Politics › Re: Unlawful Detention: Court Orders SSS To Apologise To El-rufai, Pay Him N2m For.. by FlyboyZee: 6:24pm On Sep 29, 2014 |
donphilopus: I expect those guys who were celebrating his arrest the other day to start babbling on this thread, that's if they've not died of heart attack merely viewing the headline. Most of them would soon invade this thread telling us how they saw El-rufai giving a bribe to the judge to rule in favour of him.
People who attend Jonathanian school of thought are very daft, clueless, useless and foolish, to say the least. Pathetic souls.
Meanwhile, those people who celebrated/justified El-rufai's arrest in Anambra were also the same people who said there was nothing wrong in Sen. Andy Uba's younger brother travelling to Ekiti for the Governorship Election. Hypocrites! The SSS would not pay El Rufai a dime. I repeat the SSS would not pay El Rufai a Kobo. Its an issue of national security, for which El Rufai's fundamental right don't apply. Mr El Rufai/APC advocate & defender. This is a lop sided judgement, No be who first report matter dey always win case o! How far with the SLS judgements? The SSS would appeal the ruling and then put up a defence that would shut that smelly midget up, once and forever. How I hate his dwarfish assssss!!!! |

Politics › Re: Cameroonians Declares ''the Best Nigerian Is A Dead Nigerian'' by FlyboyZee: 11:47am On Sep 25, 2014 |
9jalawa: Serious comments made on a Cameroonian Blog
”Jealousy dude, jealousy like seriously? The best Nigerian is a dead one. Not in this life or life after next will i ever wish to come back as a Nigerian. Yeah yeah bla bla African giants when majority of Nigerians live in abject poverty and live in slums? People can hardly feed themselves all because of corruption. Nigeria is the 6th oil producing nation on earth but yet majority of Nigerians don’t know where 1/100 of that money goes to. Oh come on dude, there are better things to do than rush here to express stupidity and ignorance. What has nigeria that will make me want to become one? Hahaha interesting. You guys are known for 419, drug dealings and all the bad things that I can imagine, why on earth will i want to associate myself with that? No one compared the size of Cameroons military, wealth, population with that of Nigeria. Let me help make my point better, if your military was any better then how come boko haram has been taking localities day in day out and even have time to video tape Nigerian soldiers running away from them? Why all the noise and propaganda when you all are noise makers and loud mouth tots. Please bring back the missing girls and finish boko haram for good then we shall discuss. Tiny Cameroon has come to your rescue once again but little appreciation cannot come from loud mouth crooks like you guys. My wish is that boko is dealt with, irrespective of who finishes them. Fyi, our president being there for life or whatever you put it is not any different from the numerous presidents that nigeria has gotten but still standing In the same spot and not progressing.”
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
”Hello guys,am neither a Nigerian nor Cameroonian, but basing on facts Cameroon has a better trained and organised army than Nigeria, even Chadian army are better trained than Nigerians, Nigerian soldiers physically look very frustrated main while Cameroonian soldiers are clean and well taken care of, Curruption has eaten Nigeria right to the bones, what a shame, first in history to hear that a whole school has been kidnapped. Nigeria is a big disgrace to Africa,Nigerian army is over 85000 foot soldiers but still yet unable to fight Boko Haram which is about 800 untrained fighters, shame and shame again, Africa is proud of what Cameroon is doing. I even heard that over 700 Nigerian soldiers escape to Cameroon and the Cameroon government protected them, feeding with garry and giving medical support. Nigeria is spending 4.5 billion dollars every year as militry budget but still yet their soldiers complain of lack of equipments and poorly paid. Nigerians are treated as outcasts in South Africa due to their behaviour, you can check all this infos on internet. The highest number of African prostitutes in milan Italy are Nigerians,in short every where in Europe Africa has a bad name because of Nigerians. I prefare cameroon than Nigeria, cameroon is stable and police working hard to protect its citezens whereas Nigeria is a real jungle. The first day i visited Nigeria i feld very sorry for the citizens on this country where common electricity is a luxury for those who can affort a small yamaha generator porpularly know as “i pass my neighbour” Nigeria is also one of the countries in the world with a record of zero tourists every year. Cameroon is today doing its all to fight a battle that is not his, instead of being grateful this Okrika people still have the ordasity to mock at them. Even the US intelligents that were sent to help Nigeria fight Boko Haram are so dissapointed at the level of un professionalism displayed by the Nigerian soldiers. Am calling on all Africans to pray for Nigeria.” ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
