I live in a very pragmatic world jerome. I have never had any regrets about any man whose romantic advances I rejected because I value compatibility in a relationship/marriage. If I rejected any man it's probably because we were never compatible in any way. Nothing to regret there. I even went ahead to forge wonderful friendships with some of the men whose romantic advances I rejected. They moved on and so did I. No hard feelings. No burnt bridges. One of my closest business associates is a man I rejected. I don't believe that there's got to be bad blood between yourself and your exes, or someone who turned down your romantic advances.

Like I said, people come and go. You seem like the type of person who finds it difficult to deal with rejection.
