Well I was taught that you can't generalize or assign casual inference to any event that can't be reproduced to reconfirm the results. I also was taught that for some behavioural analysis we can replicate such mostly for ethical reasons but we should have enough data to confirm our cases with control before making such a sweeping generalisation.
