From the above list of documents presented and GCMS Notes shared by you. I think you've done a great job most especially by getting your dad to transfer a landed property to you (the son) as a Deed of Gift and also providing you with a written documentation that you're the next of kin to his 12M RSA Investment account here in Nigeria.Meanwhile, I hope the Deed was backdated to few years back and also it's commerical value (worth). Backdating the deed would further buttress the fact that you're well-established in your home country long before your previous study visa rejection and that the economic incentives in Nigeria far outweighs that of Canada. Therefore, you've no intention to stay in Canada beyond the validity period of your permit.

With regards to your SOP, I would suggest you contact any of the knowledgeable individuals here who will vet and make possible corrections in the letter where applicable.

Hi guys,I applied for MEng program in University of Victoria since May. I didn't get any response till I decide email them recently about my application status. They replied that it is required that all MEng applicant get a supervisor before being admitted. Meanwhile, my application was based on project/course work.

I'm just confused on what to do now cos I've been waiting since May.

Can anyone suggest other schools I can apply to without having to get a supervisor?

University of Victoria is a no go area for international Admissions and always come up with flimsy reasons after wasting an applicant's time waiting for an admission. I would suggest you check out Lakehead University or University of Windsor for MEng program. From my vast experience, I have noticed that applicants going to these schools (particularly U of Windsor) are mostly favoured in getting VISAS. Also the school is flexible in the sense that they have different start dates (Fall, Winter, and Spring). Another interesting part is that you DON'T need to secure a Supervisor . So waste no time and apply for an admission.

You sound like an undergraduate Applicant.... If so, yes you can secure an admission with such result. Though, you would have to justify what you've been doing since you last left high school until now and why you want to further your studies in Canada given the high cost and difficulty of undertaking a foreign education as well as why you should be given the privilege (VISA) as an exceptional applicant to study in Canada etc.

I took Toefl though and I have the unofficial copy of the result I downloaded from my result portal, can i submit the unofficial copy to the embassy?

Q1- NO you don't to submit an English proficiency test to the embassy.

Q2- YES, you can submit a copy of your student unofficial transcript for your visa application

Good day fellas, for about 3 weeks now i did biometrics together with my wife and immediately it reflected on our page that we had done it. However, while my biometric request was updated and submitted that of my wife is still showing 'your action is required' after she had done it 3 weeks ago. I sent mail via their webform and also mailed lagos and nairobi because i wouldn't know precisely the consular processing the application but nothing has been done concerning it. And as it is now, the application is already bn reviewed but because my wife's biometrics has not bn submitted hers hasn't bn worked on. Please gurus what can i do?
Also, how do i know the consular working on application? Is it in Lagos, kenya or Ghana. Yes lest i forget, i did online application.

Please confirm if your wife's biometrics number, enrollment and expiration date is reflecting on her MyCIC Account. If so, you don't have to worry about the "Your action is required"' message you see on her processing table. Within a short period of time, it will revert back to completed or We don't need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. Meanwhile, you've done the right thing by raising a CSE to the kenya, Nairobi Immigration Office.

Sorry for the late reply. I trust Naijaforeigner's post must have answered your query. Yes! you can from Nigeria provided you've an acceptance letter and currently enrolled in the DLI you're transferring to and also an evidence that you've withdrawn from the previous school.

Your friend needs a VISA for him to be able to book a flight and travel to Canada. At the point of entry into Canada, he will be issued a Work Permit. In a nut shell, you can't get work permit without/before VISA..

Like how much is suppose to be in the applicant account when checking up with the VO ?

There is no cut-off financial figure that is expected to be in a sponsored applicant account. Any amount would do. However, if you have vast working experiences over the years, a reasonable sum is supposed to be in your account let say 1M and above.

Okay bro, but will he still provide other sponsorship documents like employment letter of sponsor, 6 months Pay-slip, work Id, 6 months bank statement of the sponsor with adequate funds and a reference letter attached to it by the bank (bank letter head, signed and stamped).

with only those claims there won't be need for any other documentation.

Boss, your sponsor needs to provide adequate documentation to his source of wealth like employment letter, payslips, bank statements etc..(that's if he is gainfully employed). If he is an entrepreneur - he should provide his business registration certificate etc..

i used my Parent and six siblings as my home ties

above all, Prayer prayer prayer, infact i turned to spiricoco, this whole 12 weeeks almost gave me heart attack expecially when my medical started reading and even though i later received medical request after sending web forms and email, from that sep 5th that my medical was passed and bvl dropped, i coundnt sleep well at night, infact i went to buy a sleeping tablet a day before my approval and the anxiety all over me got me very sick after my approval.
i am specially grateful to AYODEJI786 my son , he was there for me through out this trial time, even though he was also expecting his approval and after he got his, he was keeping up with me from morning till night even in the midnight cos i coundnt sleep, Bp all over. you know i love you baby.

A special thanks to Blema111, Martinomi and to everyone here that i cant remember their handle, you guys really gave me hope.

I remember seeing tight applications here on nairaland and i started shivering, it was just Gods grace, i moved away from sins that i know off and i fasted and pray like its my last chance in life.

UK Introduces 2 years work Visa for international students... Am sure the traffic for Canadian study permit will reduce drastically and Canadian VOs will reduce their unnecessary refusals, cos am sure most Nigerian peeps with their money will prefer going to the UK than Canada.. What am saying in conclusion is that Approvals will be more than refusals in the coming months, or better still starting from Next year.... Peace

I woke up this morning to see this great news! Surely, Nigerians will start exploring the option of going to the UK for studies. However, this doesn't stop Canada immigration officer's from refusing applications from Nigeria nor hinder them from running secure/high background checks. So, let's don't think this news will in anyway remodel their decision-making on any application coming from Nigeria.

