PStacks: Its such a pity how a prophet has no honour in his Home town.
Far away United States of America, an Army General, the Commandant of the US War College as at the Time Buhari was in America spoke so glowingly about Buhari, but here we are in Nigeria, people just want to smear the old man. Talk rubbish about him.
Ok, Buhari is an Illitrate. GEJ is a PhD holder.
A PhD holder that can't handle criticism and calls his Predecessor a Motor Park Tout, tell me, of what value is his PhD, if he can't even compose himself or talk sensibly in public.
The truth of the matter is, I'l rather have a collected illitrate than a disorganised PhD holder handle affairs of this country.
That settles if for me. Rubbish!!!...There is no quantum of sense in this your post. Mtchewwwww!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Yea...yea,many will say that they are not feeling GEJ,and he is not performing. But GMB is not any better!!! Ignorant people that know no shit about GMB keep saying GMB till 2019,if they really know the man, they will weep bitterly for Nigeria if he succeeds in deceiving Nigerians and getting elected. As a youth corp member serving in the North,we saw hell there! We watched GMB cry on national tv,urging his supporters to vote him in and at the same time instructing them to unleash hell should he loose. He lost and his wishes of violence where carried out...Southerners(Igbos and yorubas were slaughtered). Six of my colleagues too didn't make it!!!! Its a pity. May their souls rest in peace. Amen. If not for the soldiers that took us in,and Fashola that flew us out,I won't probably be typing this!!!! While crying on tv,he said 2011 would be his last campaign, buh here he is,clamoring for votes, nonsense!!! Please and please, vote wisely! GMB is a SHARIA supporter,a core fanatic,an extremist,a BH sympathizer, and all what not!!! GMB is just a green snake in a green grass,a chameleon, who has hidden all his henoius intentions, waiting patiently like a viper to islamize Nigeria and commence his long suppressed grieve against IBB,OBJ and few other military heads of state and retired generals. The funny part is they(IBB,ObJ and others)won't just sit back and watch you enter and come after them with you hounds, they have for sure endorsed GEJ fyi and have sworn that your ass aint gona sit on that number one seat in aso rock. PLEASE vote wisely and ask yourselves "WHAT HAPPENS TO SOUTHERNERS IN THE NORTH IF GMB LOOSES?!!!" I know for sure that violence will be instigated, but this time he will get himself arrested!!! GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!!!! |