” Please tell these ungrateful Nigerians who think they know more than everyone. Loud mouth individuals who have nothing to show for but won’t hesitate to talk trash and boost with nothing to show for. Many of them are requesting Cameroon nationality and don’t want to return home to Nigeria. I know many in Cameroon who don’t want to be associated or called Nigerians. Shameless in grates coming here to run their mouths. African giants indeed.” ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
”Nigerians never cease to amaze me, they have nothing but yet will run their 419 mouths like a market dog searching for food. You all should advice your government to retake land ceased by boko haram and help rescue the girls who have been gone for over 5 months now. Egg headed fellows called Nigerians. The best Nigerian is a dead one.” ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

motherlode: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, shunned last Thursday’s National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party to evade the decision of the party to endorse President Goodluck Jonathan as its sole 2015 presidential candidate,The PUNCHhas learnt. If PDP expels him na, una go dey shout no internal democracy. He's feeling proud and pompous now and nobody would call him to order. If he's done with the Party let him get out than carrying on like a chameleon. Is that the kind of leaders we want? Chameleons and Snitches. Findings showed that Tambuwal was in Abuja throughout Thursday and was even meeting with the national leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association at the National Assembly while the NEC meeting was going on in the city. In the past, whenever he avoided major PDP meetings, excuses such as being out of the country or attending an important event elsewhere were givený by his office to explain his absence. He's playing truancy already. Someone who plays truancy with his own family is not worthy of trust. National Assembly sources confided inThe PUNCHon Sunday that Tambuwal did not attend the meeting because he already reportedly knew that the agenda was about 2015 politics and the endorsement of Jonathan. He was said to have claimed that the country was facing serious security challenges, particularly the threat by Boko Haram insurgents and the abduction of the 200 Chibok schoolgirls, which should be the main concerns of government for now and not politics. “The Speaker is arguing that this is not the time to abandon governance for politics.” He is speaking as if his meeting with the NBA Exec would solve the security issues he is politicking with. He is trying to create unneccessary distractions that he won't even benefit from. He is a pathetic loser already. Tambuwal had urged the NBA to blow the whistle on corruption and to prevail on politicians to stop flouting the electoral laws. Those who live in glass houses have no business throwing stones ooo!!! I think he has a very good reason to dump that meeting. #takebackjonathan2015 . No. I don't think so. He is just being stoopid and fooolish, because he ought to have left the PDP long ago and reliquinsh the priveledge of enjoying the position and paraphernalia of office.he enjoys as speaker. He should go and ask Alhaji Ghali Na'Aba, what it means to no longer be a speaker. I tell you, Tambuwal would become irrelevant and very insignificant as soon as he stops being the Speaker of the House and I think he knows that very well thats why he is still staying put in the PDP. What a morafocking snitchy chameleon. |
Family › Which Way Nigeria? - A Must-read. by FlyboyZee(op): 8:21am On Sep 21, 2014 |
I saw this write up on my Facebook Timeline posted by one Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, although the real author is unknown and I got so thrilled and brought it here for discerning minds on Nairaland to dissect. For those who have MB issues and are wary in reading long write-ups, please click the next topic, for this is a topic for serious minded Nigerians as it affects our future and where or what we want our country to become, you have been warned. Friends, Let me add the benefit of my time as a student and then resident in the UK - and I live in Lagos now. The first thing that I discovered about UK-born, white, English undergraduates was that all of them did holiday or weekend job to support themselves - including the children of millionaires amongst them. It is the norm over there - regardless how wealthy their parents are. And I soon discovered that virtually all other foreign students did the same - the exception being those of us status-conscious Nigerians.
I also watched Richard Branson (owner of Virgin Airline) speaking on the Biography Channel and, to my amazement, he said that his young children travel in the economy class -even when the parents (he and his wife) are in upper class. Richard Branson is a billionaire in Pound Sterling. A quick survey would show you that only children from Nigeria fly business or upper class to commence their studies in the UK. No other foreign students do this.
