Dahveydson:Too bad m not disappointed, I expected this, buhari made a deal with those folks to b made president, now it is pay back time |
The op is clearly misinformed, no one should try to argue with him |
I came across d site on nairaland too. But some months ago. Filled d form and I received a message that I should come to one address with passport and cv. Couldn't go cos I was already fixed up. No message ever since |
bettercreature:I are sure? What if he was apolitical? What if he was too hungry to care about politics, and what if he was among d few who voted ur APC? What if? |
Saw this funny pic and I are it my whatsapp profile pic immediately, but I now some people won't dare it.

This is d Denrele I fell in love with... But too bad this Denrele is no more |
U can't mention neatest cities in Nigeria without mentioning ilorin. I dont stand to be corrected cause that's d fact |
atbu1983:I so disagree with u points there, and u are even more wrong with the biblical allusion, sounds like u don't understand d David - God relationship. D reason there is so much corruption in Nigeria is because politicians know they will get away with it as long as they dance to the tune of the power that be. This kinda mentality is d reason this country will remain under developed |
hardywaltz:like seriously? |
innervoice:maybe she knew but she didn't know it could kill d baby |
Our mothers are the first person to caress us once we are, but what if the first touch or first kiss that a mother gave to his new born baby is the reason why the baby would have sickness and pass away? How painful would it be if the one who gave life to the baby would also be the reason why the innocent baby’s life would be in danger? 11-day-Old Innocent Baby Passed Away After Being Kissed By Her Mom. Ruth Schofield gave birth to her adorable and healthy baby girl, but after 11 days, she was also the reason why her little angel passed away. The life of the baby Jennifer was put in risked when the mother, Ruth had been constantly kissing her baby on the lips. Jennifer got a virus from her mother’s lips. The mother transferred the virus, Herpes Simplex Virus after kissing the baby on the lips. The sad mother said, ‘The day she died it was a total shock. I just could not believe it.’It was only afterwards we discovered she had contracted HSV. Apparently it was in all her organs – brain, liver, kidneys – everything. On the last day her tiny body just shut down.’ The doctors did not know that the baby already claimed the disease so they weren’t able to give the baby the treatment that she needed before she gave her last breath. www.familyparliament.com/2608/11-day-old-baby-passed-on-after-being-kissed-by-her-mother

I think you are addicted to ur phone wen u just have the urge to press d phone even though all notifications has been checked, and basically, there is nothing to do with the phone, and though u have more important things to do, u just can't stop pressing your phone aimlessly. #Mystory |
So d president can't hold a meeting where deputy Senate president is present cos He is from a deputy political party, when did being in d opposition equal leprosy? I blame Britain for this, while I appreciate d efforts of our great nationalist, Britain gave us independent way too early, we obviously don't know what democracy is,Apc is an evidence. |
bisifoundation:This is so touching. Permission to share pls? |
Now, I think this Is funny, so people still do fall for this type of message?
