PoliticsRe: Senate Uncovers N10bn Hidden In Education Budget by Fawklicant: 8:35am On Feb 02, 2016
Aufbauh:
It seems as if PDP bigwigs have nominated their misguided oppressed supporters to wail on their behalf upon the demise of the likes of Metuh, Dokpesi and Co.

Does it occurs to the wailers that the Senate discovery of the said 10b is a product of the CHANGE we've preached?
This kind of willful error happened sporadically unchecked with the connivance of both the MDAs and the Senate during the previous administration without notice.
The senators knows fully well that any attempt to play along with the MDAs will backfire in the long run and Bubu will use them to shine.
Just imagine a half witted defence. Lets assume the pdp has been doing this as you postulated, did tney write the budget this time around? Or must you defend anything because of party affiliation? Grow up!

Budget of ruination. Did the dullard even read the budget at all? To think that it had to be stolen from the NASS and amended, and it still came out with ruinous figures and loopholes.

In this case too, the messenger and the accused (messengee cheesy) are both corrupt. One and the same. But the Dino finished Obj sha. Fatality! Dino watch your back o, that man is a camel, never forgives nor forgets.

I cant wait for the haliburton probe to begin, then I'll start believing the so called anti corruption war. Let it start from 1999. Thats all.

I would refrain from responding to you further. You talk about considering the message and not the mesenger but your posts speak otherwise. One full page of your posts and all you did was attack people who commented and not for once addressing the issues they raised. Hypocrisy is your lot.

If the harlot had a terrible experience with a particular client and she tells a young harlot to keep off that client.

The younger client can listen or tell the other harlot, what moral justification does she have.

At the end the cycle will continue with Younger one learning from experience and advising the next.
At least you agree OBJ is was and is still a harlot in that sense, why not let the younger harlots experience what he has experienced ? He should just sit his attention seeking butt down in his otta farm and behave like an elderly person.

Very eye opening letter and OBJ's message is clear. The problem is, if those he is speaking too live and breathe corruption, they will not heed to his message.

Attack the Message, Not the messenger.
A case of when the messenger and the message are one and the same. What moral justification does a harlot have in advising another girl to refrain from harlotry?

And when tbey find more of his investments, they will keep ammending the charges. It is okay for efcc to arrest on preaumptious suspicioms and investigate later?

And if you're in her shoes and someone brings in an amount he couldn't possibly earn in a lifetime , you wouldn't ask questions ?
May I also remind you that every bank in Nigeria today have an EFCC staff attached to them to ensure that all funds being channeled through that bank is well documented and the source well documented .
Truth be told , everyone of them that came across that money can't deny not being aware that the same fund was illegally gotten and has every right to report to the appropriate authority to do the needful , we really need to stop making excuses for corrupt people by raising some mumbo jumbo jargon based on beauracracy.
In the eyes of the law , even ignorance is not an excuse and if we must fight this fight and win we must bring everyone involved to justice and stop making lame excuses for them while calling for the others to be hanged - That itself , is another corruption and injustice, unless her case was purely that of a plea bargain which is attainable if a deal is being made with the prosecuting body which hasn't been mentioned yet.
How is the money ilegally gotten? Does he not have legitimate businesses? Or because he is a politician, he shouldnt have investments? Before he ventured into politics, what was his occupation? Was he on govt appointment that he should abdicate his businesses?
How much os 2m dollars?

If the efcc arrests you for an alleged crime of say N4 found in your account paid to you by a company you provided a service for at theexact same amount and then goes ahead to insinuate that because they noticed that you built a house of N3, therefore both sums came from the same company even when there is no proof that says so, are you guilty as charged?

Learn to check your emotions and use reason. Giving a dog a bad namein order to hang it is BS.

Govt of propaganda and followers with fish brains.

Olisa is being charged for 400 million naira found in his account which came from the presidency. Now they are bringing up 2 millon dollars invested as crime. Was it linked to Dasuki-gate? Or Olisa as a businessman is not allowed to make money and invest same?
It is a shame. And when I complain of media trial, some bozo will come up and spew trash.

Propaganda. If you like bring up all the girls he slept with and gave money too, of you cannot link its source to stolen funds, then efcc has no case.