There is no aircraft attached to the office of the prime minister in the UK - he travels on BA. And the same goes for the Royals. The Queen does not have an aircraft for her exclusive use. These practices simply become the culture which the next generation carries forward. Have you seen the car that Kate Middleton(Prince William's wife) drives? VW Golf or something close to it. But there's one core difference them and us (generally speaking). They (even the billionaires among them) work for their money, we steal ours!
If we want our children to bring about the desired change we have been praying for on behalf of our dear country, then please, please let’s begin now and teach them to work hard so they can stand alone and most importantly be content, and not having to "steal", which seem to be the norm these days.
“30 is the new 18”, which seem to be the new age for testing out the world in Nigeria now. That seems to be an unspoken but widely accepted mindset among the last 2 generations of parents in Nigeria. At age 18 years, a typical young adult in the UK leaves the clutches of his/her parents for the University, chances are, that’s the last time those parents will ever play “landlord” to their son or daughter except of course the occasional home visits during the academic year. At 21 years and above or below, the now fully grown and independent minded adult graduates from University, searches for employment, gets a job and shares a flat with other young people on a journey into becoming fully fledged adults.
I can hear the echo of parents saying, well, that is because the UK economy is thriving, safe, well structured and jobs are everywhere? I beg to differ and I ask that you kindly hear me out. I am UK trained Recruitment Consultant and I have been practicing for the past 10 years in Nigeria. I have a broad range of experience from recruiting graduates to executive director level of large corporations. In addition, I talk from the point of view of someone with relatively privileged upbringing. Driven to school every day, had my clothes washed for me, was barred from taking any part-time job during my A-levels so that I could concentrate on studying for my exams?! BUT, I got the opportunity to live apart from my parents from age 18 and the only time I came back home to stay was for 3 months before I got married!
Am I saying that every parent should wash their hands off their children at age 18? No, not at all, of course, I enjoyed the savings that I made from living on and off at my parent’s house in London – indeed that is the primary reason for my being able to buy myself a 3 bedroom flat in London at age 25 with absolutely no direct financial help from my parents! For me, pocket money stopped at age 22, not that it was ever enough for my lifestyle to compete with Paris Hilton’s or Victoria Beckham’s. Meanwhile today, we have Nigerian children who have never worked for 5 minutes in their lives insisting on flying “only” first or business class, carrying the latest Louis Vuitton ensemble, Victoria ’s Secret underwear and wearing Jimmy Choo’s, fully paid for by their “loving” parents.
I often get calls from anxious parents, my son graduated 2 years ago and is still looking for a job, can you please assist! Oh really! So where exactly is this “child” is my usual question. Why are you the one making this call dad/mum? I am yet to get a satisfactory answer, but between you and me, chances are that big boy is cruising around Lagos with a babe dressed to the nines, in his dad’s spanking new SUV with enough “pocket money” to put your salary to shame. It is not at all strange to have a 28 year old who has NEVER worked for a day in his or her life in Nigeria but “earns” a six figure “salary” from rich parents for doing absolutely nothing.
I see them in my office once in a while, 26 years old with absolutely no skills to sell, apart from a shiny CV, written by his dad’s secretary in the office. Of course, he has a driver at his beck and call and he is driven to the job interview. We have a fairly decent conversation and we get to the inevitable question - so, what salary are you looking to earn? Answer comes straight out - N250,000.00. I ask if that is per month or per annum. Of course it is per month. Oh, why do you think you should be earning that much on your first job? Well, because my current pocket money is N200,000.00 and I feel that an employer should be able to pay me more than my parents. I try very hard to compose myself, over parenting is in my opinion the greatest evil handicapping the Nigerian youth.
It is at the root of our national malaise. We have a youth population of tens of millions of who are being “breastfed and diapered” well into their 30s. Even though the examples I have given above are from parents of considerable affluence, similar patterns can be observed from Abeokuta to Adamawa! Wake up mum! Wake up dad! You are practically loving your children to death! No wonder corruption continues to thrive. We have a society of young people who have been brought up to expect something for nothing, as if it were a birth right.
I want to encourage you to send your young men and women (anyone over 20 can hardly be called a child!) out into the world, maybe even consider reducing or stopping the pocket money to encourage them to think, explore and strive. Let them know that it is possible for them to succeed without your “help”.
