw a place just like the sokoto desert... |
treasureboy09: You talk of ABJ with such dexterity can you say same for your village?even in US there is ghetto.... or u wanna tell me there's no ghetto in Qatar.. compare ghetto with ghetto and city for city |
@op, did u see d pictures of Lagos posted yesterday? come to wuse 2, maitama, asokoro, guzape district here in Abuja and I bet you'll think you're in US.. stop representing Nigeria with that your dirty village |
well I've never watched the interview, that's one tin I like about dis forum, there's objectivity which means we are human cuz it's only 1000 computers will execute ctrl + v as paste.... back to d topic, one of the qualities that makes a leader acceptable is his speech delivery, that's y people love Obama, bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan and so on. you can't deliver what you don't understand unless you wanna disgrace yourself, some people are sayin president goodluck is a scientist but what about Benjamin Carson? he's a neurosurgeon and a best seller, his speeches were smooth and convincing.. I think the president should hire a good speaker to train him, I was actually rooting for the president in d 2011 election but he lost my vote the moment he backed out of NN24 debate, I wanna see my president in charge.. as for 2015, I'm still watching.., for me I will choose my candidate based on his performance on d debate, american presidential aspirants attended more than 50 debates in d run up to election..so u need to be sound intellectually b4 u can win |
icon8: I should use my brainsowi bro, he no get respect for elders |

Look at the T.Vs Look at the fans on the ground. Shrine with old schinapps bottle. His clothes look poor. PLEASE!!!! This raises so many questions.. This nigga is a brokeass. |
Willy4Willy: Samuel Akintola (RIP) was a wise and intelligent more than Awolowo, Awolowo hated him because of that, Awo don't like Ogbomosho people and swore never to see them grow, Children of Akintola said they will never forgive Awolowo and his family , they just waiting for opportunity to give them a bloody nose.what is this one saying wetin concern awolowo and akintola for dis matter? |
And what made you guys think the section was talking about elections and voting? Na wa oh!
no mind them o, they are just looking for anything to cover their shame... section 117 subsection 2 clearly states that you must be 18years b4 u can register to vote... |
jcgodfrey: But if u are literate enough, or rather, sensible enough, you should be able to note the salient point of contention in that clause.reason being that if your father is being hunted and he has renounce his own citizenship, the daughter is not of full age and her life is at risk, she may be given out in marriage to enable her renounce Nigeria citizenship as a pre-requisite to apply for asylum in some countries |
I remember when flying IRS in Feb. the passengers had to come down to push d aircraft b4 the engine can start. ![]() I prefer boarding a comfortable bus wit air conditioning system unless I have something urgent to attend to... plus road traveling is kinda tourist activity for me |