Bunch of illiterates on nairaland and bad belle people in this country who are envious of another man's conquests. Blame all Nigerias woes on him afterall your fg govt has blamed GEJ, God, IBB. Obj is next, then when they run short of Nigerian leaders to blame, they will blame Kwame Nkrumah.

1. Except you just want to stay obstinate, you need to assess your values. But pray tell, where were you when Tafa Balogun was in handcuffs? What was the outcome of Tafa's trial? Was he innocent or did the court not find him guilty?
2. You will rather support someone that embezzled under the mirage of democracy? if that's your democracy, then I'm not part of it. Tell me more, how does the judicial system work? Did the judge find anything wrong in the handcuffs on the hands of both? was it in the judge's statements?
3. Undue media influence? grin grin grin grin grin You're one of the most ridiculous people I have ever encountered. What do you call undue media influence? That the media should not report, because it is Metuh or Tafa? or that the media should have swayed it in Metuh's favour? The media to me is not even doing her work to standard. I would have expected a high level media sting investigative exploits to dig out more.........

just to name a few. Were these people too subjected to.......what was it you called that rubbish? Unfair media trial?

I wonder where your moral compass is pointing you to, that is if you have any. Meanwhile, if the government must have opposition, not people that have soiled their hands, not only looting the treasury, but also directly causing the death of citizens and sending what's left to IDP camps.
Typical banter of an uninformed person. Where in my comments did I refer to handcuffs? Tafa's case that I mentioned you still havent answered if the fg was justified in manhdling him the way they did or you are deliberately blind to that while trying to save face by poating pictures of westerners in hdcuffs.

Why is the fg refusing to have an open trial on Dasuki but is quick to run to the media with mischievious allegations aimed at denigrating his image? Why won't they try him openly and let us all know how the yams were shared and consider if punishments meted out to the guilty parties are at variance with the provisions of the law?
Hypocrisy!

Tinubu, Fashola, Amaechi, Aregberascal, Audu Ogbeh, Atiku, Obasanjo, Rochas, just to mention a few were part of the opposition that brought about the change in power. Don't a lot of these men have indictments and civil and criminal cases against them and what was it you said about moral compass again and looting of treasury?

My fri3nd separate sentiments from constitutionality and legality. You personal conviction is just that...personal. It has little bearing on what is the law. Are these men accused regardless of party affiliations being given a fair opportunity at proving their innocence as they claim? No!

I unlike you, will not pronounce them guilty until they have been fairly tried. I do not have any affiliation with any of them, neither do I trust anybody but God. Go back and read my very first comment on this thread and compare with all the balderash you have been spewing here. This will be my last response to you, it is pointless engaging your type as your sense of fair reasoning takes flight in deferrence to emotions. To each his own. Shallom brother!

The so called failed actor is ome of the pioneers of the multibillion Naira Nollywood industry you know today. In fact he is the first face of nollywood, the very first nollywood actor to attain stardom. But you wouldnt know that because you were not yet born then or maybe you hadnt come in contact with the concept of a television then.

1. You are making it sound as if there's no basis for the arrest and prosecution of Metuh and co.
2. Consequent on arrest is prosecution in court. The issue of FG and media sentencing him does not arise at all. Has the treatment meted out to Metuh different from same to Tafa Balogun? Or was that also a case of FG and the media "court" sentencing him?
3. If you truly believe that Metuh should be duly punished if found guilty, then you should be more interested in allowing the case to run it's course than crying wolf where there is non.
4. Yes there must be opposition to this current government, but that opposition should not be afraid to defend allegations leveled against them, rather than shouting witch-hunting. For the sake of our democracy, that opposition must be credible and not-corrupt
And the way tafa balogun was manhadled was justified? And you didnt know that tafa was subjected to an unfair media trial too? What is crying foul about raising objections about the way citizens are treated unfairly? Is the case being allowed to run its course without undue media influence? If obj, yar adua and gej had persecuted any perceived opposition as the new govt. Is doing, would there have been any opposition left? Speaking about corruption, are there no memebers of the new cabinet with pending corruption cases/allegations against them?

Do you even understand the concept of democracy? Or how the judicial system works? Or do you mostly speak based on sentiments? Don't think I'm trying to sway your thoughts as you are fargone down your path, I'm only pointing out issues that need addressing.