Take a moment to think back to your own time as a young man/woman, what if someone had kept spoon feeding you, would you be where you are today? “No tree grows well under another tree”, children that are not exposed to challenges, don't cook well. That is why you see adults complaining, "my parents didn't buy clothes for me this christmas", ask him/her how old-30+. Because of the challenges we faced in our youth, we are where and what we are today. This syndrome- “my children will not suffer what I suffered” is destroying our tomorrow. Deliberately reduce their allowance or mum-don't cook on Saturday till late afternoon or evening-do as occasion deserve.
I learnt the children of a former Nigerian Head of State with all the stolen (billions) monies in their custody, still go about with security escort as wrecks. They are on drugs, several times because of the drug, they collapse in public places. The escort will quickly pack them and off they go, what a life. No one wants to marry them. Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. “The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young”- Henry Ford. Hard work does not kill, everything in Nigeria is going down, including family settings. It is time to cook our children, preparing them for tomorrow. We are approaching the season in Nigeria where only the RUGGED, will survive. How will your ward fare?
If the present generation of Nigerian pilots retire, will you fly a plane flown by a young Nigerian pilot, If trained in Nigeria? People now have first class, who cannot spell the word GRADUATE or read an article without grammatical bomb blast! Which Way Nigeria!, Which Way Nigerians!! Is this how we will ALL sit and watch this country SINK? What do you guys think? Let the discussions begin! |

Politics › If Not For My Age, I Would Have Gone To Fight Boko Haram – Atiku by FlyboyZee(op): 7:45am On Sep 18, 2014 |
A former Vice President and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has blamed the current government under the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan over his failure to solve the problem of insecurity in Nigeria since he assumed office few years back.
Atiku lamented that if not for his old age, he would have gone to the war-front to battle the outlawed sect, Boko Haram that has been terrorizing the country for years. He recalled how the Obasanjo administration (where he served as the Vice President) crushed such a terror group within six weeks and wondered why the menace remains unresolved after four or five years.
Atiku made this disclosure while addressing newsmen in his Abuja residence on the State of the Nation and his plans to formally declare for presidential race. Accordng to him, “I am absolutely upset and angry with this insecurity situation. I don’t believe that as a country, we have done enough to secure this country. This bunch of insurgence has been operating for nearly four or five years now. Knowing Nigeria, we pride ourselves as having the best armed forces in this continent. I really don’t know where thing went wrong. Is it the armed forces or the political leaders? I just can’t believe what is happening. I am not in a position to explain it because I am not in government. But I don’t believe that this is a situation that Nigeria would not have dealt a very fatal blow within three to six months. “I remember that when we were in office, such a group wanted to emerge in Yobe state and we smashed that group completely within a couple of weeks.
That such a group should be allowed to operate for four or five years in this country and even saying they have occupied part of the country, hoisting flag and nobody is doing anything is unbelievable. Please help me ask them what is wrong because I am very upset and angry about this development. When I went to visit the son of Former President, Obasanjo, I said I wish I were a young man, I would have gone to the war front to fight. It is unbelievable what is happening,” he lamented. dailypost.ng/2014/09/17/age-gone-war-front-fight-boko-haram-atiku/ My people na how una see am? |

Politics › APC Denies Buhari, Others Automatic Ticket by FlyboyZee(op): 6:34am On Sep 17, 2014 |
The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the weekend revealed that it would not grant any of its leading presidential aspirants automatic ticket.
ThisDay reports that the disclosure was made on phone by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, who explained that the decision was in reaction to the mounting pressure from certain group within the party.
Muhammed was said to have further revealed that some elements within the party were agitating for concessions that would favour former military Head of State, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) as the party’s flag bearer for the 2015 presidential election.
The national publicity secretary, went ahead to categorically state that granting an automatic ticket would never be possible in APC, assuring that there is nothing like automatic ticket for anyone, and insisted that party will do no such thing. “Most of these people who habour such thoughts do not have access to the party leaders, including Tinubu and Buhari. We intend to showcase our internal democracy. As a matter of fact, we intend to showcase a model of internal democracy for other parties to emulate, “he said.