Your application is within the processing time. You've to exercise a little bit patience until the 9th week before sending a CSE to the Kenya, Nairobi Immigration office. Be positive throughout the process and your application will turn out successful!

You can go ahead submit your application with the land documents and survey plans. These documents are sufficient enough to show that your dad is the bona-fide owner of the land.

Frank, first off I want to commend the amazing job u do here and may God continue to bless and enrich you. I got denied on the 21st of August based on purpose of visit, finance and family ties both in Nigeria and Canada, even though I had $10k in scholarship and my moms SOA had 11millie, 4 properties and my course was human rights (studied International relation for undergraduate degree) I’ve moved past it can’t stay sad forever. My school (U of M) gave me a scholarship but when I informed them of current situation they said they’d defer till next September but my scholarship is gone although next year I’ll be consider when they are considering fresh applicants. Honestly I was really sad but again I’m staying strong, my intention is to reapply for study permit as early as April 2020 but I’ll need your help, if it’s not too much I’ll need your help in reviewing my sop for when I intend to reapply, I’m just informing u ahead of time and also I’m thinking of applying to other schools that could grant me scholarships so all my eggs aren’t in one basket if U of M doesn’t come through and oh I’m going to order for my gcms note while I wait, September is sha a long time

With regards to your present downhearted situation, I think you've done the right thing by ordering your GCMS notes in an effort to have a clearer insight about your VISA Rejection. September (fall) 2020 is not so far as you may view it at this time. Once you're able to secure a new Admission and also your scholarship, you can file for your study permit in time so you could be able to meet up for the accepted term.

Certainly, I will be glad to assist you in your next application and see that it works out perfectly and positively.

From the attachment you shared on this thread, I deduced that your refusal was as a result of your SOP which the visa officer outrightly stated was vague and poorly documented - You didn't succinctly explain your plan of studies in Canada as well as your establishment here in Nigeria that would considerably demonstrate that you're well-established and your proposed program would be a reasonable experience given your significant ties back home.

In your next Application, I would highly suggest you work on your ties here in Nigeria. Holdings like landed properties, investments, buildings etc.. should be adequately explained how they will compel your return home.

Having said that, you should state why you must return to Nigeria considering that Nigeria is a developing country and lots more of unending career opportunities await you as professional in your speciality across diverse industries/organizations within and outside of Nigeria which can further motivate your departure home. The impact and difference you can make in the lives of your country men... Do you plan setting up an NGO of your own, in an effort to create awareness about your program? An academy that would solely be to train and nurture the young ones about the importance of the program? All centered on creating job opportunities for teeming youths in your home country.

The aforementioned ties can be your unwavering commitments back home and for this reason should be sufficient to satisfy the visa officer that your economic incentives of coming back to Nigeria far outweighs that of Canada.

Once you're done crafting a mind-blowing SOP, contact any of the knowledgeable individuals here to vet, re-structure and make amendments where Applicable.

MUN has the lowest tuition fee in Canada. Anything cheaper than this, might not fall under a designated learning Institute.

For over my 1 and half years of experiences on AIPP, I haven't come across anyone that used 100% gift deed for PR under AIPP. The program requires you to show proof that you've adequate funds for you and your accompanying dependents in Canada. Moreover, AIPP POF is the cheaper in comparison with other PR programs. I would suggest you show adequate at your disposal and not a from a third party.

I am preparing for Study permit for my ward, Admission letter gotten, fees paid, currently processing visiting visa. Are there pre-steps I can take to make my study visa application faster (I do read people talk about Medicals done before hand etc.)

It is called an upfront medicals and it fastens an application processing as you wouldn't wait for IRCC to request for a medical exam from your ward again but to automatically update the E-medical result sent from the physician to your application.

Other cheaper institutions but higher than MUN tuition fees are namely - Simon Fraser University, University of Prince Edward Island, University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg.

Applying to one university doesn't affect your VISA application. As a matter of fact, you only need one acceptance from a DLI to apply for a study permit. So, this is not an issue. Carleton University is a reputable and expensive university in the capital city of Canada (Ottawa). Many have secured their VISAS with this school. You can proceed with your plans, you're on the right track

It will be difficult to see an affordable/cheap nursing program in Canada. Anyways, you might want to check University Of Saskatchewan, Memorial University and Brandon University. These schools tuition are relatively lower when compared to other higher institutions in Canada. Also, going through your spouse Profile, I noticed that there is no logical progression between his intended program in nursing and his previous studies as well as his current job role as a teacher. I hope he will be able to put up a convincing statement of intent as to why he suddenly decided to switch into the field of Nursing without previous experience. My suggestion is that your spouse should apply for a program that is reasonable inlight with his current activity in Nigeria and stand a better chance of getting a TRV to Canada.

Good evening. Please I applied for a student visa on 26th of July and my medicals were forwarded on the 29th. I've received biometrics correspondence email on 3rd September and nothing since then. Please I need help I'm loosing my mind. �

There is nothing to scared of. If I may ask, prior to the biometrics validity letter, did IRCC update that you passed the medical exams? If you had passed the medicals before the arrival of the BVL, your chances of securing a TRV is 50/50. Be optimistic it's gonna be positive.
