I did something I really regret . Me and my wife have an amazing marriage 2 years of marriage and we are blessed with a 7 months old baby girl. She is 28 and I almost 33. Last saturday I got invited to go out by some of my work friends , I got home late 2am, so madam wasn't happy. She was yelling me ,throwing hands and screaming at me . I ignored her and left the room to the living room but she followed me and I asked her to leave me alone but she kept going which made me angry, I took the back of my hand and gave her a slap on the mouth. She cried out and held her face and started crying and her lips was bleeding. I didnt intentionally hurt her , I just wanted to calm her down since ignoring her was not working. I said sorry , and I was literally on my knees begging her . I tried to hold her but she refused. The rest of the night was me repeating apology or i didnt mean to hurt you. She ignored me . She went into our room and locked the door , she was in there for a long time and the next morning , her mother and older brother was at the house and she came out of the room with her and our baby stuff and she said she was leaving me for good. I told her how sorry I was but her mother told me to get out of their faces and they left the house. I feel so ashamed and I've never done anything like this before and I never thought I would. I dont want to loose my wife and baby. I need both of them back . Should I attempt to contact her? What do I do?

In my short time here as a member ( though been here as a guest since 2015) I observed that the guys here are easily irritated and get provoked at the slightest opportunity. I mean...I feel its uncalled for especially as this is a faceless forum.

I grew up knowing guys to be very discreet but these days especially in this forum, guys talk recklessly and gossip a lot too. They also dont mind their business.
Is it a comradeship thing here or what? An identity? Hmm....

I also observed non of the members live in Ikoyi, VI, and nice places one can easily relate with...guess I joined the wrong forum after all. Reason I feel like a square peg in a round hole like one in an entirely different circle of people. Hmmm...

If you come at me with your usual rantings, I won't be surprised.

That is, is righteousness based on the good act we do or bad act we don't or constant thought and speech on good and bad act.

Two scenarios:

MR X worked in a government establishment where fund was constantly embezzled. He spoke against it constantly and never partook in them. The crooks set him up and almost got sacked in the process. Finally, he was posted to another government organization

In this new organization, he didn't speak up against corruption. he would watch an keep mute. At times,he is giving a part of corrupt proceed. He decided to use the money to feed less privileged, pay stranger school free etc.

IN WHICH OF THE ABOVE CASES CAN WE CALL HIM A RIGHTEOUS MAN.

I have this loving girlfriend, actually I love her so much and she in many occasions proven how much she loves me. I met her in school around 2014, we were good friends though I asked her for a date then and she said we have no future together then later on she told me if I can date her without being affectionate, I thought she will be using me what's love without affection didn't know she was scared of me breaking her heart, I left school and somehow around May this year I kept disturbing her and at last she gave in, she's a Muslim, we don't mind. She is my first real love.

We been really so good that I thought she's the best option for me in marriage, actually I didn't think I wanted kids but she changed my views and now I started thinking about raising a family with her.

When it becomes really so deep I thought I should let my family know, I have known her as a best friend and now as a girlfriend so I already believes we would be good for a couple so to test the dept of the sea with one leg I had to let my mum know, she was fond of her when I spoke with her on phone, she didn't mind that she was a Muslim from another state but on talking about marriage the whole thing took a new turn.

And before hand the talk got to more family members and I'm this kind of guy that people takes so serious in my house becuase before I say things I already done it halve way, now they say marriage is not something one just go into but that they were happy I spoke on that earlier on.

They say they need some spiritual examination I gave them go ahead, I'm 24 years old, planning to marry her in about 2 to three years. Now they came back saying she's an Ogbanje and that anybody who marries her may die Young. Note I don't really believe those but my family does.

My main issue is I had been battling an underlying health condition now and I'm not sure of staying around for so long and if anything happens to me while we are married my family may hold her responsible and I may not be there to stand for her, she will be coming to see me this Xmas and I'm really confused. I don't know what to do She seems to love me so much already.
