Christycode:This should be a new development from IRCC - you can upload the biometrics receipt that was issued to you at VAC after your application submission. |
Phatkings:Use the LOE - to tackle the concerns raised by the visa officer in your previous refused Application. Whilst, the SOP - will stand to explain your intent to undertake your proposed program in Canada, why the School, future career goals etc..If you don't have much points to present, you can stick to any of the letter either SOP or LOE. |
Christycode: KrystalDesign:@Christycode, The letter you received is called a Biometrics Validity Letter (BVL), it comes like a correspondence letter via your MyCIC Account stating that your biometrics is valid for a decade and that you wouldn't have to submit your fingerprints for any temporary resident visa application throughout this period of time. Please be well informed that applicants who receive this letter without a medical request is automatically a REFUSAL. This is the modus operandi by the Kenya, Nairobi Visa office since September, 2018 until now. |
Esteemventures1:I am glad you find the little piece of information helpful. In my absence, there are other knowledgeable individuals here in the person of Mcobex, Naijaforeigner, Justmellow, Austacus and Makano etc. These guys have been so helpful to prospective applicants and are doing a great job here. I applaud them for their selfless works on this window. You can contact any of them via their signature and request they should kindly glance through your SOP. |
jrondit:NECO is acceptable by few schools in Canada.... Like Memorial University of Newfoundland and University of Winnipeg. |
oyukuwife:Sure! You're eligible to use your husband's company account for your VISA Application without including a tax clearance certificate. If this is a Limited Liability Company, I would suggest you get a reference letter from the bank which would state that your husband or both of you are the sole signatory to the account, and has been satisfactorily been running the account since it's creation until this date. This will further prove to the visa officer that the funds presented in your application is readily available and accessible by you (the principal Applicant) at any given time during the course of your studies. |
bamangar:The standard Permanent Residency estimated processing times is 6 Months. Amen!!!!!!!.....Thanks very much for your best wishes and prayers. I really do appreciate. |
Fabelurin1988:2-4 pages is adequate enough for an SOP. So as not to bore the reader (visa officer) with irrelevant and repetitive points. |
Phatkings:I regret to hear your applications to five different universities for Admission were turned down. Please extend your search to Conestoga College and Fanshawe for their Global business management program. |
hannamia007:Sorry for the late reply Boss. My application is left with 9 weeks to complete the 6-Months PR VISA processing. There have no been any staggering response/update from Accra VO since I passed my Medicals and Biometrics. I am optimistic and trusting God for a positive outcome. Thanks for your concern. |
thesvnflwr:For biometrics its just a Walk in. But, medicals you're expected to book an appointment upfront prior to undertaking a medical exam. |
Esteemventures1:Hi, First and foremost, you've to start by tackling the concerns raised by the visa officer in your GCMS notes as well as the generic reasons that were stated on your refusal letter before proceeding to the statement of purpose, which will further solidify your purpose of VIsit. The letter used to address those concerns can be termed as Letter Of Explanation, whilst the SOP - would be to explain your intent to study the program in Canada, the school and future career prospects back home. You shouldn't state that it was an oversight from your end not to have included sufficient ties that can compel your return home in your previous application. You're free to add new documentations like buildings, landed properties, investments in the bank in an effort to tackle the visa officer's concerns and this wouldn't raise an eyebrow in your next application. All you need to do is to go straight to the point, mention the ties you've back home - Your aged parents who are getting older and require your constant support, are you the eldest in the family? you can also explain convincingly the bond you share with your immediate younger ones. Are you married, your spouse and kids are significant ties to your country of citizenship. Let the visa officer know that your family is very important to you and can't be trade for an Canadian stay, if you belong to any reputable organization in your local church or community, you can state your obligations within the organization that will motivate your return home etc. As per the current employment situation as a reason for a VISA refusal, simply admit the fact that it was non-inclusion of relevant information/documents in support of your employment that fetched you a refusal based on this ground. For this reason, you've now included adequate proof to your current employment in home country - also mention your current job title, what the company is into (the services the company provides to the masses/public), mention your annual gross pay and attach the study leave letter stating that you will return back to your current employer after the completion of your studies to resume/occupy your position in the company. I hope the professional certificate is in tandem with your previous studies/current employment in Nigeria? Also, be sure it's higher than your already completed degree, because I find out that some applicants do mistakenly apply for a post secondary diploma program with a belief that is a post graduate certificate, which at the end leads to a VISA rejection. Take your time to check what this professional certificate is all about. So you don't make same mistakes as other prospective applicants do. In respect to your request, I will not be available to vet the letter for you considering the short time for your reapplication. Though, there are other knowledgeable and trusted individuals on this window who can assist you in reviewing and making corrections in the letter where applicable. I strongly apologize for any inconveniences this might cause you. I hope this helps. It shall end in praises. |
Wisdom7400:It depends on what you plan using it for, WAEC is equivalent to Canadian High school diploma. To your next question, PLEASE REFER TO WES DOCUMENT-BY-DOCUMENT. |