Muhammed hinted that APC National Working Committee (NWC) meeting is slated for Wednesday, where the leadership is expected to work out the modalities for the party’s primaries ahead the presidential elections. It was further gathered that although the party has rejected the idea of automatic ticket for any of its candidate, there were speculations that some interest groups in the opposition party are taking advantage of the occurrence to cause controversy since the party is yet to completely overcome the plot to settle for a Muslim-Muslim ticket as its presidential candidate and running mate.
It was also gathered the decision against the idea of automatic ticket did not go down well with the supporters of leading presidential contenders like former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Kano State Governor Ibrahim Kwankwaso, and Senator Bukola Saraki. However, a group of loyalists to the former military head of state have reportedly continued mounting pressure on the party leaders to consider granting Buhari concessions and urge others contenders to back down and support him.
Meanwhile, a party chieftain who spoke on condition of anonymity disclosed that the solicitation for automatic for Buhari was in line with the merger agreement allegedly reached between Bola Tinubu’s Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and Buhari’s Congress for Progressive Change (CPC). The source said the agreement was to anoint the party’s standard-bearer without going through an election, which is obviously not going well with Kwankwaso, Saraki and Atiku supporters.
It would be recalled that the All Progressive Congress (APC) was formed in February 2013, through the merger of four Nigeria’s biggest opposition parties comprising the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) with the aiming of ousting the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) out of power.
The party which is already having internal issues in Lagos, on September 3, 2014 experienced the pulling out of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, as announced by Prince Adesina Olayokun, the state’s APGA chairman.
However, the party had earlier announced that it would start its primary elections in October 2014, to enable them nominate a presidential candidate for the 2015 general election. www.naij.com/290333-apc-dissappoints-aspirants.html?new_letter |
Car Talk › Re: About Paying For This Car Kindly Advice by FlyboyZee: 10:37pm On Sep 13, 2014 |
bravolad: Seeking opinions from a car forum isn't a bad thing to do. It's done all over the world. Sometimes, other opinions help to hone an individual's taste(s)and choice(s).
When making a comparison, you compare an apple to an apple. If you read my comment well, I did not compare the v6 models of both cars. Both cars may not necessarily be compared but on the premise of the poster's need, the Camry is a lot more economical both in terms of fueling and over all maintenance cost.
Yes, no two cars attract the same cost of maintenance. But for a daily driver, commuting between his/her office and home, running errands, visiting friends and traveling occasionally, it makes economic sense to go with the Camry. I speak from experience as well. I have used the 2001 model of the Camry and can discuss it extensively. I also have a lawyer friend who uses the 1999 C class Benz. Over the past six (6) months, he's put up the Benz for sale because of associated cost of maintenance. He's not been able to get a buyer for the value of the car.
In as much as some people don't buy cars with the intention to resale in the future, I dare say that majority of car owners in Nigeria have resale value in mind when buying a particular car. OP is a salary earner and surely would love to recoup some of the money he/she invested in buying the car. You sound one of those Joes on the street who feels a Toyota is everything. Never ever ever compare a Toyota Camry to a Mercedes Benz C-class. The C-class is in the same category as the Toyota Corolla and not the Camry. The C Class regularly comes with a 1.8l engine except for tushed up models. It is a continuation of the Benz E190, as in another name for the 190. Your arguments would have been valid, but they made no sense as soon as you started comparing the Camry to the C class. It seems like comparing a goat to a cow or an 18 year old boy to a 35 year old man. |

greatestman: Are the first class from private universities responsible for our unfavourable conditions? Why the hatred for first class graduates in private Universities? They are as good as their public universities counterpart if not more than them. You still dey talk? Na people wey no meet requirements for admission into public universities dey end up for private universities and universities for Ghana and Benin Republic. Shebi you wan form like say you no know, abi? |

mikaj: Trust me ma peepz, someone with a 2.1 in futo is way better than a 1st class from either a private uni or public uni. FUTO no be beans. You see your life? For your mind FUTO na personal university as e no be either private or public university. Dundee United. |

princefunmi: How reta.rded can you be.
You say a Public University wants you to fail and come back again, yet you still say a first class from a private university is not it. What exactly is your point. His point is that you have to work hard and be really good in order to make a 1st Class in a public university because of the frustrating environment. While in a private university, they want to produce as much 1st Class as possible in order to lure more intending students and as such they assist the students in anyway they can and also make it far much more easier for their students to get good grades and not neccessarily learn much than is obtainable in the public university. FrancisTony: Why should they be respected when what most of them do is "la cram, la pour. I hope you know that no one stopped you from practicing "la cram, la pour" when others were doing it and making 1st Class? FrancisTony: What should be respected is what they achieves (sic) in life not ordinary paper award.
