My main line is an MTN line that I've used for more than a decade. I can't even remember when I started using it, but it's before 2010. I have retrieved It severally due to phone loss. But my experience with wrong number always leaves a bitter taste...

Two weeks ago, a lady told me on facebook that she blocked me on WhatsApp and deleted my contact; I tried to message her but it wasn't going through. When I asked her, she said she called my line and a woman picked it and told her she's married with kids. After calling severally...the woman warned her not to call again.

I do receive calls severally from people who call me different names and with full confidence of the destination they're trying to reach. Some will just call and start talking without verifying who they are speaking to. I have severally been a barrister. Severally a generator technician etc. This is not a case of only those Hausas, I am called by people of different backgrounds.

What prompted me to create this post now is a call I received few minutes ago. The caller is trying to reach Ifeanyi. He doesn't believe that I don't know who Ifeanyi is. He has called three times urging me to give the phone to the owner.

I remember a time a girl called and started to abuse me thinking I'm one uncle of hers.

Does anyone have similar experience? Please share

Pls don't promote this nonsense of social media regulation, in whatever form cos before you know it, such laws will be wrongly and grossly missappropiated and used as a political weapon to clamp on oppositions, then we begin to tilt towards North Korea. See what is happening to media outfits, cos they covered happenings of event, NBC fined them and they working assiduously hard to change the narrative of what happened. Oga most people think social media regulation means total scrapping or limited use of social media , no that is not the idea . But we need stronger cyber laws to punish people that purposely put articles and images with wrong captions knowing it is false information .Most people do not know how far this malicious articles and images they create can lead to a total breakdown of law and order

I am a young married man with 2 kids. The marriage is 6yrs now. Due to the situation of the country, we’ve not been staying together. I hustle in a University environment in one of the states in Southwest while she works as a freelance for some organizations in Lagos.

I normally come home (Lagos) on monthly basis. But during this lockdown, I have been in Lagos with my family.

Prior to our marriage, there is this guy she met when we had some misunderstanding. They started a date but later called it off when we settled. She didn’t give me the details but based on what I read on her phone back then, I knew they made out together. The said guy is now in Port Harcourt but I am aware he normally comes to Lagos.

Just today, I heard my wife giving someone a description of where they will meet somewhere in Agege (where she uses as her office). I was curious to know the person. I didn’t ask her because she would find a story to cover up. I found a way to check her phone and saw that her ex - the said guy was the one who called. May I say that we have fought over this guy several times even before and after our marriage. She won’t let this guy be in her past. She’s either calling the guy or the guy is calling her. This time, I chose not to raise my voice but monitor her closely. She left home for work today. I may not be able to give details but every surrounding clue indicates that my wife has a date today. She returned home and I found a way to check her whatsapp but alas she has deleted her chats with the guy.

Just this night again, she received a call from another man asking her when she would come to his office. She once told me that the man was asking her out. In all these, I want to believe my wife is up to something. Infidelity is the last I would accept in this marriage.

Should I confront her with all these observations? Please, I am confused.

The engine was never with the radiator. The coolant only flows through the radiator to get cooled. The thermostat doesn't allow the coolant to flow through the radiator until it gets to a certain temperature. Just the same way the thermostat in your pressing iron keeps the iron at a certain temperature allowing it to keep going on and off.
I was referring to your stuff about reversing the polarity of the fan in cold region. Thats absolute balderdash and that should have been enough reason not to reply you. A working engine achieves same temperature wether in cold or hot region.....the time to achieve that temperature is probably what will vary. Maybe you should read more about all this.
And yes ....removing your thermostat makes the engine run at a much lower temperature than it should normally run making the engine oil to lubricate it less cos its not at its optimal lubricating temperature making for more engine wear. It eventually tells on the engine ....

I am talking from my own personal experience and the solution that was applied and to be honest I drove that car for 4 years before selling it off . Now I have a question does this thermostat also work when the car is off and parked ? Cause I noticed something in my present car the fan suddenly comes on by itself when the car is off

I, read a couple of you posts and I am amazed at your beliefs, but if you look at the facts you might see the holes in your beliefs.
Please Google the terms open loop and closed loop in car engines and you might understand the job of the thermostat. The engine ECU is looking for certain data/ condition and thermostat enables the condition.
If I have my cooling fan blowing outwards, how well do you think the fan will work when my car is found 120kmph and blowing against the wind.Try holding a fan out of the window driving on the highway and see who wins.

Because our people tend to drive through Muddy water, the radiator and condenser act like a sieve and filter out the water holding the mud in the cooling fins this reduces the amount of air flowing through the radiator no matter how long the fan runs. If your radiator fins is clean, the amount of air flowing through it is enough to cool the engine, that it why your fan comes on mostly in hot slow traffic, and the newer cars have shutters in the grill for aerodynamics without engine overheating

now someone is talking i think the correct way a fan should be blowing is inwards I confirmed that this evening

you said earlier you know little about cars , I believe in practicals . A car was delivered to me at Ondo state and this car was purchased at Cotonou the driver brought the car and gave to me at Akure . When I started driving the car and switched on the ac it was overheating until I took to my Kazeem , the thermostat was removed the fan was put on permanent and they checked whether the fan was blowing outward by putting a nylon on the condenser it was actually sucking it instead of blowing it away . After the fan was made to blow in the right direction my car temperature became normal I used that particular car for 4 years before selling it off ,from my earlier post I was referring to radiator as condenser my mistake though ,most of all this guys on nairaland forming car gurus know nothing I have actually met some in person and I was disappointed with their misleading post and ads they put up here , you think they know it all but they know nothing I won't mention names but please be guided

If you actually understand the cooling system of a car.....you'd not say this. The engine is meant to operate at a constant temperature irrespective of honor cold region....that's why you have a thermostat....and that's why the coolant doesn't get cooled until a certain temperature and the fan doesn't come on until and certain temperature. And that fan keeps going on and off.
Half the cars with overheating have damaged thermostat that should be replaced but gets yanked out.
And yes...removing the thermostat does damage the engine.....not immediately but overtime. The reason for the range of temperature being maintained at a certain temperature is not just for the engine alone but because the engine oil lubricates best at a certain temperature ...removing your thermostat makes the engine super cool which means less than sterling lubrication which damages the engine. You might not feel the effect that month or year but it surely tells. These stuff are online if you actually want to read them. Yoy should know better than your Kazeem all the time

oga get your facts right . thermostat disconnects the engine from the radiator until it reaches to the sufficient operating temperature. Then afterwards the thermostat adjusts flow of coolant to the radiator.

If to the front.... is the fan between the radiator and the grille or between the radiator and the engine?... that is.. if the car has radiator sef. If the grille.... then the fan has to blow through the radiator to keep the air trapped. Fine... strong fan. Now the fan is not an a/c.... so it is drawing in ice cold air to blow into the engine compartment to maintain the heat in the engine compartment. Isn't this what you're saying? .... and it makes perfect sense to you. Let's not even discuss what happens when it is hot. Bro.... stop assaulting us with your ignorance and lack of reasoning.