|
Make I finish d story
|
Imagine people like Oshomole talking on nat8onal affairs, I don't blame him sha. He only want to remain relevant as he knows his tenure is almost over, and take it or leave it, only some bunch of sycophants will sing that guy's praise once he hand over, Edo people are just tired of the guy |
pedel:And how many years has passed since he was no longer a governor? 2011-2015? More than 4 years and that type of lie was well covered but all of a sudden, BPC discovered he lied in d form he submitted just about when he became d enemy of someone? I guess that is still not clear |
IzonOwei:Like seriously, if not for the purpose of passing exams that require current affairs, I stopped following Nigeria politics a long time ago. |
iheanyi40:Lolx. And which is number 1? |
Am still kinda dazed at some people's responses to this issue. I am from kwara State, but not a fan of saraki. The guy submitted that form more than 10 years ago, but he is being hounded now that he is in d black book of some people. So what happens if tomorrow he decide to settle with Tinubu and Co? CCB will suddenly realize they made a mistake in their charges against him? This is the reason Nigeria is damn corrupt. So a politician is clean as long as he is in the right camp? Corruption can never be fought that way, and if this is how PMB plan to fight corruption, then am sure Nigeria still hasn't found a messiah |
Thanks guys. At least now I know it is not just me. |
Morning guys. I noticed d rate airtel deduct Mb is usually high compared with other service providers. For example, I just downloaded a 46.9mb file, and i discovered like 251mb was deducted for that single download. Plus even if I don't download, just using the Opera mini, with low image quality, d rate mb reduces is so drastic. Don't know if it is only me that happens to. |
paulGrundy:Didnt really verify d story, esp d T. B Joshua part, but weda d story is tru or not is not d issue but d way people tend to take such news. |

vooks:I don't think the two situations are d same, those Pastors are stealing money outta anyone pocket, I have been in meetings where offerings were raised and I didn't give. My point is, am not saying those men are right, I don't feel they are, but let's take our attention away from them and put it on us |
After reading people's opinions about our Men of God and material possessions, I began to rethink my stand on the issue. Before I continue, I think I should first describe what my stand was. Each time I hear or read a report about Men of God acquiring material possessions, most especially with the bashing they receive from Christians and non Christians alike, I believed they should be left alone to do what seems good to them at that moment, because at the end of the day, they are not accountable to any man, but to God. So as a Christian, I try to pay my tithe and offering and I am always careful not to do it because someone persuade me to, but because it comes from my heart and because I believe God instructed me to, that way I do not get bothered about how the money is spent because it is my duty to pay and the pastor's to use and each person will account for his role. So I think I can say I am quite neutral. But recently, I began to have a rethink, a rethink because I began to ask questions and thereafter, I started feeling am too passive about this issue, maybe those bashing those Pastors are right, maybe the men most of us so revered are indeed extravagant. Come to think of it, the denomination I grew up in have a university it runs, but I had to stay at home for four years seeking for admission into a government owned University for the obvious reasons. We see the poor in the church, but I felt we are not seeing much succour, mostly all man for himself. The recent report of Sahara report on Pastor T. B Joshua joining the league of men of God with private jet, followed by another report from the same source about Pastor Adebayo acquiring a new jet brought the questions back to my mind, to worsen my 'case', I read a post by a public activist condemning Pastor Adeboye's move. Though the post raised some salient issues, I considered it rude and filled with hate, perhaps it was this salient points that raised another question in my mind. One of the points raised is the issue of poverty in the church. But then I asked myself a question, how many people will take the money they have being saving to buy a car to an orphanage to feed those poor kids? I bet you will agree feeding those kids is more important than getting you a car. I can remember that my small tecno phone cost 14,000 naira, and i was telling a friend some days ago that I am tired of it already, now, I need another android that costs 33,000 or even more, but remember there are poor people around who need that money more than I do, but I don't feel guilty am thinking of buying a phone not giving to the poor, and it will interest you to know that I am not working yet. But this is my question, can I give up my desire to buy a new phone so that someone can eat? Now, I love to get a better phone and I know I need it, but no matter how much I need it, someone needs to eat and cloth, and you will agree that is more important. But the question is, will I be able to give up my desire for a better phone to feed the hungry? There are many poor people in the church today, but there are many rich people too, when I say rich, I don't mean Dangote type of rich, but I mean rich enough to have surplus, no matter how little, but we know we will rather save up all the money we can lay our hands upon than give someone who can't feed well. In the old testament, the Priest doesn't give the people what to eat, tithes are paid to the priests and Levites had there share, but the Levites still had to pay tithe to the Priest. The priest and Levites had no