Proudly Ekwulobia.

The Headquarters of Aguata local government area and the 4th most developed town in Anambra after Onitsha,Nnewi and Awka. It is also the location of St. John's Anglican cathedral of the diocese of Aguata and also that of St Joseph's cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Ekwulobia. It has two major market known as Eke Ekwulobia and Ekwulobia moto park market. The famous Ekwulobia prison is located in my town as well as Ekwulobia police area command which covers Aguata, Orumba North and South local govts police area command. It has so many primary and secondary school with Aguata High school, Ekwulobia girls secondary school, Monsignor Mmaduka Memorial College and All Saints Seminary. It also houses allot of hospitals like General hospital, Victoria hospital, Chibuzo, Mba Hospital and the most popular pharmacy being Paragon pharmacy shop.

The Traditional Ruler of Ekwulobia is Igwe (Engr) Emma Onyeneke (Ezejiofor II).
The town is made up of 9 (nine) different communities which are Abaogwume, Ezi-Agulu, Okpo, Ihuokpala, Nkono, Ula, Umuchi, Umuchiana.

It it surrounded by Nnanka, Oko, Nkpologwu, Isuofia, Oko, Uga and Ezinifite.
The popular Achugwu Ekwulobia is the most famous masquerade of Ekwulobia people and also attract alot of people from different town and state who always come to watch them display. The Achugwu masquerade mostly comes out during festive period, funeral or any important occasion.

Muslim Women should be the one agitating for hijab wearing if they truly want to wear it not men.

If hijab wearing should be included in our security outfit to accommodate Islamic women then long skirt should also be included in our millitary and paramilitary uniform to accommodate Christian women.

Government should do something about high price of yam cos if it continue like this time will come when parents will start demanding yam as a bride prize to marry their daughters.

Yam is the new oil in Nigeria.
My friend Tolu who works in an company resigned 3days ago to take up yam farming saying it pays more than oil.

Also my friend Emeka has concluded to take 'Oji ji eme-ogo 1' as a title in his community during his title taking in August.