hotboss:You've been denied MSc Admission isn't a good reason to opt for a low college admission. Your chances of securing a VISA to Canada with such reason/college acceptance letter is slim but not impossible. With the high rate of scrutiny/refusals for study permit Applications coming from Nigeria, my best advice is that you should keep on searching until you're able to secure a master's program, even if it's a course-based oriented program. With regards to your question, police character certificate can be done in any part of Nigeria, including Abuja. Though the police headquarters in Abuja will have to forward your details to CID police headquarters at Alagbon, Lagos for due processing, which will then be sent back to them and might incur charges let's say 15-20k as it's not done within Abuja. |
UBCcookies:Select - Temporary Resident VISA - Study Permit - Kenya, Nairobi Immigration Office. |
Adelola94:It's a new development by Access Bank. Soon other Banks will follow suit. The Ticket ID and Number gives the embassy free access to easily detect fraudulent bank statement. Go ahead and upload the attachment along side your other supporting documents. |
Zzzz1234:Yes include the NYSC details. You don't need the internship you did during your undegraduate studies. |
jidluk: Mandyknows:@jidluk, I would suggest your wife should apply for a degree that is higher than her already completed degree. Going for an ordinary diploma at this stage in her career doesn't show a logical progression and for the fact the visa officer will not be satisfied that she's a bona-fide Applicant who will study and depart and also using study permit as a means to facilitate entry into Canada rather than educational Advancement. The advice given by @Mandyknows is a guided one. |
Phatkings:While purpose of Visit wasn't mentioned in among the reasons for your refusal. However, I feel that you shouldn't leave any stone unturned in your next application. There are several schools like U of Windsor, Lakehead University and Thompson Rivers that doesn't require you to sit for any exam (GRE) prior to your acceptance into the program. Lastly, in your next Application, try as much as you can to show that you're well-established in your country of residence by demonstrating that you're gainfully employed with supporting documents like introduction letter, employment letters bank statement to substantiate your claims. In the end, take a bold step by ordering your GCMS note. |
Esteemventures1:I will appreciate if you can ask your questions here so others in same situation like yours would learn and make the most of it. |
BossFingy:Who is your sponsor? If the sponsor is a close relation - (Father, Mother, brother or unmarried sister) they are meant to share same surname with you. On the account that you're using a third party Sponsorship (Maternal Uncle, Aunt, Brother-in-law, and Sister-in-law, Step father etc). These set of people aren't expected to bear same surname with you. Thus, the answer to your question is dependent upon whether the sponsorship is coming from your immediate family members or a distant relative. |
Esteemventures1:KINDLY REFER BACK TO MY POST AS AT 2017 (PART 13), concerning your refusal grounds. ALSO CHECK OUT THIS POST (PART 9) . These attached links should adequately answer your questions. All the best; |
Phatkings:Going through your profile I can't find proof of current employment status in your country of citizenship. Aside from being a director in your dad's company, what else did you state in the IMM1294E is your present job role? Are you a fresh graduate and recently completed your NYSC?. Provide clarity to this concerns. Notwithstanding that purpose of Visit was silent among the generic reasons highlighted by the visa officer in your refusal letter, you have got a good CGPA 3.58 (Second Class Upper Division) in Accounting that can fetch you a direct Masters in MBA, Global Management program etc instead of PGD. I feel inadequate documentations were the reasons that led to your visa rejection. Meanwhile, get your file ordered as soon as possible for clearer insight. |
jidluk:Congratulations on your wife's Admission! Can you kindly confirm what type of Admission (post secondary diploma, Bsc, PGD, Msc, or PhD) your wife was given in this school (Assiniboine community college), as I haven't heard nor seen anyone over my three years of existence on this thread going to this school. The next step is to gather relevant documents like bank statements, degrees certificates, employment documents and file for her study permit application. |
Sakasakas: Phatkings:The both of you are funny by your comments Sometimes it takes an overwhelming breakdown to have an undeniable breakthrough. Brace up guys! This is just a stepping stone to your TRV success. Quickly order for your files, re-strategize and refire. In the absence of the notes, you may want to share a comprehensive list of documents you submitted with your application. It shall end in praises |
Phatkings:Sorry about the outcome of your application.... KINDLY REFER BACK TO MY POST AS AT 2017, concerning your refusal grounds. As per the GCMS note USE THIS AUTHORIZED LINK TO ORDER FOR YOUR NOTE, though you will need the assistance of someone who is presently in Canada to order the notes on your behalf. In case you don't have anyone in Canada, you might want to search through the internet for other trusted third party GCMS websites. |
Damsel30:You can apply to different schools in Canada provided that you can afford the fees when granted an admission. Getting a scholarship award in any of the Canadian Universities is dependent upon your CGPA during your undergraduate studies and also your unparalleled ability to secure a supervisor who will will accept you to work in their laboratory under their supervision. |
Joshnerl:During your Visa application process. |
wynie:Thanks @wynie. Good to hear you're making huge progress in preparation for your next application. With regards to schools offering scholarship awards, you can check University Of Saskatchewan, University of Waterloo, Brock University, Simon Fraser University, and University of Ottawa. |
Blema111:Awesome! Congratulations to you. I hope you get your PP dispatched to you soon. |
Blema111:You're also heading to U of Windsor. What program to be specific are you going for? |
Ruthiegal:Check - Master’s degree in International Trade and Investment Law at the University of Saskatchewan. |
