actually, same thing has happened to me before, but I ended it in less than 2 weeks or so. I suggest u tell him, remember d matter is getting more complicated every single day, twas one month, den to 2months, d more it increase, d more complicated and d more guilty u will b. so let him no. if u can't find a common ground since last year. Imagine, they could not make a 1.5 CGPA ?? this is what happens when dullards get into school through backdoors/runs or whatever and those that merit the admission are not given the admission because they don't have money to bribe, they don't know either the registrar or DVC, Very shameful. The brilliant ones are there languishing at home, writing jamb, post-ume every year. I think NUC should investigate how these students got admission in the first place. If the school has erred in the admission policy, they should be sanctioned.

And again the issue of Jamb exam result expiring after one year or academic section should also be visited, at least the result should last for 3years.

You know, about 1.6million or more students keep writing Jamb every year and the bitter truth is tertiary institutions in Nigeria cannot even accommodate half the number of those that sit for Jamb every year.

When Jamb brought out their last admission policy, it was indeed a welcome development but tutorial centers across Nigeria kicked against it because if it stands, the amount of student that comes for tutorials will drop and that would result to a drastic fall in their income. I think the new minister of education needs to revisit/revise that policy. Whereby candidate with high scores if not taken by their university of choice, Jamb as the authority to send/post them to another school. The addition to the policy should state "Posting them to another school should be made optional when filling Jamb form online"

I so agree with u there, when I was in school, I often wondered how some people passed jamb and post jamb. guess that's life anyway.

Yes u can, I use a tecno H5 to blog, not easy, but i still do it anyway. U just need a good browser. Uc browser, fire fox, chrome etc r good. U can also download d blogger app too, though d app is a lil dry to me

@Op. First define what it means to judge, den define what it means to rebuke or criticize then u will see that when Christ said judge not, he meant judge not. Judges at the law courts have measurements, they judge you by it, ever seen a law court rebuking a criminal? They judge.
Christians need to no d difference between dealing with issues and dealing with people. Judgement have to do with condemnation, but rebuke is not focused on the person but on what a person has done.

The doctor and nurse can plan to have their own hospitals, the lawyer can establish a law firm after gaining the neccesary experience, the teacher can plan to have his own school or educational consulting firms. We need more than 1 million entrepreneurs or employees with entrepreneurial drive in Nigeria.

And if 70% of doctors have there own hospital, 80% of lawyers have a law firm, 60% of teachers are consultants, how will they cope? Where is d balance?

This article is so wrong I dont even know where to begin

1. The average employee typically works a 5 day week or roughly 20 days in month. I completely disgree with the premise of the OP's dubious calculations, but even if the calculations were grounded in some sort of logic, shouldn't the OP be dividing by 20 instead of 30?

2. The OP also misses the point by comparing an employee and his steady income to Hawkers,Truckers etc with their irregular cash flow. Again I doubt the veracity of his stats with regards to the earnings of hawkers, truckers and co, but even if the stats were true, The OP still fails to consider that even though the Hawker could earn 2000 Naira in a day, he/she is not guaranteed an income of 120k per month unlike the Banker

The crux of the OP's assertion is Business Owners have the potential to earn more than employees. The OP fails to consider the level of risk that these entrepreneurs are exposed to.

For the vast majority of people, it is better to go to work and be guaranteed your 300k monthly salary jejely, than to go and out hustle with no true knowledge of when the next paycheck is coming.

But d person that made d calculation didn't remember to add that states differ in payment, that a person retired earning 75k will cont to receive at least 65k all Tru his life after he stops working and his family can receive same for like 5 year even after his death, plus gratuity will will be almost 3 million naira.
Also add that a self employed man may b making up to 4k a day, but he may not eat if d guy earning 2k is not paid.

To me, development is not on paper, development is not promises or press releases, neither is it media talks, rather, development is what can be seen, visible changes in the standard of living of the people. Power is yet to improve when we hear increase in megawatts generated but no increase in the hours we enjoy power supply, the military made us believe boko haram has been nipped in the bud yet hundreds of Nigerians are being slaughtered and injured as a result of bombing being carried out by the sect in the north. Thousands of graduates are unemployed, yet we are made to believe drastic measures have been taken to create jobs and improve the economy. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation recently released a statement assuring Nigerians about the availability of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in the country, yet there are queues in filling stations in the country with some buying for as high as 400 naira per liter.
The change we seek indeed takes time, but Nigerians are eager to see the direction this administration is going, this change maybe slow, but at least it must begin and it must be seen. I will not blame some Nigerians that have being criticizing the present administration thus far, most of them are students of history, some things happening now has happened before, any bad history is about to repeat itself, caution is needed, and in this dispensation, let the wailers wail in service to their countryside, let them call for caution. Hope the noise of their wail will reach the high places.

At the end of the day the cabinet will be a credible one.