inheritance like other tribes, God said He is their inheritance, as a result of this, no matter how much a Levite want to, he can't pursue his ambition like others, he has being totally sold out to God, a priest can't even marry any woman like other men in Israel, he have rules guiding his choice. Now, should the Pastors render helps to the poor, yes, of course they should, but each man according to proportion of faith he has received. Check through the law of Moses, you will see the Lord instructed the israelites not to pick their field the second time, any grain that fall belong to the poor and the foreigners, but in our present generation, we don't just go back to pick the second time, we make sure we sweep all, so much that nothing is left for the poor. We spend more than 100k a times on a mobile phone though we know a neighbour that can't afford a small chinko phone. Either you are a Muslim, a Christian, Traditionalist, or an Atheist, just before you throw the first stone, look around you, how many needs have you met? How many times have you inconvenient yourself so that someone will be better off, can u drive a smaller car though you can afford a bigger one, all so that someone may eat a more decent meal? You may say you aren't rich yet, but the little in your hand can make someone smile. Remember the cliché "don't ask what Nigeria will do for you, rather ask what you can do for Nigeria", my point is, let's stop looking without and look within, let's stop looking up there and start looking down, the fact is those men can never be perfect, we will always disagree with some things they do, but while we disagree, let's be our brother's keeper too. Am not saying our dear Pastors are right, but if they are wrong, most of us aren't right either. We no holy pass. |
My question is, are d Imams ready to give d people of ekiti those things they should reject? I no some of them are rich, so should d people of ekiti be expecting anything from the Imams? I don't support governors or politicians dishing out food, in fact, I hate it, but I also know the celebration will be more joyous for some people cos d governor will give them somethings they can't afford on a normal day. And their reason isn't so tangible too, can they tell how the life of an average Muslim man in ekiti changed cos more Muslims were in government in d past? |
tomakint:God bless u for that reply, u spoke my mind. Oshomole, giant strides, I laugh. D guy no get dwarf strides self |
Out of the states that have collected the money, only Kwara has announced using it to settle workers salary arrears. If I hear, Kwara state govt owed Council workers 2 months and paid d 2 months after receiving d bail out fund, but teachers, esp those teaching in primary schools are being owed 3 months salary and d state govt offered to pay one, but d teachers through their Union refused and at d moment, there is a great possibility they will go on strike soon. |
But for the ceaseless crying of a four-month- old baby yesterday, three children may have ended up in a kidnappers’ den. The cry of the baby, carried by Eno, the suspected kidnapper, who was accompanied by a teenager, inside an Iddo, Lagos-bound Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) vehicle, attracted other passengers. With the woman and the teenager, a girl, were two other children—Happiness Effiong (four) and her sister, Patience (two). They claimed that all three were Eno’s children. Worried by the baby’s cry, other women inside the bus asked Eno to breastfeed her. But she refused. She was also unable to pet the baby to stop crying. Suspecting her, the passengers were said to have alerted men of Iddo Police Station, Railway Terminus, who promptly arrested her and her accomplice. At the police station, Eno again refused all entreaties to breastfeed the baby. Instead, she brought out a feeding bottle containing an orange-colour watery substance, which the baby refused to take. Eno, who initially told the police that she lives at Iyana-Oba, Majidun in Ikorodu, later said she stays at Igando. Asked for her husband’s phone number, she claimed she does not know it, adding that she does not have a phone. The teenager, who she claimed to be her sister, was asked to use her own phone to call any of their family members to confirm Eno’s statement. The unsatisfactory response from their supposed brother, who she called, prompted the police to detain them. Although the suspects insisted Eno is the children’s mother, Happiness denied knowing either of them. Happiness said she lives at the Air Force Base, Ikeja and gave her father’s name as Effiong. She said they were taken from their home by the woman. “That woman is not my mother. My name is Happiness. This is my sister Patience. My daddy’s name is Effiong. He is at the Air Force Base. “My mother and daddy are in the house. I do not know her (Eno); she is not my mother. And I do not know her,” she said while responding to questions. Eno again changed her story, saying the children’s father is one Effiong who works as a cleaner at the Air Force Base. She claimed Happiness rejected her because she was arrested by the Task Force on Environment few months after she gave birth to her, adding that the girl doesn’t really know her. “They are my children, I am their mother. If you think I am lying, let us go to the Air Force Base and meet their father. “I was arrested by former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola when she (Happiness) was like this baby I am carrying now. Their father signed the paper for Fashola to take me away. “It was while I was with Fashola that I gave birth to this one (Patience) and this one I’m carrying now is four months old. I have five children, two with another man and these three with Effiong,” she claimed. Source: thenationonlineng.net/babys-cry-exposes-suspected-kidnappers/ |