1. University of Ibadan Started as Yaba College, Lagos
The University of Ibadan has her origins in Yaba College (now YabaTech), founded in 1932 in Yaba, Lagos. The Yaba College is the first tertiary educational institute in Nigeria. Yaba College was transferred to Ibadan in 1948. That was when it became the University College of Ibadan. This is the name some of our fathers and grandfathers still call the University of Ibadan till today.
https://www.ngscholars.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/ui_gate.jpg
2. UI was founded on its own site in 1948
The University of Ibadan was founded on its own site on 17 November 1948. In late 1963, on the university playing-fields, the Rt. Hon. Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, first Prime Minister of independent Nigeria, became the first Chancellor of its independent university. In that year, all remaining ties with the University of London were severed.
On November 17, 1948. Arthur Creech Jones, then the British Secretary of State for the Colonies, led the inauguration ceremony of the institution. The university was originally created as an extension of the University of London and was called University College, Ibadan.
3. UI, the only University founded before Nigeria’s Independence
The University of Ibadan, founded in 1948, is the oldest university in Nigeria and the only institution founded before the country became independent in 1960. The University of Ibadan is a federally- controlled public university located in Ibadan, Oyo State. Other big and popular Universities such as University of Lagos (1962), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1962), University of Benin (1970), University of Port Harcourt (1975), were only established after independence. Now you know, the only true University founded in Nigeria before 1960 is the University of Ibadan.
4. The first Indigenous Vice chancellor of UI was Kenneth Dike
https://www.ngscholars.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/kenneth-Dike.jpg
The first Nigerian vice chancellor of the university was Kenneth Dike, after whom the University of Ibadan’s library is named. He is the first indigenous VC of the University. Kenneth Onwika Dike (17 December 1917 – 26 October 1983) was a Nigerian historian. He was a native of Awka, in the then eastern Nigeria.
During the Nigerian civil war, he moved to Harvard University, Boston. He was a founder of the Ibadan School that dominated the writing of the History of Nigeria until the 1970s. He is credited with “having played the leading role in creating a generation of African historians who could interpret their own history without being influenced by Eurocentric approaches.
5. Designs of halls of residence are not identical
https://www.ngscholars.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/UI-new-PG-hostel.jpg
Did you know that the designs of the halls of residence in the University of Ibadan are not identical? And, just so you know, this is deliberate. Mellanby, Tedder, Kuti, Sultan Bello and Queen Elizabeth II halls – were designed by Maxwell Fry and Jane Drew. Messrs Watkins Gray and Partners designed Alexander Brown Hall as a part of the overall design of the University College Hospital Complex. Independence and Nnamdi Azikiwe Halls, were designed by Messrs Design Group (Nigeria) Ltd. Obafemi Awolowo Hall was designed by Allied Group of Architects, while Tafawa Balewa and Idia Halls were designed by Messrs Aderele-Omisore- Adebanjo Associates. The Federal Ministry of Works designed the Abdusalami Abubakar Hall.
6. These notable Nigerians attended University of Ibadan
Did you know that the following notable Nigerians and Politicians are alumni of the University of Ibadan? You will probably know some of them attended UI but other inclusions may come to you as surprises. Here is a short list of some people you might not know attended UI. 1. Chinua Achebe, author of Things Fall Apart 2. Emeka Anyaoku, former Commonwealth Secretary-General 3. Michael Omolewa, former President of UNESCO General Conference and Ambassador of Nigeria to UNESCO 4. Kayode Fayemi, Governor of Ekiti State 5. J. P. Clark, Nigerian poet and playwright 6. Wole Soyinka, winner of the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature 7. Grace Alele-Williams, first Nigerian woman to become the head (vice-chancellor) of a Nigerian university, the University of Benin 8. William Kumuyi, Founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry 9. Ken Saro-Wiwa, Nigerian writer, television producer and environmental activist 10. Farida Mzamber Waziri, Former Executive Chairperson of the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
7. University of Ibadan has no catchment area UI is one of the Federal universities with no catchment areas. Other Universites with no catchment areas are the 3 federal agriculture universities (Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta; Federal University Agriculture Makurdi; Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Umuahia, Abia State), University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT), Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE). The catchment area of UI is the whole of Nigeria. In this regard, UI is bringing candidates from all parts of Nigeria to write the examination.
Source:http://www.ngscholars.com/2014/10/7-things-may-know-university-ibadan/7/ Bros,I strongly do not agree with the fact you stated(Item No. 5),as regards the halls of residence in UI not being identical! Nnamdi Azikiwe hall and Independence hall are 1000% identical!!! The only differences are their location and the soil supporting them. Location wise, its just a perimeter fence that separates them. Chairman, pls make corrections as regards this pointer. I'm a graduate of UI and a cold-blooded Zikites. Zikites and Katangites have so MANY things in common. |

Celebrating the Saint, i saw no biblical back up to support it.
Celebrating the dead, i saw no biblical back--up. (it is just like Halloween day, Satanic celebration)
Purgatory was mentioned, no biblical back-up.
Mary was mentioned pope was mentioned
but there was no mentioned of Jesus or any bible verse.

Let her not cook, the guy will definitely not beg her! When he feels bored of her coming over and balancing her sorry self on the sofa,he will get a serious and better girl that will cook for him. I can bet with some CASH that any girl that refuses to cook(food that both parties will eat)for a guy she is dating DON'T know how to cook jack!! She is just a spoilt little piece of poo!!! Ask her and she will say "...honey let's go eat at TANTALIZER". As if that food was not cooked by a woman like her. My girlfriend cooks for me wella, and we both enjoy the meal together. I am even thinking of cooking for her,I pray she manages the CONCOTION I will put together. For your info, the ONLY GENUINE way to a man's heart is through his STOMACH,not the worthless sex you offer, which he will get elsewhere when you also choose to deny him that!!! Mtchew...no cook na,na only you go waka go your house that night. Laughs in latin. Case closed!!! |

Gbawe: You're a very strange chap with a mien for brazen deception that makes you nauseating. So most people upon hearing of the death of a "friend" they knew "directly" would say what you did, reproduced below, without even first expressing sorrow and shock for the loss of a "friend"? You are not fooling anyone as most posters now know you are fond of making wild claims you are always eventually discredited for.
@Post. RIP to the young man if true. Tragic for any young person to in their prime. You think talking sense is same as speaking grammar? From your comment,it shows that you don't have the slightest idea of the harm and suffering that is brought upon the masses by the looting of funds meant for the provision of BASIC amenities. You were probably a toddler crawling in one of the messed up allies when DSP was looting Bayelsa treasury. Do you know how many lives that would have been saved if those funds were not diverted? What have you to say of those that loose their lives due to bad roads,ill-equiped hospitals, environmental hazards, social vices due to lack of education etc? You don't have ANY RIGHT to pick on anybody for expressing their feelings for the poor dieing due to the looting of DSP and others. Pls kindly tell me what makes DSP's son's death more important than the hundreds and thousands that die annually,if you can't,just shut the Bleep up!!! My heart goes to the poor that die everyday and not DSP's son. Cased closed!!! |
