kcosam: Hi Frank, is the applicant suppose to leave this money in the account for the whole duration of the visa application process? Can one use part of it to continue running his business instead of just leaving it lying there in the account. It's always advisable to have the money ( $3,167CAD) readily available at all times in your account until you receive a PPR, in view of the fact that IRCC are unpredictable beings who might decide to request for an updated financial statement from you during the processing of your PR Application in order to ascertain that the funds you presented with your application aren't borrowed from family/close friends. This has happened on several occasions for Express entry applicants, though I am yet to see any for AIPP candidates. |

Churchgeh: Egbon Frank you are simply amazing, those who raise others can never go down, they will surely remain on top .
On to my question,
(1) As an experienced ECE( Early Childhood Educator) I realized most of the job posting on indeed.ca does not belong to the designated list, do they have to before I can forward my resume?
(2) To stand a good chance, can you please assist with the acceptable format for writing a resume and cover letters for schools in Canada generally.
Email is ololayimika@gmail.com
Thank you for your time. Thanks for the compliments and kind words! Q1- As per your first question, yes they have to belong to the designated list before you can send resume and cover letter. Meanwhile, you can contact the employers and see the possibility of those jobs being designated. Someone on our group was lucky to receive this offer from an employer. So you may try your luck too. Q2- I have forwarded a copy of the cover letter and resume for your reference via the email provided by you! I hope you find it useful. |

topiiiiiiii: My fear on this AIPP is hope the employer will not end up trapping someone with small income and not been able to work else where and really puzzled ? The employer can't dare to pay you below the minimum wage of the job as there are rules and regulations governing each provinces about salary payment which employer's are fully aware and wouldn't go contrary to. Also, when given a job offer... You and your employer will sign a written contract which is valid for a year. After this period of time you may choose to leave or continue with the employer. |

teesquad007: Hi Frank, most of the companies i saw on the designated employer list are either a Restaurant and Hotel which doesnt fit into some people's like me job description who happen to be in a Building related field. What do you suggest i do? Should i just forward my resume to the restaurant or hotel and apply as? Most cases you might not find the exact NOC that matches your job role in Nigeria because there are few companies in the Altantic Province of Canada. Applicants majorly utilize the available option (Restaurant and Hotel) and claim they have an experience in the field so as to be granted a job offer. |

I would like to ask please which of the IELTS is required for the AIPP programme (Academic or General). Also, could you please assist with recommending anyone who can update Resume's and Cover Letter to the Canadian standard?
Thank you Frank. IELTS General is required for an Immigration program to Canada including AIPP. I have sample of resume and cover letter in Canadian standard that you can use for your application. |

Lastly, invest your time and effort in writing a good study plan/SOP that would demonstrate that you're a genuine student with lawful purpose which is to study and depart Canada at the end of your authorized VISA. raymege: This issue of fake statements. That 5 years isn't even enough,in my opinion. They should prosecute and jail such offenders, they simply cause problems for other jnnocent applicants. Nigerians need to stop all this criminality. Sentencing someone to JAIL just because the person submitted a fraudulent bank statement shouldn't be the best move here. I think the 5 years ban is okay to make offenders realize their mistakes and to deter future intenders from following this path. It's quite unfortunate that the culprits have made things so so difficult which attributed to the high refusal rate for the genuine Nigerian applicants.... The worst aspect of it all, is that they know the consequences behind involving themselves into sharp practices(fraudulent statement) but they still go ahead and do same. |

Tax Clearance Letter of Introduction of Sponsor Birth certificate of co- Sponsor Pay Slip Data page of Passport 6 months SOA If you seek my opinion, I would say I don't see the need of the co-sponsor in your application. Since the prime sponsor has already made a commitment of 4kcad towards your tuition fees and left with 21kCAD(5.8M) tuition balance as well as he has also gone ahead to deposit 10kcad into your account which is intended for your first year living expenses. In light of the above, the prime sponsor would be left with 3.2M after paying for your first year tuition and living expenses, which is still fine to an extent. Therefore, I would advise you take off the co-sponsor with 900k bank statement from your account and use your main sponsor. All the best |

Search for companies within the Atlantic Region of Canada that would agree to offer you a job as an Operations Manger. Send across your Resume and Cover letter to them. chiwelaw: Good day, Does having an Express entry profile affect your chances of getting a student visa? Does one need to quote the UCI in ones Express entry profile? Or get a new one? Note that the Express entry profile score is below 350, therefore may not get any invite. I will appreciate your response. Thank you From my recent findings, I have come to learn that applicants who have an active EE profile and now applying for a study Visa are usually denied of their Visas on the basis of their ties back home, because the visa officer is not convinced about their intent to study in Canada and depart. Although, it was stated that on IRCC official website that having dual intent is legitimate but the visa officer's at the embassy choose to go contrary to the law and reject study permit Applications with EE profile. Also, when applying to any Visa be it temporary or permanent residency to Canada, your UCI - is your unique number and must be entered in all of your applications. You can't be issued a new one.My best suggestion is that you delete the active EE profile and face the study permit application proper since you've a very low CRS score and doesn't qualify you to migrate through the EE pool unless with the aid of a PNP which in most cases is very difficult to get. |

UBCcookies: Good morning all, if I defer to September 2020 since I won't be able to meet up this fall because my visa is still being processed, will I be able to enter Canada anytime or if IRCC finds out about the deferral before my visa approval will they withdraw it? You can certainly be able to enter Canada anytime so long as your VISA is still valid. On your stamped VISA Passport/introduction letter you will see the duration of your VISA and the expected time you're meant to be in Canada. IRCC will not withdraw your approval. Since you're not able to meet up for the fall 2019, IRCC will send you a request for an updated LOA prior to the issuance of your VISA. This is also not an issue to be bothered about. |

bennyg24: Good day nairaland fam, please I need help from gurus here, just got a refusal and the 3 reasons where: 1. Insufficient funds to pay tuition for my the duration of my proposed program. 2. Insufficient funds to pay transportation cost to and from Canada for myself and any accompanying family member. 3. Insufficient funds to maintain myself without working in Canada. I never knew this refusal can be so disheartening, gosh! Submitted online 17th July for MEng civil engineering, had a BEng in civil engineering with 2 years experience(self employed with CAC registration). Tuition fee for entire program is 30k CAD (I already Paid 4k CAD tuition deposit) Sponsor is elder brother with account balance covering entire tuition plus living expenses for a year. I did not include my personal account statement as at time of application due to a very low balance and inflow. Could it be just my account that is the problem? PLEASE WHAT MAY BE WRONG WITH MY APPLICATION? SOMEBODY HELP! I NEED UR URGENT AND EXPERIENCED SUGGESTIONS. Thanks Sorry about the outcome of your application boss!. Financial insufficiency is the easiest refusal grounds for a study to Canada. So don't have to panic okay. Permit me to ask you, How much was in your brother's statement of account?, and how many dependants did he declare in his Sponsorship letter?. You said you've been self-employed since you last left school. Why didn't you include your personal bank statement to further buttress the fact that you're established to a degree that your proposed study would be a reasonable expense. Provide the above answers to my questions, then I'll proceed to advice you properly on how to put up a good Application. It shall end in praises. |