You don't expect me to be respecting someone with 1st class in EEE when he haven't achieved anything meaningful to the society. Its obvious you belong to the Alaba International or Oshodi Oke crew. FrancisTony: Wole Soyinka made 2.1 in University and he is being respected today for what he has achieved in life not paper certificate. You dig? He never made a 2.1; he was a 3rd Class graduate. FrancisTony: Nigerian education is solely based on theory and little or no practical. So, First class should be disregarded except what you are able to reproduce in labour market. Kapish? I can feel someone with a "Certificate of Attendance" rumbling. |

greatestman: That is were you got it wrong, we over hype first class graduates in public universities (Mind you i am student from public university with CGPA of 4.47 on the scale of 5.0 point in my final year). In public universities we have frustrated Lecturers that are not satisfied with their monthly pay, and secondly the employment selection is base on WHO YOU KNOW factor. But lecturers in private universities are selected base on merit. People with passion for teaching, people that have teaching ethics, people that are delighted to see their students passing, people that are ready to help their students. Why won't the students have good grades? unlike our lecturers in public universities that are forming local champion without any teaching ethics, been harsh to their students, nobody is ready to attend to your personal problem. Why won't you graduate with 4.2 in place of 4.6? please carry your frustration to somewhere else, Not private universities first class graduates they are good they have conducive environment for learning, they have good lecturers etc. Any first class product being it from private, state or Federal universities are good in their on way. (Being it sorting, being it malpractice, being it cramming, being it natural intelligence etc) You are dead wrong or is it wrong on point they say these days? The best Teachers are always in th public schools. Moreover, public universities pay the highest wages in Nigeria. Almost, I repeat again, almost all the Lecturers in private universities in Nigeria earn their main wages in the public universities where they work full time and then freelance or carry out adjunct or part time lecturing jobs in the private universities. Ask any full time private university Lecturer you meet and he would not exhitate to let you know that his desire is to be employed in a public university. I'm in the field and I know what I am talking about. One other thing you have to bear in mind is that private universities in Nigeria are not far from glorified secomdary schools. What the OP is saying is that it is much more difficult for you to pass and especially pass well, when all the forces that be are working against you than when the forces that be are working for you. The op is also illustrative of the fact that Nigerain public University graduates also excel outstandingly in foriegn universities not minding the conditions of learning they had been subjected to in Nigeria. |

lastmessenger: First time to hear profession reffered to as wordsmith Yes, that is a word I coined to refer to sweet talking operators who put words together for the purpose of bamboozling their listeners and holding them in awe as they listen to the ramblings. And almost all Nigerian Pastors are Wordsmiths except for a few who use miracles to hoodwink their audiences (sheeples). |

marah1: Nobody is above mistakes hence you should have made ur corrections without strong words...or maybe you are just jealous cause he is so young and he's impacting lives while you are getting old and have not been of relevance to anyone. Well if that is the case I advice you find ur pathway in life instead of these unnecessary sentimential judgements becaus at the end of the day critics don't count but campions irrespective of the errors and blame you pin on them count. I am also young and living a fulfilled life as it stands. I am a Champion in my own rights and neighbourhood, ever heard of the phrase 'Local Champion' before? I have also impacted on lives who are grateful to God for creating a mortal like me. So, please, don't come online and tell me ish like you know jack. I am not an Aasslicker and because I am made after the Image and likeness of God, I am also a god in my own rights, but if you are not, well thats your own kettle of fish. ... And now, back to the topic... I already stated my griviences subtly. I listen to his programme out of my own volition without coercion. My take is that, if he had done that is sermon using the Igbos for an example in like manner, you won't be here sounding off like hell. All I am saying is that ETHNOCENTRICISM IS RIFE IN NIGERIA and Wordsmiths should be wary of what they say and how they say it, especially if they are reffering to tribes other than theirs. I hope you understand that this preacher has never said and won't say anything about the Yoruba tribe he hails from, even when we know otherwise. |
