Railway from Lagos to Ibadan is done by Buhari. Reconstruction of Lagos to Ibadan expressway done by Buhari. The importance of the railway line is just 3%. The road is 97%. The railway is almost non existence to most people in South West.

The same would be applicable to Lagos Calabar Railway project. The cost reviewed by Jonathan and later Buhari is still high. The Rate of Return on investment is very low on such railway line and payback period almost very long or non existence.

One important point the IBOS intentionally covered up on the Lagos Calabar Coastal Highway Project is the fact that FG's commitment is only 15% of the total cost. The remaining 85% would be sourced by the investor. If CHINA gives you 50% grant on railway project, just know that the cost is already inflated by 100%.

Propaganda cannot stop this project because of the huge economic potential it holds. The Coastal areas need to be linked together for explosion of economic potentials. For Jonathan to have considered the railway project and Buhari also reviewed it shows the potentials inherent in it. Road Projects open up access to limitless possibilities. That is why they are crying and wailing. The project is moving ahead. Propaganda on Nairaland cannot stop it.

And 1 very important point you didn't include.....
Lagos -calabar Coast road would be done by a Nigeria's company, while railway lines are done by Chinese.

They borrowed us money,that we will be paying with huge interest, meanwhile, it's their companies that would executive the projects, .....hence taking away the money they lent, away from our economy almost immediately, why we would be paying the principal with interest for several years to come.

Yet some idiots are still blaming transport minister, blaming him, when govt of the day not really gives him job to do.


Not until you know that several cabinet ministers are just thr to fulfill constitution fulfilment and to reward political jobbers, people won't stop blaming ministers wrongly, for non performance.

As he took chattered jet , heaven did not fall.


Does he even suppose to be flying around with govt own jet? It's only in Nigeria that govt would say, it's broke and still, no 1 to no 4th citizens would flying around with official jet.

Tunji Ojo, forced immigration to issue passport within 2 weeks, something that can be achieved within a month, because the technology to put it in place is available at that time. He bought fire fighters, that is what you can get also do within 1 months, also, the amount to expended on it are not huge unlike some ministries.



Can you design a road and construct it within a month?

Can you design power project within a month?

Can u mak 1 dollar equivalent to ₦1 a month?

Selecting ministers across the 36 states of the country is Herculean task, but that's not to say Tinubu has no fault - his ministers' mess are his too. Ruling your own state is very different from ruling the entire nation. I just hope great thought, research, and energy is invested into the next selection process. He might have give the middle finger to political vultures from the various regions to get competent hands.

What criteria you used ,for you to say...... foreign affairs, police affairs, communication,sport, labour, information, ministers etc are not performing? Is it because they are not comming to media to shout and play to the gallery?

For you to say a minister is not performing, you have to look at his/her ministry, the political will of president towards that ministry, the financial backing the president give to that ministry.


You cannot give me ₦10 and expected me to buy the same food as the person you give ₦1000.

Almost all the existing roads are in a state of ruin and unmotorable, yet, the design and construction of new coastal highways leading to nowhere is obviously more profitable.

Channel this fight to current and former governors, including Obi that u heard it from him.

For existing roads not to be in ruins, it takes both president and governors to repair them.

That's EFCC's usual style. They engaged in media trial because that is the only thing they appear to have. A camel will pass through the eye of a needle before EFCC can secure conviction of politicians in Nigeria. Akpabio, Uzor Kalu etc are all working as freely and "making laws". They are unable to secure the conviction of people you mentioned, largely because of corruption among the judges and also, the connections the person has in the corridor of power.


Ekeremadu case, if it's EFCC that tendered the same exhibits that UK lawyers presented, our judges would still blame EFCC and released ekeremadu.
