This is my second attempt at finding a permanent and stable job. Last year I got a job at a fitness center. oh because of the lockdown I was fired. Now I am looking for a job again.
LOL! How to write a resume?

Good resume is awesome but getting a good job in this part of the world is more than a resume

Although i'm not fond of those this man associates himself with, there's something I like about him.

I think he's genuine by his fruits.

My thoughts though.

Genuine indeed , you better check those fruits

RuddyFusion:
What are you actually saying? Me letting deliverance program takes Glory? did you read my post?

- Who owns the Church?

- Who is the deliverer?

- Who did we pray to during the program?

- Who did I ascribe my job offers to?

- The testimonies I gave in church later who did I give it to?

And everyone on deliverance ground do they come for the same thing?

Somethimes its better not to say something just keep your peace

If you read between lines and have wisdom, you ll understand my post.

God is not in all those activities organized by men

RuddyFusion:
“But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. - Obadiah 1:17 -

Earlier in the week, I created this thread where I talked about my experience working on multiply roles and asked other nairalanders doing same to share their expereince https://www.nairaland.com/6516467/share-experience-working-multiple-jobs

What i did not mention though is how i got those jobs and others i politely turned down.

It happened that just before COVID-19 wahala kicks in here, I had a protracted issue with my former employer, I tried resolving this dispute amicably, but when all failed i resigned. And almost immediately I got two job offers, one in Lagos that matched my last pay ( which was good pay ) and another outside Lagos that didn't.

As expected I accepted the Lagos one, was going to resume in about a week, when the first COVID-19 restrictions kicked in. I was told to hold on by my new employer, but then as the restrictions were further extended, this job was taken away throwing me back into job hunting mood.

I became applying for more jobs, days turn into weeks and weeks into months all I got were interviews, I got interviews sometimes 3 interviews in a day that I have to miss one or so that crashed with each other. The bad part of all these was that most of these interviews, i will go through the whole stage(s) to the point of meeting the CEO / MD of some of those firms and some of these interviews were with Intl businesses.

But I noticed a thread, at the end of each of these, they will be one excuse or one thing, and where I expect to land the job, the job won't just kick in. I reached out to some businesses that I have worked for in the past to follow up on some projects that will fetch money and all I got was excuses also.

Gradually I ran out of cash and frustration kicked in. Then I spoke to a deliverance pastor at Church, because of the COVID issue proper deliverance sessions haven't started, but they started praying with me by the side strictly for JOBS. At this point, I have three more interviews lined up ( Two were remote and the other one was a full-time role )

The deliverance restriction was lifted and I joined my Church deliverance program. Lo and behold few days after my deliverance program, the two remote ones made me an offer almost immediately with the same pay ( Good pay ), and the full-time one also made me an offer a WEEK later. I returned to the deliverance team with my offer letters and gave testimony in church the following Sunday

While at it one of the businesses that I worked for that I was pursuing over some projects, reached out to me themselves and told me that they are ready for business which is also remote making a third.

Two months into my new jobs, The one that took away theirs during COVID reached out to know if I'm still available to come now and start with them among others.

- Yes I have experience in what I do

- I work on my CV / Update it and tailor it to the roles I want to apply for.

- I also write persuasive COVER letters that highlight my key strength and what I will offer the organization I'm applying to.

But this is strictly the work of prayer and deliverance. Obviously, something was blocking me from going beyond my numerous interviews and deliverance cleared that for me.

I know some of us don't believe in God or prayer, and I won't fight those with that belive, but remember. HE IS ALWAYS THERE. and you will find HIM when you do so with all your heart..

"And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart". - Jeremiah 29:13 -

So have you noticed a pattern? are things don't seem to work out? Maybe it's time to try deliverance.

Happy Sunday To Us

How come the deliverance program didn't work for others in the same program with you?

You lack wisdom, instead of letting God take all the glory, you are glorifying a "deliverance program" organized by a man

Please I need a spiritual/Biblical answer to this question, cos in a society like ours, most Christians tends to judge and condemn smokers.
I smoke (only Marijuana) for obvious reason(s) known to me.

It's a sin

Smoke defiles the body

obonujoker:
This question goes to study what happens to the soul after the last breath of life on this physical Earth.

1. The first school of thought tells us that the soul goes to heaven or hell immediately depending on the choices made while on Earth citing Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

2. Another school of thought tells us that the soul doesn't go to heaven or hell immediately, but all soul is resting either in Abraham's bosom or Hades pending the rapture of the saints. It is said that if souls were already in heaven or hell, why would they need to rise up to reign with Jesus, or why will the bad ones rise up to the great white throne Judgement?? This school of thought believes that no one is in the lake of fire or heaven yet.

3. This school of thought believes the dead is dead and gone forever... There's no heaven or lake of fire.

Which do you believe??

Is heaven for humans?? Or a description of what the new Earth will be after the removal of this present Earth?

Give scriptural references too if you have... Thanks

No scriptural reference backing No3

The Rich man and lazarus story supported no2

Scripture backing No1 was quoted out of context. The scripture was misinterpreted

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Here are five ways to have faith in Jesus Christ

1) You need to seek Jesus Christ(hope) Holy Spirit( Righteousness)

2) You need to believe in His words and He as the only begotten Son of the most high God.

3) You need to receive Him into your body, heart and soul .

4) You need to have the love of Christ in you

5) You need to have patience of the Holy Spirit to cast away fear and doubt.

Feel free to drop your views, thoughts and ask questions

6. You need to be obedient to his instructions per time

PlayMaker14:
It's good you have enough time to check my comment for flaws.

I appreciate your time.

Next time, do your research well

This Franco-German fraud should be sacked and chased out of Nigeria...

No doubt Ebere Eze is a talented footballer who I would love to see relegate Samuel Chukwueze to the bench, but Gernot Rohr is not the right man to harness the bundle of raw talent we have presently.

He reminds me of a certain Frank Lampard who's always going to the transfer market with a heavy financial war chest but nothing to show for it after acquiring his desired players.

Apart from the beautiful Nike kits we have, there's no notable achievement Gernot Rohr has recorded since 2016.

I don't wanna compare the Late Stephen Okechukwu Keshi with this Franco-German failure, it's just like comparing an AFCON winning Goodluck Jonathan to a Bandit Loving Buhari.

They don't even play in the same position. Poor analysis

I got to know this young, handsome guy sometime last month. Two visits in the space of 3 weeks and he was all over me.

But I wanted him as a friend and nothing more. The nigga is 5 yrs younger than me

On Monday he came visiting, we talked, laughed and had good time (no sex) then he proffessed his love for me, and I told him same thing: I don't believe in love blah blah blah.

I asked him for money and he gave me 4k. Today I called him and told him that I wanna travel to see my fams that he should give me 5k. But he sent 3k, and I thanked him.

Later, he blocked me on all available network......what went wrong? Why will he do such?

Insults and bashing are expected.

You are tasking him too much so soon. In 3weeks, you ve collected 7k from him

I recently finished my final undergraduate exams and staying idle will not be a good decision for me. Now, I am having this particular person on my social network, who is a school owner. I am thinking of contacting him to consider me for a role.
Please will this be a good decision?

Around 9pm last night, I saw eight scorpions walking on the road.

I was shocked because I've never seen such number of scorpions in my life.

One of them stung me while I tried to take their photograph.

I was able to kill three and the other ran away.

Sincerely speaking, pain from scorpion bite is very terrible.

I wanted to post it last night but I couldn't due to the pain.

I just want to advise and remind everyone out there to be very careful at night. Please use torch when you're going out.
